FORBIDDEN DESIRE Ella Jackson's life takes a turn she never anticipated when her mother suddenly announces that she is marrying a very rich businessman and drags Ella along to leave everything behind and move to Los Angeles. Such a huge adjustment to her new life proves too much for her, but that was nothing compared to the trouble that another complication brought-her new stepbrother, James Sparks. James is a billionaire, completely dominant, convincing, and carries a cold personality with a typical reputation of being controlling. Yet, underneath that hardened exterior, Ella has something that ignites a fire in him-something very wrong, something very dangerous. Right after the first glance of their eyes across the table contrived by the dining area, an undeniable crackle of charge ignites. When the long honeymoon is declared by their parents, they left left alone to Ella in the extended honeymoon with James. The fire-like restrained passion between them begins to burn out of control. However, the secret attraction has many hindrances: his obsessive ex-girlfriend, a mother who takes Ella as a threat, and the looming presence of the press, ready to feast on any scandal that could destroy James' name. And that greatest betrayal is from the past. When Ella finds out a truth about her father, a truth connecting the downfall of her family to James' father...her heart crumbles. After all, how could she ever love the son of the man who destroyed her family?
ELLA'S POV
I was in the garage sitting on one of the chairs there when I heard some steps coming in front of me. I was really hoping it was my mom and that was correct, it was her. I was certainly expecting some gift as she usually does every day, but this time I saw something else in her hand which looked far from the candy which I always go to grab from her every day.
"Mom, you didn't get anything for me today, why?" I asked with a frowning face. I didn't expect it. She came forward to me and held my hands.
"Darling, I am genuinely sorry, my dear, okay, it really skipped my mind. "I promise I won't fail it next time." "Okay, I am really, really sorry about it, but I have other good news." "Okay," it was the major reason I couldn't even remember getting anything for my darling daughter," she said. I needed to know what the good news was all about. I was curious and took interest in it.
"Okay, what could be the exciting thing that is putting this endless smile on your face? "Do you care to share the good thoughts with me?" I asked.
"Why won't I share this astonishing news with my only child?I would tell you absolutely everything is okay, but let's go into the room first," she said.
I was really surprised how she acted. Not only that, but I knew she could attach something to this envelope which she handed over to me, so my curiosity made me open it. Furthermore, I was certainly surprised as it came to my knowledge that it was a marriage invitation. My mind raced with the thought of whom the celebrant was and why mom would be so happy about it, so I read through as I read down to the card I saw my mom's full name on it, that she was getting married to one Mr. Sparks were perplexing. I needed answers to my questions, so I went to my mom for answers. "Mom, Mom", I called.
"My darling, what is it? "I know you are really curious to know everything and I would explain everything to you if you could just calm down and have a seat," she said.
"What is this envelope all about? I saw your name on it and that you are getting married to Mr. Sparks and I have heard he has one of the big companies in town, so if you explain things to me, I am lost here okay" I said.
"Okay, you can have your seat okay you can't stand while I am talking okay" she said. I calmed myself down and listened to her and gently sat down beside her.
"Okay, I am calm now, so can I at this moment get what I want, mom" I said?
"Okay my darling daughter" (hm mm) she sighs.
"You know we still can't continue with this life. We can't do it okay, so I think this is my best opportunity to leave this poverty life. Okay my dear, I know you are also of this life. That's why I wanted to get rid of it immediately, my dear, you can achieve your dream through your stepfather. Okay, he is a really rich man. Okay, I think you would love him if you started to know him. Okay, he is a loving dad, my dear. You and I know that we can't continue with this challenging situation. Okay, this is the best opportunity I have to get rid of it. I know you can't cope with it, but we have to stop it. He proposed to me and I had to agree to "if this is the engagement ring". She brought her hand forward to me for me to see it clearly.
"I think we should both get to living a luxurious life. Okay my dear, we will be moving in to his home tomorrow. I mean our new home is okay, and he also has a son who you can get along with. "Okay," they are perfect people. "You have absolutely nothing to worry about, okay you are." "I'm in good hands", so there is absolutely nothing to make you think otherwise of this okay," she said.
"Mom, is his son or is he my age?" I asked.
"He hasn't introduced him to me". "We will all meet tomorrow", okay, but why do you ask if there is anything you can share with me okay, she said?
"There is no problem, I just wanted to know because I really don't need anyone to intimidate me when I get there," I said.
"So I think with your words you accept moving to our new home" she said and j nodded in a sign of agreement to what she said. Then she smiled at me and came to me and kissed me as usual on my forehead.
"So I would go to the kitchen to make you your favorite". "Okay, I would make it so special," she said.
She left me alone in the living room. I sighed and heard someone imagine how I would leave with my new family. How everything would be. I imagined endlessly, but I had no idea about how my new home would be and how my new family would be to me, but I only required a good family like the way my mother treated me, but I had to skip the thought and focus on my studies and the assignment I was given in class? I stood alone in the living room, and it was tedious for me, so I left there and went to the kitchen to meet my mom, who was making my special meal for me to eat for dinner.

“Do I want a taste?” his voice deeper than he had ever spoken. His eyes pinned on me like I was the only thing that fascinated him. “What do I do?” I thought to myself as he moved closer to me, I wanted to run away, to resist him but I was pinned to the wall by him. “Gosh I hate this man so much” his scent, his body, his beautiful green eyes, he was driving me crazy. I know this is wrong, he has a fiancee and all but that makes me want him even more. “Get on the bed and spread your legs” his cold voice woke me up and then I remembered I was just a maid to him. “Yes master”.
"Lucien, let's get a divorce," I said in a peremptory tone that was long overdue, the most decisive farewell to this absurd marriage. We had been married for exactly three years-three years that, for me, were filled with nothing but endless loneliness and torment. For three years, the husband who should have stood by my side through every storm, Lucien Sullivan, had completely disappeared from my life as if he had never existed. He vanished without a trace, leaving me alone to endure this empty, desolate marriage. Today, I finally received his message: "I'm back. Come pick me up at the airport." When I read his words, my heart leapt with joy, and I raced to the airport, thinking that he finally understood my love and was coming back to me. But his cruelty was far worse than I could have ever imagined-he was accompanied by a pregnant woman, and that woman was Carla, my closest and most trusted friend. In that moment, all of my previous excitement, all my hope, and all of our shared laughter and tears turned into the sharpest of daggers, stabbing into my heart and leaving me gasping for air. Now, all I want is to escape from this place that has left me so broken-to lick my wounds in solitude. Even if these wounds will remain with me for the rest of my life, I refuse to have anything to do with him ever again. He should know that it was his own hand that trampled our love underfoot, that his coldness and betrayal created this irreparable situation. But when he heard those words, he desperately clung to this broken, crumbling marriage, unwilling to let it end-almost as though doing so could rewind time and return everything to how it used to be. "Aurora, come back. I regret everything!" Regret? Those simple words stirred no emotion in me-only endless sadness and fury. My heart let out a frantic, desperate scream: It's too late for any of this!
