Prologue
Fateful night
Donald's POV
I stepped into Josephine's beautiful and neat apartment. Happy and excited to see the only lady that meant the whole world to me. My love for her irreplaceable. She's stood by me, through thick and thin, our bond strengthening amidst rejection and hatred.
Staring at her, I smiled. while the soft candle light illuminated across her face, glowing her beauty. Her sweet scent enveloping the whole room.
"Hey love," I said, moving close to her.
"Hey Handsome," She replied blushing.
" Come and give me a hug," I said in a cool manner.
She stood up while I pulled her close, giving each other a warm hug that lasted for a while never wanting to let each other go. Her warm hug was soothing.
We turned, staring at each other's eyes, her eyes so charming and tormenting. Her eyes could make anyone devour her erotically without proper permission. But I had nothing to worry about, cause she was all mine.
Our lips collided, igniting sparks of hunger that wouldn't stop. We savored each kiss. Her finger trace my jaw sending shivers down my spine as we continued kissing. My hand explored her soft ass, smooth back and her pointed breast gently. This time, the intensity of her passion increased. She kissed me more passionately and faster, with her eyes barely open, and her heart racing faster as she gave light moans. At this point I could tell her body wanted more.
I pushed her slowly to the bed, kissing her more. Josephine's skin glowed in the dim light. I trail kisses down her neck, her shoulder, her breast. She arched. Her soft moans fueled my desire. I explored her tits more this time, touching and sucking it in a passionate way. With her moans becoming lighter and asking for more. I kissed her upper body down to her navel, where she screamed out In pleasure. I opened her thighs slightly in a slow way. My lips brushed her two fleshy lips down there. I licked it, with my tongue roaming her clitoris while her eyes rolled and her mouth slowly opened, bringing out louder moans this time. She opened her legs wider showing it was time to envelope her completely. I slowly slid my hard cock inside of her, she screamed immediately with excitement and pleasure gripping me tight, her body trembling while caressing my upper body.
As we made love, our bodies moved in perfect harmony. Every thrust, every tender caress until she moaned in satisfaction.
Afterwards, we lay beside each other. Josephine's head on my chest. As Our hearts beat synchronized.
She looked at me smiling and said
" You're my everything, Donald," She whispered.
"I am yours my love," I said chuckling.
We were wrapped in each other's arms hoping that this beautiful moment never ends.
We stared and smiled at each other. Her sparkling eyes kept me staring.
"Let's take a shower together," she whispered.
"I'll love to take a shower with you my love," I said.
We savored every moment, water cascaded down our bodies, our love blooming more.
As we dressed, Josephine's mood changed.
"Promise me, Donald. That no matter what happens, you'd always be mine."
She sounded disturbed
" What's bothering you, Josephine," I asked.
" You know that everyone is against us, Josephine's eyes clouded with tears.
just having a feeling like fate watching us , waiting to tear and separate us."
"Don't worry about it, I promise that nothing will separate our love." I reassured, holding her tight as we shared a tender kiss.
"I have to go," I said.
She held me with concern, "No don't go," she said. "You can stay over tonight."
"No, I can't stay tonight, my lady. You know I have a project to finish up tonight for tomorrow and I only wish I brought it here; I was rushing to come see you on time."
" I'll have to go my love, I'll see you tomorrow in school okay?," I said.
She looked worried, but I had to go.
" Is it possible to try and stay tonight? I'm a bit worried because it's already getting dark." She said in a low voice.
" I have to start going, my love," I said, giving her a warm hug and a forehead kiss.
As I left Josephine's apartment a sense of unease settled within me. Sound of birds chirping, the city streets dimly lit and shadows lurking.
As I walked through the streets, I kept wishing to get home soon, maybe even fly home if it was possible. I've never been a night walker, but I had to do it for my love.
Suddenly a figure emerged and fear gripped me. Trying to figure out who it was, I saw two others coming closer to where I was.
At this moment, I was surrounded by three men.
The first figure came closer and it was ken.
I was shocked to see him by that time and I perceived danger.
"Donald," he called out furiously.
Our eyes locked, malice and hatred radiating from his eyes.
"You think you've won, you think you've really gotten her all to yourself, but you'll never truly have her," ken said
"Josephine will never be yours," I replied.
"Well I'm here to stop you from having her," he said.
Fear gripped me but I stood my ground.
" Nothing can separate me and Josephine except we decide to," I said.
Ken gave me a blow on my face unexpectedly.
I staggered, struggled to get my balance and returned the blow in a hard way that made him fall.
He instructed the two men he came along with to beat me up. They beat me up mercilessly leaving me with bruises while trying to defend myself.
He ordered them to stop when I became weak while he slowly removed a knife from his back pocket.
I was slowly losing breath and coughing out blood.
Immediately, I struggled to stand up and run but the two men stopped me from escaping.
I had no option but to man up and defend myself from being killed.
I grabbed Ken's wrist.
"Let go, ken. This isn't worth it," I stuttered.
But Ken's mind seemed made up.
I struggled, our bodies entwined.
" Josephine loves me, not you. Even if you get to kill me she will never love you, so let go" I said.
Ken's face got more furious.
"You'll pay," he growled.
I pushed Ken away from coming close to me, but he drew closer.
The knife sliced through the air, I dodged.
Ken's eyes widened with determination.
"You should have stayed far away from her," he spat.
The knife flashed again.
This time I wasn't quick enough and it caught up with my back. He gave me a cut before I could escape his blade.
I immediately screamed in pain, and held my wound begging him to stop it.
"Ken please don't do this,"
He laughed out loud and said, "Today is your last day, Donald. You would have stayed away."
Staggering and trying to escape while holding my cut from bleeding.
He came closer and pierced the knife through my stomach.
I fell to the ground immediately.
Everything blurred.
" Farewell Donald," he said, laughing and leaving me to die with his men.
As life slipped away, I thought of Josephine. Our laughter ,tears ,joy and my promise to protect and never leave her.
"No!!!! this can't be happening. I said gasping for breath and strength to live.
Regret flooded my mind. "Why didn't I stay with her ,why did I leave," I thought.
Her words echoing in my head. " I have a feeling that Fates watching us to separate us"
" Josephine my love, I wish you will forgive me for this."
My vision blurred, darkness closing in. I felt myself pulling away from her, from life.
I struggled until I blacked out.
