only Hari had known that the blind date she went on, on behalf of her best friend, would entangle her for life. Jane was stubborn and refused to go on a blind date with a stranger. To free herself from her father's pressure, she paid her best friend, Hari, to go on her behalf. Hari was shocked to see that her date was none other than her company's president. She did everything she could think of to push him away, but he was determined to marry her. If only he knew that she was his employee.
A young man, around 30, was seen walking through the airport. He was handsome, tall, and carried himself with elegance. Each of his steps exuded wealth and confidence. Everyone in the airport couldn't take their eyes off him, especially the women, who gawked and drooled over his striking appearance. They stood still, staring at him with dreamy expressions, their eyes brimming with admiration.
Just then, a lady bumped into him, causing her coffee to spill all over the place. She was about to yell at him, but the words got caught in her throat the moment she saw his face. Her mouth fell open, and she was momentarily speechless-his beauty captivated her.
"Uh..." she stuttered, unsure of what to say. "I'm sorry. Are you hurt?" she asked hesitantly.
"Stupid," he muttered before walking away.
The lady gasped, about to respond when his secretary approached her.
"I'm sorry, miss," the secretary apologized on his behalf, leaving the woman speechless. She couldn't believe how attractive they both were.
"You're already in the country. Stop being a nuisance," Jace, his secretary, scolded him.
"They're weirdos. Didn't you see how they were staring at me? I almost tripped," Harry sighed.
"Blame it on your looks."
"My looks, huh? I look normal. Aren't you cute too? Look at those adorable little eyes of yours, those pink lips, and that sharp face shape. Why is it only me?"
"Wait... excuse me? Don't describe me like that! I'm not gay," Jace said, giving him a suspicious look.
"And you think I am?" Harry shot him a glare. "Let's get out of here quickly. I need to rest my head," he muttered, walking even faster.
---
A young woman stood in what appeared to be a kitchen, her hands moving swiftly as she mixed ingredients with a huge smile on her face.
"Hey, Hari! It's time already. What are you still doing?" her colleague, Kyla, called out, peeking into the kitchen.
"I'm almost done," Hari responded.
"We're leaving now! The new company president is being introduced today. If I don't see him now, I don't know when I will," Kyla said, heading toward the door. "Be quick, Hari," she whispered before running off.
"Where is she?" their team leader, Nora, asked Kyla.
"Probably on her way. Let's go."
"I'm here!" Hari came running over.
"Are you done?" Nora asked, wrinkling her nose. "What's that smell?"
"It's Hari. She didn't wash off that fishy smell from work. You should have showered first," Kyla teased.
"Well..."
"Don't worry, it's not too bad. We're already late, just stay far away from me. Thanks," Nora smiled, and they walked out together.
---
"...With that, let's welcome the new company president-HARRY KANG!!!" the announcer said, and the room erupted in applause as everyone stood up.
"Chairman, you must be happy that your grandson is finally taking over as president. This has always been your dream," Mr. Dave whispered to the chairman.
"Of course, of course," the old man chuckled, clapping proudly.
The room fell silent as Jace walked up to the podium. The chairman's smile faded into a frown.
"Hello, everyone. I am not President Harry. I am his secretary. He couldn't make it today, so he sent me in his place," Jace announced, scanning the crowded hall. Murmurs and whispers filled the air.
"Harry is doing well, and he sends his regards. Thank you all for attending this small event," he added before bowing and stepping down.
"Eiiiii, this little brat!" Mr. Kang fumed, stomping out of the hall in pursuit of Jace.
"Hey, you!" he shouted, pointing at Jace before quickly lowering his hand. "Where is Harry?" he demanded furiously.
"Good afternoon, Mr. Kang. Harry is in his office. He had a lot of work to do," Jace responded calmly.
"Cut the crap and take me to him!" the old man snapped.
Jace bowed slightly and led the way, with the chairman following closely behind.
---
"Jace, how did it go? Was Grandpa angry?" Harry asked without looking up from his laptop as the door opened. After receiving no response, he turned around-only to see his grandfather raising a hand, ready to smack him. But Harry was quick to dodge and took a few steps back.
"Grandfather?!" Harry exclaimed in surprise. Then, lowering his voice, he muttered to Jace, "Why did you bring him here?" He shot his secretary a glare.
"Why would he need to bring me here? This is my company, and I know every corner of this building! This used to be my office, remember?"
"Oh yeah, I get it now. I'm sorry, but I have a lot of work to do," Harry drawled, slipping his hands into his pockets.
"What's with you? It's always work, work, work! You've been here for barely two hours, and you already have a pile of work? I was expecting a daughter-in-law from you, but instead, you're buried in work!" Mr. Kang shouted, pointing at him furiously.
"A daughter-in-law? Seriously? Do I look old?" Harry scoffed, turning to Jace for support.
Jace chuckled. "Mr. Kang, Harry is still young. He has plenty of time to get married. I suggest you let him be."
Harry nodded in agreement, flashing a slight smile.
"He's young, huh? And what about me? Do you think I'm young? Don't you want me to see my great-grandchildren?" Mr. Kang huffed.
"Don't worry, sir. He'll settle down in no time. Just give him a little space. He just got back after so many years-let him adjust first," Jace reasoned.
Harry grinned and gave Jace a thumbs-up.
"Oh? So now you're encouraging him to delay marriage? Wait a minute... Are you two gay?" Mr. Kang asked, narrowing his eyes at them suspiciously.
