'Sylvia POV'

I was that dreaming about something when someone shout right in my ear, yeah fucking right in my goddamn ear!!

"WAKE UPPPPP" A familiar voice of my younger sister echoed my whole ear making me groan from pain But not forgetting to smack her somewhat

"Aishhh what the fvck skyle?" I attempt to cover my face with a pillow but she's fast pulling it away from me

"What again? Aishhh it's still early!!"

"We're going to enroll today, did you forget it?" She sat beside me and look at me boringly

"Just wake up already, you lazy dimwit"

"You go, enroll alone" i turned my body away from her and attempt to continue my sleep, let aside my dream

"CLEAN TIME KIDS. don't clean no food" it was my mom Vera.

The rules in this house is if you don't clean you wouldn't be able to eat but y'know it's just a joke, but still though. you would just be ashame doing nothing

Actually my mom has a husband before my father so eventually I have a half-sister and half-brother. 2 in the first and 4 in the second husband.

In our siblings I am the older even not, since the real older was busy at working everyday as an employee at the mall. The second has already a family with two kids so basically I am the older now.

We're not that poor either that rich, we can just provide what we needed everyday at the same time can buy what we wants.

I lazily get up from the bed but not forgetting to fix it first as I know mom will beat me to death if I didn't. after that I enter the bathroom and there I clean my whole body by showering and brushing my teeth.

once I'm done I select some clothes from my closet. I choose black sweatshirt and black cargo pants with white plane rubber shoes.

I didn't even care to atleast comb my hair as I head down downstairs with my wallet, cellphone and of course my favorite black-caramel bucket hat.

"morning princess, come give daddy kiss" I sarcastically rolled my eyes as I approached my dad and peck his cheeks

"is skyle already in suit?" I roamed my eyes and saw that she is already eating his break- I mean lunch since it's 11:30 now. I sat beside her and put some foods on my plate

"where's prince and ayan?" I questioned my mom who's now making her own coffee

"playing their gadget, nothing new you already know that Leih" I groaned. even this time@ they just wasting their time at that stupid gadgets

prince and Ayan was my last siblings. Ayan is the youngest while prince was the second youngest in this family. I love them of course but I just hate seeing them consuming their life at games.

"did you finally choose your course?" I turned my attention to dad who's now eating Infront of us

"yeah I already told it right? I will enter Arts and film"

"I think you're already sure about that but think of it maybe-" I cut him off since I already know what was coming next

"Dad y'know I love writing and I'm amazing at drawing. it's really far from being a teacher " he gave me and understanding smile and nod at me.

gosh I thought he would really stop me

"ok that's your choice, just study well" I nod at him and smiled widely that cause him to chuckled

"I will drive you both"

"skyle school are quite far from mine right?"

"yeah it is, so I will drop you first then skyle next since we can't go there at any ways without passing by your school" after saying those we heard some footsteps coming from the stairs and a familiar laughs

"eat already boys, someone might attack you both" my dad stated as Ayan and prince finally showed up, mostly warning.

"hey-" I was just going to start my sentences when prince cut me off immediately

"he's fault, he said we will just have 1 round and it turns out 20" prince was quick to defend his self as I'm stopping myself to burst into laugh at how he looks so pale already

"no snacks today for cutting me off" I heard my mom chuckled abit then made the two sit beside dad, Infront of us

"I was just expla-"

"its fair now" I stopped and eyed Ayan "you? any have to explain?" he shook his head and look down

"gawdget mowre" Skyle suddenly spoke while still munching her food as I smack her arms softly making her apologize

"any explanation Ayan?" I repeat myself since he didn't reply earlier

"i-im sorry, not gonna happen anymore"

"good" I stopped as something popped inside my head

"hey mom, I will visit sister Audrey later. is that ok? I already miss myla" sister Audrey was the second child and Myla is her 10mnths old daughter

"oh speaking of her, she texted me earlier that we should eat instead our dinner at their house later"

"I miss my cute myla"

"she's mine" I argued back to skyle

"oh no no, she definitely love me more than you" she smirked as I just rolled my eyes on her as I know the truth. Myla can't even see her face without crying lol

"but I'm her second mother though" ever since sister Audrey first kid born which is Jay (3yrs old) I am already like a mother since sister always make me take care of him. and so does to Myla. but Myla is more adorable, I don't know why but I guess because we're same gender.

"atleast I have a special role to her pshh"

"so obsessed with your nephew ha? "

"she's not my nephew dad, she's my child"

"so you're not a virgin anymore?" all of our eyes widened at the sudden sentences of Ayan who's looking at me innocently.

"did you just what?"

"I said , you're not a vi-" dad didn't let him continue his word as he put his palms on Ayan's mouth

"Omg- you unholy kid" skyle dramatically put his palms on his chest, acting so surprised

"where did you know it?"

"well umm-i k-kinda read some s-stories on your Wattpad a-acc an-"

"I knew it, that's why my phone was lowbat that time" if staring can kill people, Ayan might be a lifeless body now on the ground as I glared at him sharply

"i-i didn't m-mean to"

"no gadget for today Ayan"

"weak password I guess"

"shut up skyle. aishhh hope you didn't said it yet to someone"

after that lunch of ours, dad immediately change his clothes since the school are just open untill 3pm today as it's already 12:30 and we still need more time before getting there so we need to hurry up.

it was Saturday now and the start of school are already on Monday. we still didn't have any school supplies as we're so lazy to go to the mall and shop for it, but tomorrow I know I should.

we suddenly stopped Infront of the big gate that make me confused. so I look through the window and saw that were Infront of the big university.

guess new school new life

"you seriously want me to enroll here dad?"

"yeah of course, didn't you said that you want personal room? they have dorms there"

"really they have?" my dad nod at skyle

"Omg I want too" i shook my head then grabbed my phone and wallet before opening the door

"take care Sylvia. well see you at your sister Audrey's house later" my dad wave at me as I did back to him

"bye sis, enjoy hell" I groaned and try to approach her but the car suddenly dashed off with her laughing

I know she's still one year old younger than me and she's my sister but part of me want to kill her already. she really like to pissed me knowing I'm a low tempered person

she knows that I don't like school since I don't like to talk to many people except for my family.

besides the fact that I have social anxiety, I didn't want also others acompany.

as I step Inside I saw how many students are here now, guess they also rushing to enroll before Monday comes. as long as they dont stare at me I didn't mind though

as I continue to walk and arrive Inside the first floor, a long line catch My attention that coming from the registration office. I sigh and took the chair next to the last person in the line.

I opened my phone to distract myself from boredom while waiting for my turn and check my messages. the first message was from dad telling me to go straight at sister Audrey's house after.

the second was from my bestfriend Nicole, cheering me to overcome this whole afternoon without any problem. Nicole Mae Watson was my first year high school classmate before until we get along and became bestfriend

we studied in the same school since first year to last year of highschool, but sadly she can't go to the same university I was going to enroll now because she will take her course at Singapore.

we hangout last week before she flied to Singapore, it was great, we laugh, we reminded each other and especially we cried at each other's arm.

she was my only bestfriend and now she's not here anymore, not here by my side. I'm also happy for her though since we knew both that

by studying at abroad will help your career in future.

the third message was from my sister Audrey reminding me about the dinner later, guess she thinks that I didn't know yet. I replied to those 3 message first before moving on to the next.

the fourth message was from my one and only GC on my acc. it was a group chat that has a lot of teenager from different countries. Nicole is also there as I just discovered this by her, adding me in this group chat.

the last message was from my cousin Archer Krist Esquivel. he just send an emoji with hi that I didn't think twice to ignore. I already know that kind chat of him, he will just ask for someone to chat.

I rolled my eyes and was going to closed my phone when suddenly someone stop at my side. I didn't bother to look at that person since I think she/he was just waiting for someone

as I was going turn my face on the other side but someone tapped my shoulder making me look at that person with a confused face. I saw him scratch his neck and smiled at me awkwardly

"can I ask something?" the guy who's taller than me asked. he was wearing black shirt and white pants with white Snickers. just fit with his white skin

"y-yeah sure" shit calm down self

"you're shuttering" he chuckled not until he realized it

"oh sorry, didn't mean to. are you freshman?"

"yeah why?"

"oh finally" he sat next to me "I am also a freshman. I've been looking for some since earlier here" he sigh in relief and smiled.

"how old are you?"

"ummm 17"

"nice younger than me. like my sister" I smiled a him awkwardly since I don't know what to do except thst

"ah by the way my name is Rylle lee Patterson"

"Sylvia Leih Esquivel"

"same L for second name" I think he noticed that I'm still akward at him so he offered his hands to me

"friends?" I look at his hands and hesitately shake it but did it in the end though

after that conversation of us I bid my goodbye to him as I entered the registration office but not forgetting to ask for his numbe- actually he's really the one who asked my number so it's called we exchange numbers.

as I enter the room, a cold air welcomed me.

this room was in aircon that's why. i sit Infront of the middle age woman with glasses, I gulp once are eyes met.

"name?"

"Sylvia Leih W. Esquivel"

"enrolling for?"

"first year" she nods as she type on the computer and filling up one paper

"do you have your grades? birth certificate?"

"yeah" I put the envelope on her desk that has my requirements. she start opening it and pulling out those things before gaving the envelope back to me

"this is your schedule for the whole year" she laid the the large paper Infront of me with a key above it

"Mr. Larry Esquivel, guess your father. already transferred us the money. for your entrance registration, 3months tuition fee, and of course for the dormitory"

"i thought dormitory is free?" she averted her eyes from the computer to me

"of course no" she paused "unless you are scholar"

scholarship? so they offer scholarship. should I apply? nahhh you will just end up crying if you didn't pass. but if I didn't try it dad will pay more.

"already done. check your email later for more-"

I cut her off

"w-wait, i-ummm. can i-i apply for s-scholarship?"

I saw that she take off her glasses then look at me with a most serious face. goshh, should I take back the time now? should I back out? tell her its a prank?

"back tomorrow at 10 am since the school are closing already. you may leave" she take back her glasses and I thanked her then exit the room but not forgetting to grab the schedule and key with a most satisfying feeling I ever have

I just grab some cab and texted dad and sister Audrey to inform that I'm on my way now.

sister replied me 'ok, take care' then she send me a picture of Myla wearing a nice dress with a caption 'Myla looking already for her mama Leih'

I smiled and save the picture. I don't really like kids because they keep pestering me and they won't stop unless you beat them to death.

guess Myla and Jay are the exceptions

I just took 30mnts from school to the subdivision where they leaving. it was near from all the places you want/need to go. the police station are just beside them, the city was just 10-14 minutes away same to the mall, park, hospital and etc.

I told the driver to stop at the black gate. their house are just in the middle of whole subdivision, quiet near to the Guard's house.

after arriving I paid him $80 not forgetting to thank him before getting out and click the doorbell.

"oh hey Sylvia, come in" it was their maid who greeted me that I returned with a small smile.

"is mom already here?" I asked after she locked the gate

"not yet"

"still preparing their selves I guess" we both laugh as I stopped on the door to remove my shoes and finally step Inside.

"Sister? I'm already Here" I said a litt bit more loud

"hey Jay, where's mommy?" Jay suddenly appeared from the kitchen and run into me once he saw me and I lowered myself to him then hug jay

"bewdroom" I pull away from him and knitted my eyebrows

"then what are you doing on kitchen?"

"n-nothing"

"you're eating chocolate again, didn't you?" he hesitately shook his head

"pshhh such a Liar. look at your teeth. come I will clean your face" I grab his small hands and wash his mouth on the sink

"stop eating chocolate that much or I will tell you to mommy, want that?" he shook his head and put his hands up, indicating he wants me to pick him.

"what's mommy doing upstairs ha?"

"don't know" I pinched his nose that cause him to groan and we head upstairs

as I was going to knock on the door but suddenly I heard some weird noise coming inside. me being as a confused human try to listen to it more carefully

"what's that?"

"it's mommy"

"I know she's that, but why the hell she's moaning?" I looked at him confusedly but he looks more confused than me

"what's moaning?" and that's how I realized what I just said and all of this, causing me to step back

"ohh its the sounds of cat" I place my other hand on his ear and dashed off from there to the kids rooms

'thats that's why no Audrey welcomed me with a hug as she is busy in heaven' I murmured once we stepped inside the kids room

I saw that Myla was sleeping on her crib with a lullaby sounds coming from the phone on the night stand. 'they really planned it'

"hey cutie" I softly pecked Myla's forehead as I can't really help it. I like what's babys smell it's really good in my nose.

"awntie, I want to play"

"what kind?"

"cawrs, I wanna drive cawrs"

"police will caught you"

"no, itch nowt that"

"then what?" I saw him shook his head making me giggle

"thish one" he placed his hands on the night stand trying to pick the phone

"no no, not that Jay"

"but I want awntie, plishh?"

"no"

"awntie" gosh how I end up in this situation?

if I stop the lullaby Myla might wake up and most importantly they will heard also me that noise.

Jay start to cry as I still didn't let him play the phone. "Jay we will just end up in hell if you play that"

"bowt I'm goowd awntie"

"still no" he cry even more louder making me to panick

"you can't play it baby. how about let's play hide and seek?"
