ORALIYA
"Run Oraliya, run!" My father's voice echoed in my head, wanting me to stop, but I couldn't.
My claws blur as I run through the woods as far as my legs can carry me.
Tears rolled down my cheeks as I thought about everything we had left behind.
Our pack, our home, our friends. It was all taken by my mother's so-called friend, Jolia John. She'd always been jealous of my mother's power, status, and even her husband, who is my dad.
I left so many things behind. Damn! I am nothing but a coward! Maybe my father was wrong about me. I'm more useless and worthless than he, an omega!
I stopped and looked back at my father, who was trying his hardest to catch up with me. I noticed his thick sweat, but we were too desperate to get away at the moment.
I felt a hot sensation in my stomach, but I had to ignore it. We were currently in a dangerous situation, hearing the chants of our guards pack behind us, hunting for us at the request of my mother's friend Jolia John.
She has been my mother's friend since childhood and has always supported her with everything she does.
Suddenly, everything changed when my mother met my father; she fell in love with my father and purposely agreed to follow my mother when she was sent out of her family.
My mother, Esther Scarlett, had been a powerful wolf, feared and respected by all. She looked for power everywhere after being called weak by her own family.
No one could dare to face her then, as she was a fierce wolf. She died the night I was born, leaving my father to raise me on his own.
Jolia sees this as an opportunity to marry my father and take her friend's place. My father declined as he is loyal and loves his wife, even though she is dead.
"Oraliya," my father shouted, alarming me, turning to an abandoned castle behind a tree.
Carrying my feet towards the small house, watching my dad shove his elbow through a painted piece of glass, it shatters in front of him, but he doesn't retreat, he ushers me in.
We climbed through the broken window, the glass scraping my legs, but that was the least of my worries.
My dad fell behind, letting out his breath as if we had escaped through the guards of our wolf pack. No one talks, attempting to calm our breath from how heavy it was before.
"Oraliya, are you okay?" my dad asked as he examined me. "Oraliya, you have gone incredibly pale."
My heavy eyes looked up to him, "What do you expect?" I spit out angrily, "She just sent us out of the pack without having any place to go. Only God knows what will happen to us now!"
He blinked at my sudden outburst, but before he could respond, a wave of excruciating pain ran over my body, my mouth open to scream, but I fell down onto my back.
"Oraliya, stand up." My dad clasps my face between his hands. "What is wrong?"
My ears are blocked, I couldn't hear anything, I hate Jolia John for doing this to us. I will do anything to live, look for my mate, and come back for revenge!
My dad called me once more then I passed away.
"Wake up! Wake up now or we kill your father," a thick voice said loudly, shaking the leaves on the tree.
I jumped to my feet, hearing my dad, my eyes opened, and I went straight to my dad
"Where did this one think she was going?" A voice mocks around me
Damn! It was an old man from Alpha Damien's pack and two of his men. We are close to his pack, and he is known for his powerful and ruthless judgment of anyone roaming around his pack.
Like I said, I am not a strong wolf in our pack. My parents made a mistake, I wasn't who they thought I was. I couldn't fight or run away from these men. What can I do? I have to save my dad.
"Steph, come over here," another voice mutters, pulling me back to the mundane world. Stephen Colbert is the gamma of their pack, third in command.
They have beta too, Gideon Godwin, second in command, he is said to be nice, while Stephen Colbert took after their ruthless Alpha, Damien Matthew.
"Fear the heavens, Steph! My father has done nothing wrong! Tears drop down as I utter this statement
I continued," Just set him free, and we will go far away from your pack."
"And why should we do that? No one dares to move around our territory! The old man spat out.
"We were chased out by our pack, we are only resting here, we mean no harm." Raising my voice with anger, I looked at my dad, and he signaled me to calm down.
"Carry them now!" says the man, ignoring my plea. Stephen carried my dad, and the other man carried me.
"You wicked man, why can't you just leave us alone! You and your wicked alpha, looking for weak wolves to prey on, I said loudly, beating the back of the man who carried me.
"Shut up your mouth," Stephen yelled at me.
The man smiles towards me, a sympathetic smile, "My dear, you are not going anywhere."
My eyes leveled with his, and I imagined wiping his head off as a strong sensation built up in my body. My time would come to get back at these assholes for running my plans.
My wolf kept her canines in my wound, keeping in place as we were carried to their pack house.
My eyes looked up at the large, gloomy house before me, feeling a pit of frustration in my stomach. We needed to get out of here.
A cellar door was pushed open and I was thrown on the edge without giving me a chance to take my first step. My father was taken to another cell.
"Don't harm my father if you don't want to see the red side of me," I yelled at Stephen, who carried him.
Before I could have the chance to get up from the dusty floor, my body was grabbed and thrown into a chair, tied up with silver laces.
My skin sizzled against the silver, and tears rolled down my cheek from the pain, but I ignored it. The man from the forest shut the door and locked it, tossing the keys in his hands like a prized possession.
"The Alpha will be down soon, he will decide what to do with you." He smiles towards me before turning the corner and starting to step up the stairs.
The wolf in me wanted to scream, I calmed it, saving the strength to face the ruthless Alpha.
