Ding, ding, ding!
Glancing at the cell phone that was ringing, Christine looked down at her watch. It was just lunch time.
She put down the paper and gently clicked the answer button.
"Hello~"
When Evan heard Christine's unhurried voice, the anger that he controlled before rushed directly to his mind and burst out as if a volcano erupted violently.
He was much angrier this time.
"Christine, you ingrate! Get your ass home quickly! Apologize to your sister now!"
Evan roared with rage. Christine also heard a sharp screech of kicking a wooden bench from the other end of the phone.
"Dad, why do I have to go home and apologize to her? I'm accompanying my husband at the office now."
Christine took up a glass of warm water and tasted it slowly.
Evan was as mad as hell, but he curbed his anger. "You still have the nerve to ask! How did you make a false charge against your sister at the press conference of the Brooks today? You're going to issue an announcement online right now!"
"Daddy, anything I said was wrong?"
