I was wrongly accused of killing Alpha Darius's younger sister. To atone, Darius keeps me by his side, treating me like a prostitute and constantly humiliating me. I believed that one day he would discover the truth and see how much I truly love him. But until the day I die, he continues to hate me.
Alpha Darius pinned me beneath him, thrusting into me with the relentless force of a beast claiming everything that was mine.
My nails dug into the sheets as my body trembled, the pain overwhelming. His burning chest pressed against my back, his powerful muscles threatening to crush me at any moment.
"Seraphina, I hate you!" Darius Nightbane's deep, magnetic voice was a growl in my ear, dripping with contempt. Each word was laced with venom. "You're getting more and more boring. More and more... disgusting."
I squeezed my eyes shut, fighting back the agony. But I couldn't stop the overwhelming wave of sorrow and humiliation that rose in my chest. Alpha Darius was torturing me on purpose-he'd never treated me as an equal. I was nothing more than a toy to him, a prey for his amusement.
His movements grew even more brutal, his weight pressing down hard on my neck, almost choking me. "Seraphina, don't be like a dead corpse. It sickens me!" he spat. "Do you hear me?"
His fingers tightened around my throat, gradually increasing the pressure as if he intended to strangle me.
"P-pain..." I couldn't hold back any longer, a groan escaping my throat.
Darius seemed satisfied, releasing his grip on my neck, but his actions remained harsh, relentless.
Just as I felt myself slipping into unconsciousness, the phone on the bedside table rang.
Darius paused, his iron-clad body still crushing mine, before answering the call.
"Isolde, what's wrong?" His voice, soft and affectionate now, was a stark contrast to the cruelty from moments before. There was tenderness there, almost intoxicating.
I slowly opened my eyes, the sharp pang in my chest tightening as I gripped the sheets.
"Don't worry, I'll be right there. Okay, I'll hurry..." he murmured before hanging up.
He pressed his body against mine again, his fingers leaving sharp, stinging marks on my skin. Everything ended quickly.
"Isolde's power went out. She's scared. I need to take care of her. Now, hurry up and please me!"
Isolde Shadowmere needed him, so he demanded I degrade myself for his satisfaction. Just so he could finish quickly and rush to her side.
How ridiculous.
"Darius, if you're in such a hurry to see Isolde, why don't you just leave?" I mocked, though my heart tightened painfully.
In his eyes, I was trash-an object to be discarded-while Isolde was a goddess, his future, the supreme Luna.
"Seraphina, you're nothing but a whore. What right do you have to tell me what to do?" Darius flipped me onto my back, his hands tight around my neck. His silver eyes bored into mine, burning with vicious intensity. "I paid for you. You're here to please me. That's what whores are for, isn't it? You filthy, worthless wolf who can't even shift."
The insult stung, and I squeezed my eyes shut in pain.
Yes, I took his money. And now, this was my punishment.
After a few agonizing seconds, I slowly opened my tear-filled eyes, my voice bitter. "Let's end this, Darius. I don't want to do this anymore. Aren't you planning to marry Isolde? Fine. I'll leave, and you can spend your life with her."
Alpha Darius remained silent for a long time, his piercing gaze fixed on me, his eyes burning with cold, brutal hunger.
"End this?" His fingers brushed my delicate neck before tightening again, ruthlessly. "Fucking bitch, what right do you have to talk about ending this? You don't just owe me money-you owe me your life."
His eyes blazed red with fury.
"My sister has been missing ever since you ruined her life, her fate unknown. And now you say you want to leave? What the hell makes you think you can just walk away? Fucking bitch, Seraphina, you'll spend your entire life paying for this!"
"That car accident... I didn't do it, I swear..."
"Shut up!" Darius snarled, squeezing my neck tighter. My face turned red, the air slowly leaving my lungs as I couldn't make a sound. "I saw it with my own eyes. You were the one who crashed into my sister's car, sending her to the bottom of the sea... I saw it, and you still want to lie to me? How fucking shameless are you?"
Saw it with his own eyes?
I widened my eyes in disbelief. I never drove that car. Where did his so-called 'witnessing' come from?
"Seraphina, I'm telling you now-I'm going to torture you for the rest of your life. You'll never escape the remorse. Never escape the guilt! This is what you deserve. This is what you owe me!"
