Willow's POV
We go back to being silent while he drives us. Not long after I start to smell the ocean and that comforts me. Back at home, Liam and I would spend many nights by the shore talking watching the stars. So, being close to the ocean is comforting for me.
Since it's already November and it's cold I take my jacket off to cover Dylan and slowly set him down on the seats. He stirs a little bit but continues to sleep soundly and I take that as my cue to leave the car, as silently as I can.
Arthur follows and we both sit down on the hood of his car, facing the dark water crashing against the rocks. We stay like that in silence for a while, watching the ocean, the waves and the stars.
There's no one else here with us but I feel safe.
Oddly enough, Arthur makes me feel safe.
