TINA POV
This time I was damn sure of myself, Drayton is nothing but a cheater! I was fuming and pacing to and fro with my fist clenched tightly in my room, not able to pull my emotions together, I bit my lips bitterly as my eyes suddenly became filled with tears.
I let the tears trickled down my face slowly as I thought of all the years I have spent with that pervert. I shifted my gaze and it rested on the white shirt on the bed, there was a conspicuous red lip mark on the neck line and a string of blonde coloured hair hanging on the button of collar shirt. This is hopeless, I thought he had changed, I was nothing but a fool.
I stood up from the bed and glided across the room to my wardrobe, taking out a document from the top drawer I opened and skimmed through it. Scripted bodly the outline clearly stated I was two months gone, I was pregnant. My limbs went weak as my thoughts caused a whirlwind in my head. Three days ago I had found out I was pregnant, pregnant for Drayton, do you know how wonderful that felt?
I could finally give him an Heir, after waiting for so many years,my prayers were finally answered. I wanted to surprise him on our anniversary night, which was two days from now, but after seeing the lip mark on his shirt while folding up his clothes my mood was absolutely ruined.
Reaching out for my bag on the bed I dashed out of the room quickly as a thought just zoomed through my head. Maybe I was wrong, maybe I was just jumping into conclusions, it could be that this is all just a misunderstanding. I needed answers and in other to get them I needed to find Drayton and there was only one place where he would be, his office.
The maids saw me buzzing out but I was in a rush and I was in no mood to entertain any questions. I made my way into the garage and glided into one of the cars, I was careful not to invite any suspicion. I turned off my phone location, this was one of the way Drayton used to track all of my movement. This time I was going to catch him unaware, I want the truth, nothing but the truth.
Igniting the engine I made my way to Draytons office, I had mixed emotions all the way, I really hoped I was wrong. For some reason I just didn't want to believe that Drayton could do this. The tyres of the car screeched at "Dalightons runway limited." This was the company that Drayton owned.
I stepped out of the car, sucking in some breath. I walked into the building elegantly. This was my first time coming to his office. Drayton had strictly warned me multiple times never to come to his office especially during working hours, but this time I was bent on bending the rules. I made my way to the receptionist table to ask for directions. The brown coloured hair lady had a gloomy face but still managed to faked a smile.
"Welcome to Dalightons runway limited, how may I help you." She recited the words like some kind of script she was used to. I asked for directions to Drayton's office and immediately the countenance of her face changed. "Do you have an appointment with him? She asked taking out a document and scrolling through it.
"Do I need an appointment to see my husband? I asked and immediately she shifted her gaze from the document she was skimming through to me, her gaze read amusement. "Oh dear! She squeaked. "My apologies Mrs Anderson." She said closing the file, but it was too late I already hated her personality, was this the kind of people Drayton employed. Hearing her calling me Mrs Anderson made me cringe, I couldn't shake off that the chilly feeling overwhelming me.
"Take a left, then take the elevator to the top floor." She said explaining the way to Drayton's office. I managed to mutter a thank you and turned to leave but just before I turned I could have sworn I saw her smirk. I made my way to the elevator and soon found my myself at the top floor of the building. Stepping out of the elevator, my gaze fell on a door just across the hallway, it was at the extreme end of the hall way.
I was sure that was Drayton's office, I slowly made my way to the door as my heels clicked on the tiled floor, which was so shinny that I could almost see my reflection on it. At least the janitors he employed, were doing their jobs. I could hear sounds coming from the room, at first I thought I was just hearing things but then I strained my ears and picked up some sound.
"Drayyyton! The sonorous voice moaned. I frozed on my tracks, my heart missed a beat as I slowed down my pace. I could hear erotic moaning come from Drayton's office! My legs suddenly became weak as I dragged them along the tiled floor until I got to the door. I stealthily placed my ear on the door, and suddenly everything they were saying became more audible.
"Get married to me Drayton." The voice purred seductively. "That bag of thrash you call a wife can't give you a child, I am sure she is not as good as I am on bed." The voice said and I waited patiently for what Drayton would say, hoping in my heart that he would counter her words rashly, or even get her fired for saying such a outrageous thing but I was wrong.
"You are right she is not as good as you are on bed, that is why I chose you over her." Immediately he said that my head exploded like a volcano, I felt the anger in me boil like hot larvae and immediately I nudged the door open abrasively, and it slammed the wall. The first thing my gaze met was a woman jumping off Draytons leg and quickly buttoning up her shirt. I felt disgusted, I could recognize the colour of the lip stick she wore, it was the same as the lip mark on the shirt that I had found in my room that belonged to Drayton.
The colour of her hair also convinced me she was the woman having an affair with my husband. She was a Blondie, just the same colour of hair I had found on Drayton's shirt. At this point I felt used, all this time Drayton had been sweet talking me and sugar coating his words, he promised me he would never cheat on me, but clearly I was a fool to had believe him.
I felt hot tears clouding my eyes as she fixed my gaze at Drayton who was sitted on a executive chair, glaring at me with shock. "Tina? What are you doing here? He asked rising up from his chair and adjusting his sleeves.
By now the lady was done dressing up properly, and she simply walked out of the room proudly, she hummed and smirked as she cat walked out of the room but not before purposely bumping into me by the shoulder.
I ignored her and fixed my gaze on Drayton. "Tina it's not what you think.....", he didn't finish his sentence before my hand kissed his cheek, as I slammed a painful slap across his face. His face snapped away due to the impact of the slap, he shot a deadly glare at me as his eyes suddenly became bloodshot. "How dare you raise your hand at me? He roared and a feeling of fear washed over me.
It was like I didn't know him anymore, I straightened up as the tears I had been fighting back suddenly trickled down my face. "You cheater! I screamed my lungs out, almost choking in between my tears. But Drayton scoffed, "You should be happy that I am still married to you." He said entwining his lean fingers on my neck, he pinned me against the wall.
"You think I would allow you to drag my name to the mud, you refused to give me an heir and now you are acting cocky, you ungrateful bitch." He shrilled. He applied pressure to my neck, and I was almost out of breath, I tried to inhale sharply but it was futile. "Drayton.....let go, you are hurting me." A tear dropped as I pleaded breathlessly.
He finally released his grip on my neck and I slumped on the ground trying to gasp for breath. Don't you ever raise your hand at me again Tina, or else...." He didn't complete his sentence before turning and walking towards a cabinet in his office, he rummage through some files, while I curled up at a corner trying to suck in as many air as possible. I could feel my head spinning, as I suddenly felt my strength slowly emasculating.
He walked up to me holding a document in his hand. He then flung the document at my face, I picked the document up with my shaky fingers as unknown fear gripped me. Slowly raising my gaze, my lips trembled as I dared to ask, "What is this? His lips broke into a cunning smirk as he chorused audibly.
