What the heck! This famous apartment doesn't have an elevator? They said the elevator is broken, like I care. My day was already bad, and now my move-in day is ruined too! Life is just so unfair. But as soon as I started opening the door, I smelled something burning. I realized it was coming from my new place. I hurriedly opened the door fully and looked around to see where the smell was coming from. A man in the kitchen cursed. I couldn't see his face because he was facing away, busy with something. My eyes landed on what he was doing. It was burning! I quickly dropped my suitcase and rushed over to him, covering my nose from the smoke. "W-what's happening here?" I asked in a panic, still covering my nose. He turned to look at me, also covering his nose. "Who are you?" He asked in confusion, but we both stepped back as the flames grew. "Fuck! Fuck*ng fire! I hate cooking with this!" he yelled angrily, fighting the fire. I looked around for something to extinguish the fire and quickly grabbed the fire extinguisher. I used it to put out the flames. The fire was out in no time. I smiled and smirked at the sight of his burnt eggs. Seriously, he couldn't even cook eggs! He gave me a dirty look, and I tried to hold back my laughter because of his appearance, covered in the fire extinguisher foam. "Funny?" "Is everything okay in there?" "Is anyone hurt?" "We're coming in." Voices from outside shouted. I watched as my companion went to the door and opened it. "No one was hurt, everything is fine, thank you," he said quickly before closing the door. He paused and looked at my suitcase. "Ah, that's mine," I said. "No one asked." He replied coldly, shoving his hands in his pockets and walking away. He entered a room and slammed the door. I grabbed a towel from my suitcase and started wiping my face from the extinguisher foam. I couldn't help but laugh at myself and at him. Deep down, I wanted to burst out laughing at his appearance, but still, he was kind of cool, especially with his aura. I turned around when I heard someone cough behind me. It was the guy from earlier. Yeah, maybe he's my roommate. He looked down, making me curious. I glanced down to see what he was looking at. Wait, what? He's looking at my br*ast? No, maybe I'm just imagining things. "You study at H.U?" Reality hit me when I realized he was looking at my ID. I assumed too much, Farah Joy. "Yes," I replied shortly and continued wiping my face as he walked over to the fridge. I put my towel back and turned to see him standing in front of me, drinking a beer. Does he have powers? He appeared out of nowhere! "You forgot to use 'sir' when addressing me, Lady Farah." Wait, how does he know my name? I haven't even told him! And why should I call him 'sir'? Who is he? "I saw your name on your ID, woman. Don't overthink it," he said seriously before finishing his drink. I was wrong again, Farah Joy! I wanted to slap myself. "Oh, haha... haha! Right!" I said awkwardly, scratching my head. "B-but why do I need to call you 'sir'? Who are you?" I asked boldly. He frowned and suddenly laughed. Gosh, his laugh drives me crazy! I snapped back to reality when he leaned close to my ear and whispered something that made my eyes widen and almost drop my p*nty. "Well, I'm Kevin Tran." I felt his soft lips on my ear, gently biting it. He stepped back and left. "K-Kevin T-Tran? The famous professor? Gosh, my crush!" I whispered as he walked away. What kind of apartment is this? I met my crush—I mean, the most famous professor I've ever known. Sir Kevin. I have a crush on him too!! Ghoddd!!

I am here standing in front of my boyfriend's apartment, carrying gifts and food. Today is our 4th anniversary. We started dating when I was in 12th grade and he was a freshman in college. "I have to tell you something," he says. Suddenly, I feel nervous. Please, don't let it be something bad. "Let's go out tomorrow. I didn’t get a gift for today," he says, and my anxiety is replaced with happiness. "Okay, love!" I say cheerfully. "For today, I want you to go home and rest. Let's meet tomorrow. I want to be alone," he says, which hurts my heart again. I stand up slowly. "O-okay, love," I say, and as I am about to leave, he suddenly hugs me from behind. "Happy anniversary, take care," he says and kisses my cheek before letting go. I smile and leave his apartment. Author's POV After his girlfriend leaves, his father suddenly calls. Before answering, he sighs deeply. [When is your flight?] "Monday," he coldly replies. [You better be ready. Remember what your mom said to you before she died.] "I remember that. You don't need to say it," he says in a very cold voice. Even though I know I won't live long, I know you will fulfill my wish. I want you to be known by everyone because I know I have lacked so much for you. The only problem is his girlfriend, who is still in the Philippines. Carmella's POV I woke up early because I am so excited about today! We're going out, ahhh!! It's Sunday, so no classes,! I am happily waiting for my boyfriend outside the apartment I share with my sibling. I'm wearing a white dress that goes to my knees. It’s a formal dress with short sleeves and a V-neck. I'm also wearing a silver necklace he gave me on our first anniversary. After a while, a car stops in front of me. I smile as he gets out and opens the door for me. Three black cars were chasing a taxi. The taxi driver tried to speed up despite knowing it was dangerous. Other vehicles complained about their speed due to their sudden overtakes. I could also sense the driver’s fear. After all, he got involved because of me! This is my fault! Moments later, we heard another gunshot, and this time, it hit some part of the taxi, causing it to swerve. “They shot the tire!” shouted the driver, desperately trying to brake. The taxi spun around, and I clung tightly to the side of the car. The noise of the car tires skidding was deafening as the driver tried to bring the car to a halt.

"Good morning, Elle!" Eri greeted me promptly. "Morning," I mumbled shortly and sat in my chair. He really annoys me! Well, if you're asking who I’m referring to, it's just my cold, ungentlemanly husband. Hmp, he's lucky I love him. I asked irritably, but she just rolled her eyes at me. "We’ve been calling you for a while, but it looks like you’re busy daydreaming," Eri said, moving closer to Xyra, who was still busy on her phone and smiling. I just pouted and said sorry. "Why are you spacing out? Is there a problem?" Cia asked. I just shook my head and nudged Xyra. "What?" she asked in confusion, seemingly unaware of what was happening around her. "Ouch! Damn," she complained when Cia smacked her on the head, glaring at her. They ended up chasing each other like children. Eri and I just shook our heads.

"Okay class! That's all for today! Goodbye," said our professor as he gathered his things. I quickly tidied up Jay's stuff. Yes, I know his name—it's Jay. I put the tissue in his bag; he can throw it away later. He adjusted his pants. As soon as the professor left, our classmates stood up, and Jay quickly stood and pulled me outside. He seemed eager. Hahaha. He took me to the girls' restroom. Luckily, no one was inside, so we could enter freely. I pulled him into the farthest cubicle and quickly shut the door. He pinned me against the wall and kissed me hungrily. I returned his kiss, feeling his hand slowly glide up to my chest. "Hmp!" I moaned when he squeezed one of them. He moved quickly and urgently, so I broke away from his kiss. "Easy, babe. Relax!" I said, laughing as I stroked his arm to calm him down. He laughed at himself too. "I want you," he said huskily, lust and hunger visible in his eyes. I smiled at him and pulled his neck for another passionate kiss. His hands roamed my chest and butt. Our kiss was interrupted by my phone ringing. I pushed him away to see who was calling. It was Reign, my best friend and classmate. "What?" I answered.
