That Saturday afternoon ended up being a little bit stressful for me in the end.
"Willow? Is that you?"
I turn back to see Johanna in workout clothes. Tight shorts and a sports bra covering little in her fit frame. I'd be jealous if I had time to think about how unfit I must be. I used to be active before Dylan but now I have much more to worry about.
"Hey, Johanna." I smiled at her. " I wasn't expecting to see you here."
"Yeah, I love to run so I come here to the park a lot. It's also a good way for me to cure hangovers" She chuckles. "How are you? You never answered back regarding that party."
Just then, Dylan comes running, stopping by my side and looking at Johanna curiously.
"Who's this little one?" She asks flashing him a smiler with a short look at me before crouching down to his height.
"I'm Dylan." He extends his hand to greet her.
"I'm Johanna. Nice to meet you, young man." She grins extending her hand.
Being the charmer my son is, he takes her hand and tugs it toward him to kiss her knuckles. Johanna's eyes widen in shock for a moment before she cracks up laughing.
"What a gentleman. Who taught you that?" She grins at him.
"My uncle Jake, he says this is how you should greet women." He smiles at her.
