Intertwined Fate

Dax's POV

The cold was about freezing me when I entered the inn, I saw my men celebrating their victory, they stopped chattering and they all fixed their gaze on me, I stood with pride as I adjusted my fluffy coat to hold my waist. They all kept quiet waiting for me to say something,

“Uhm Uhm” I cleared my throat and then I voiced with pride,

“Gentlemen, Today we are gathered here to celebrate our victory?” I said and they all hailed me as they whistle and yell in satisfaction. I took a silver cup that was half filled with wine, I hit it slightly with my sharp claws to control the noise and bring them to order.

As soon as they heard my gesture they all calmed and fixed their gaze on me again, wanting me to hear what I had to say, I raised the silver cup.

“Cheers and drink to your satisfaction” I screamed and my voice echoed across the room, they all shouted once more. I smiled and sat on the wooden chair in their midst. I watched them as they all drank and chatted amongst themselves. I gulped the whole wine at once and belched.

“More drink please” I ordered, while I was waiting for more wine to be brought to my table, I saw some whore in the dark part of the room sucking some of my men's dicks, I grinned as I enjoyed the scene. One of my men interrupted,

“Your majesty, I think you are enjoying what you are seeing?” He said as he chuckled.

“Of course," I said as I pointed toward a particular whore that was busy riding one of my men,

“See that whore over there she’s very good” I grinned.

“Do you want her?” He asked.

“No I’m good” I replied. Soon bottle of wine was brought to the round wooden table and my cup was filled to the brim this time.

“Do you mind joining me? I asked him but he declined and left immediately. I smiled and sipped the wine.

Dmitri’s POV

I was walking along the narrow street when I noticed it was empty, it wasn't as busy as it used to be before I was baffled.

“What is going on here?” I asked myself. As I paced further I saw two ladies discussing but they were as carefully looking around, from their actions, one could easily tell that they were not safe. I stood in the distance eavesdropping on their conversation because I knew I couldn't go nearer, I would scare them away with my appearance. So I thought it best to stay in the corner where I can use my special ability to hear her.

I stretch my ear to receive the wave coming from them,

“I am very scared lately as the lycans are enslaving the weak ones," The first lady said.

"Not only the weak ones but also werewolves and other kinds. I heard he sells them off and makes a profit from it” The other lady spilled.

I was surprised to hear this,

“Can this be true?” I asked myself. I was about to walk away when a rat ran through the wall of the street, immediately I grabbed the rat by the neck with my claws. The ladies noticed a sound and they both stared in my direction to check whatever made the sound, but I left immediately.

I got back to the cattle, I was disturbed and concerned about what I heard so I called my pack to discuss the Lycan's action and they all gathered in the hall. I stood with confidence and I voiced,

“There is something important I want to share with you all," I said in my masculine voice, they all sat around the long table in the hall. I proceeded,

“I think the Lycan's…” I paused as I counted my pack members one after the other then I noticed Joe wasn’t present so I asked about him,

“Where is Joe?” I questioned. No one was able to give a reply, so I continued in order not to waste the time.

“As I was saying, the Lycans are becoming stronger and they are taking over territories” I paused as one of my pack members coughed. I stared at him to ensure he was okay, and then I continued.

"They are a threat to mankind and our kind also, and for this reason, we are going to stand our ground to fight back," I said as I clenched my fist and slammed it on the table angrily.

"We can't let them overrule us" One of my pack members voiced and the others affirmed.

“We are going to stand our ground and fight back. The other said as he poked his sharp claws.

“I will tear them apart” He added as he demonstrated.

I looked at them and I could see their courage and selfless attitude to defend themselves. As I was about to make a statement, Joe rushed in.

“I have been looking for everyone since I came back, He said as he stared at everyone.

“What’s happening? I went to the bar and market square but it wasn’t filled with crowd as it was before.” He said but no one replied, he continued again,

“I even tried to catch a scent of werewolves but I couldn’t, and this made me concerned, He said as he finally drew one of the arranged chairs and sat on it, still everywhere was quiet as they all fixed their gaze on him.

"I need a reply or answer maybe. What is going on guys?" He asked.

I knew he was confused as I was also confused. So I decided to say something as the alpha werewolf I need to make a move first for others to follow, I need to answer the questions and provide a way out.

“The Lycan's," I said with boldness. Joe turned to me and said,

“The Lycans?” He asked
