Walking Shoes

It's in the 18 A.D in a city called ganga, a young lady named christabel found something astonishing, a pair of walking shoes in her vesenity. These shoes were once belonged to her great-grand mother.

At first christabel was dumb founded when she saw a pair of shoes walking without anyone putting it on, the shoes could move at will as if it were being controlled by an invisible being.

Christabel sighting the scenery became quiet curious and timid as well, the shoes were mouth pointed in a curved manner, the soles were made with spring, it had some feathers attached to it which was purposed for flying, black in color, the shoes are something out of this world.

Christabel being curious made an attempt to put on the walking shoes, the young lady was quite nervous as she putted on the shoes she became more powerful and all of a sudden the lady got a super natural ability which enabled her to transport to any location in the world and universe, she could move forward and backward in time.

The walking shoes made christabel to start reliving and revealing memories from her great-grand mother's life, she saw activities and events which had happened when she was not yet born, as she relived her great-grand mother's life day by day she found out that her family linage were made up of socerers. Christabel also had an encounter with a young man named josh, he had just lost everything, his job, his girlfriend, his family and friends so he decided to saddle his way across his country to the city of ganga to clear his mind. Guess what?

Josh had his own pair of walking shoes which was his only trusted companion at the moment, let's say christabel and josh has something in common about walking shoes. The two shared their experiences and encounters about their walking shoes with each other, at first the mystical events seemed unreal not until christabel left josh indoors in her house and went into a cottage at her backyard to prepare a meal for her guest, on reaching there a bright light shined on her and the entire cottage was filled with midst. It was christabel's great-grand mother who had long kicked the bucket, her great-grand mother's name was henrietta.

Christabel got afraid and surprised at the sight of her great-grand mother, She bursted "great-grand mother! are you still alive?, you're dead and have been buried". Keep calm my daughter christabel's great-grand mother said, christabel was shivering and amazed at what was unveiling.

Christabel great-grand mother said to her "you have been chosen by our ancient fathers to serve and posess the spirit of the walking shoes, you have been ordained to be the next socerer of our linage and you shall pass on the powers which you've been gifted with to your upspring!" as christabel tried to question her great-grand mother she vanished into the air.

Josh who was worried indoors dashed out of the house to sought for christabel's where about, as he reached the backyard he heard someone panting hard, he traced the voice to the cottage where christabel was. He opened the doors and saw christabel panting, josh rushed to her and pulled her up from the floor and asked "What happened to you christabel?". the young lady was speechless, then josh quickly took her indoors to have her get a relief.

Josh asked her again, christabel what happened to you out there?. It's my great-grand mother christabel said, what is it about your great-grand mother? josh responded. christabel started narrating her encounter, josh my great-grand mother had died a long time ago, i can't tell if i'm hallucinating or my imagination is being beaten upon, she appeared to me and the whole cottage was filled with midst, christabel took a deep breath then continued. She told me i have been chosen by my fore-fathers to serve and posess the spirit of the walking shoes and i would pass on the powers given to me to my offspring.

What!!! josh gasped out, that was her ghost and about your encounter about the walking shoes and your hallucination of your great-grand mother's past i think you are reliving her history, yeah i see it christabel muttered.

After a couple of days christabel recovered from the shock which she was impacted with as a result of her encounter with her great-grand mother, christabel never got a clue of what she would do with her abilities. Would she evolve into a good socerer or a evil socerer? Christabel pondered and gave it a thought on the purpose of her abilities, she came up with a great purpose. She was going to protect the city of ganga from calamities and evil.

Christabel and josh had a long tidious day and it's now dawn, the both had dinner and went to bed. Christabel had a mystical dream, it felt very real. She found her self in a thick forest it was so magical, while she took a walk in the forest she heard the chirping of birds, the howling of wolves and the singing of owls. She also found something that triggered her attention, a magical cave. She walked into the cave as curious as she had always been, she met an old man strickingly in age he had a long white beard and a walking stick at hand, the old man called her by name "Christabel welcome to the den of mystery" we have been waiting for this day, you were bothered about your great-grand mother, the walking shoes, the outcome of your destiny and what would be the use of your abilities. Christabel was staring at the old man and could'nt utter a single word, the old man said to her "you made the right choice to protect the city of ganga with with your powers and abilities", christabel woke up from her dream panting. Now she had finally gotten the clue she needed, her destiny has been revealed to her at last.

The young socerer shared her dream with josh and he was amazed, christabel began to practice her spells and magic words for perfection. She read magic books and attended mystic classes along with other socerers, in the long run she got better with her gift and abilities. She knew within her that she was meant for the city of ganga.
