On her seventh wedding anniversary, Christoper sat alone at a cold dining table waiting for her billionaire husband, Edmund. A glance at his shared location revealed he wasn't at the office. He was at his private racetrack, intimately mentoring his young protégée, Janessa. Christoper drove there in secret, only to watch from the shadows as Edmund gave the other woman a tender smile he hadn't shown his wife in years. The ultimate betrayal didn't come from him, but from their six-year-old daughter. The little girl ran right past Christoper's hiding spot, threw her arms around Janessa, and cheered for her like a hero. Later that night, the child buried her face in Edmund's neck. "Daddy, I love Auntie Janessa so much. Can she be my new mom?" Edmund merely hushed the child, shooting Christoper an annoyed glare as if she were the one ruining their perfect family. Seven years of sacrificing her life to be a flawless wife and mother had reduced her to an invisible intruder. Edmund truly believed she was just a compliant shadow who would tolerate anything because she was nothing without his wealth. He had completely forgotten who he married. Without a single tear, Christoper left signed divorce papers on his pillow, froze their joint accounts, and vanished into the night. It was time to return to Silicon Valley and reclaim her hidden identity as the founding genius of the world's most powerful AI empire.

His Unwanted Wife Is A Tech Zillionaire Chapter 1 Seventh Anniversary, Final Notice

Christoper Blackburn sat alone. The silence in the dining room was heavier than the scent of cooling food.

On the wall, a sleek digital clock displayed the time in minimalist white digits: 8:00 PM.

Two hours past the time her husband, Edmund Hamilton, was supposed to be home.

Her hand reached for the phone beside her plate. A calendar tag above the screen, the entry for "Seventh Anniversary Dinner," blinked with a soft, mocking glow.

She checked his real-time location. It was not at the Hamilton Group headquarters, nor was it on any of the freeways leading back to their Palo Alto estate.

The small icon, a representation of the man she had married, pulsed steadily over a location in the Santa Cruz Mountains. A private racetrack. Edmund's personal property.

It was the place he mentored his brilliant protégée, Janessa Miller.

Christoper let out a sigh and closed the phone. She calmly pushed her chair back, the sound scraping softly against the polished floor.

She stood up, took off the silk dress she had chosen for the evening, and put on a pair of old jeans and a plain gray t-shirt. She went to the garage, bypassed the luxury cars, and got into a simple sedan used by the household staff.

The engine turned over with a quiet hum. She input the racetrack's address into the navigation. The automated voice was cheerful and cheerful, a stark contrast to this cramped, silent space.

She needed to see it. Just once. To sever the last stubborn thread of hope.

Forty minutes later, the car pulled up to the entrance of the racetrack. The security guard in the booth recognized the modest car and waved her through without a second glance. The distant whine of a high-performance engine grew louder, punctuated by the sharp squeal of tires against asphalt.

She parked in the shadows, far from the floodlit finish line.

She didn't get out. Through the windshield, she saw him. Edmund. He was leaning against a Porsche 911 GT3, its racing-yellow paint glowing under the lights.

He was bending down, his focus entirely on the woman who had just climbed out of the driver's seat. Janessa Miller. He was adjusting the strap of her helmet, his movements patient and focused.

Janessa tilted her head up, laughing at something he said. The light caught her honey-blonde hair, making it shine. Edmund's mouth curved into a smile-a genuine, unguarded smile that Christoper hadn't seen directed at her in years.

Then, a small figure darted into Christoper's view. Their daughter. Six-year-old Camilla.

She ran towards them, clutching two water bottles. She handed one to Edmund, one to Janessa. Then she threw her arms around Janessa's leg, her small voice high with excitement, piercing the silence of the night.

"Auntie Janessa, you were so cool! Like lightning! You're way more fun than my mommy! I wish you were my mommy!"

Seeing that scene, Christoper felt a sharp ache in her chest for a moment. Camilla hadn't held her that way in a long time. The daughter she had nearly lost during a difficult birth, the daughter she had carefully raised and taught, was now comparing her to another woman right in front of her.

And her husband, Edmund, showed no reaction to such inappropriate words. He simply reached down, ruffling Camilla's hair. His gaze lifted, moving over his daughter's head to meet Janessa's. Their eyes locked for a moment.

A perfect, happy family of three.

Christoper was the outsider. An intruder who hadn't even been noticed.

Her chest ached for a moment, then the pain faded. Only a spreading, icy numbness remained.

Her mind began to run calculations. Assets. Liabilities. Sunk costs. Seven years of marriage reduced to a balance sheet. The result was clear. The return on this investment was negative.

She didn't watch for another second. Her hands moved on the steering wheel, her foot on the pedal. The car reversed smoothly out of the shadows and back onto the road.

No tears. No anger. Just the quiet, methodical calm of a general manager assessing a catastrophic failure. It was time to decommission the project and liquidate the assets.

Back at the estate, she parked the sedan in its designated spot. The housekeeper had silently cleared the dining table. The candles were gone. The cold food had vanished. No one asked why she hadn't eaten. In this house, her presence-and her emotions-were weightless.

She walked into the library and closed the heavy oak door. She sat in front of the large, dark screen of her desktop computer, her own blank face reflected back at her.

Her phone vibrated on the desk. A text from Edmund.

"Something came up. Will be late."

The message was timestamped 6:00 PM. It was nearly ten.

She stared at the late, perfunctory words. The last ember of warmth in her gaze died.

She turned to the computer, her fingers flying across the keyboard. She opened a new, encrypted document.

At the top of the page, she typed two words.

DIVORCE AGREEMENT.
