After losing both of her parents, Violetta Casanova's life was quite miserable. She lived in a castle with her aunt, working as a servant of the castle. Violetta is always mistreated, her sister always torturing her to do whatever she wants to make Violetta suffer. Likewise, her aunt has no defense or protection for Violetta. Even though her aunt used to love Violetta very much, after the incident her aunt hated her, thinking that Violetta was the mastermind of the death of Violetta's parents. Violetta tries to fight back, to rebel against what her aunt is doing to her. That is until Aldrich, the son of the owner of the castle, arrives and changes everything. As well as the case of Violetta's parents' deaths, everything is revealed upon Aldrich's arrival.
Violetta was busy in the castle's kitchen helping her aunt, preparing many dishes for the castle's newest member. It was said that the son of the castle's owner was coming to visit and stay for a few days. That's why everyone was busy with their own work, including Violetta.
"Remember... don't cause any trouble or I'll kick you out of this castle." Aunt Pau said.
After Violetta's parents died, she moved in with her aunt. Getting mistreated was Violetta's daily bread. Her aunt really hated Violetta after that incident, so she tortured Violetta constantly.
Violetta remained silent, not saying anything here. It was better for her to finish her work and then go to college. Fortunately, the inheritance left by her parents was enough to support her and her education. Despite her aunt's disapproval, Violetta was determined to continue her education to the highest level. She would prove to her aunt that one day she would be a big person with a rich life. Then she would banish her aunt from her life forever.
Putting everything away, Violetta left immediately. She didn't want to be late for college. Violetta had to walk more than two kilometers to reach the main road and only then could she find the nearest bus to the castle. With her black clothes slightly faded, Violetta quickly picked up her bag and left. Arriving in front of the side gate and about to leave, Violetta was surprised by the arrival of an unknown person. Fortunately, Violetta had disc brakes on her legs, so she didn't have to run into the man.
They looked at each other, or rather the man looked at Violetta sharply. His gaze was so cold and terrifying that it would have made Violetta shiver with cold. Who was that man and why was he around the castle? If he was the son of the castle owner, why was he going through the side door? Meanwhile, there were a lot of people in front of them who were already welcoming them.
"I'm sorry but I have to pass." Violetta finally said.
"You can just walk, why apologize!" He replied. His tone was so cold, as if Violleta was in the North Pole. Completely heart-stopping, there was no expression other than calm on the man's face.
"I know. But this side door is very narrow, you're standing right in front of me. How can I walk if you're blocking the access?" Violetta calmly explained. Even though she was a little scared, Violetta tried to remain calm as much as possible.
The man's eyebrows raised, he looked her up and down. In the end, the man left her presence without saying anything. He just left without apologizing or excusing himself. How expensive were those two words that Violetta often spoke every day?
"What a strange man." She muttered.
Not wanting to take too long, Violetta finally arrived at the campus on time. She met her two friends who were waiting for her at the gate.
"Hey Vio, I thought you'd be late." Sienna chuckled.
Violetta rolled her eyes lazily. "Maybe if my aunt didn't get in my way, I could have made it here on time, Sienna."
"Yes, yes, yes, I know she's always been difficult for you, hasn't she? She always shows her displeased face towards you." snorted Sienna.
"Hmm. She always thinks I'm the cause of her brother's death. Even though I myself don't know why it happened, if she forgets I was also in the same car with my parents." explained Violetta, looking back at the accident. How sad!
"If only that hadn't happened..."
"Let's not talk about it anymore, I don't want to see you sad, Vio." Noah cut in quickly.
Violetta chose to remain silent and so did Sienna who.
Pursed her lips in displeasure. She did not like seeing Violetta sad, but according to the stories and news that year, Sienna found something strange. It was impossible for the tree to suddenly fall without a big wind. It felt like a premeditated murder. But who killed Violetta's parents? Was it her own aunt?

After wandering around, Aldrich decided to enter the castle. There were so many people welcoming him, all the servants bowed their heads when Aldrich passed by. Meanwhile, the man was looking for something in the castle that he had planted there. And stupidly Aldrich forgot where he buried his precious item. Taking a deep breath, the man chose to sit on the sofa while looking at his father who was waiting for him.
"It shouldn't have taken you this long to come yesterday, Al." said Dandy, the father.
Aldrich's eyebrows raised, "I was just wandering around, Dad. Is something wrong?"
"I know what you want, but not right now."
"So you think I should wait?"
Dandy nodded, he was just asking Aldrich to be patient a little more to find his destination. He just didn't like to be rushed when it came to missions. Moreover, this was quite dangerous for their family and others. But what else could Dandy do, he had to involve Aldrich in this. To maintain his position and also his position that he has been shading for quite a while.
"Just for a moment, I don't think it's a problem." Dandy explained.
Aldrich nodded, he looked around the castle with furrowed brows. "Hmm, I can bear it. What should I do after this?"
"Disguise yourself as a student at one of our campuses."
Aldrich's eyes rounded instantly. Was there no other job than undercover? He was almost three heads old but why did people like Aldrich being a student at one of the faculties? Because that face was Aldrich's face?
"You don't mind, do you, Aldrich?" Dandy smiled wryly at his son's sour face.
"Do I have a choice? I strongly object to being a student. I even have four college degrees in as many years." snorted Aldrich.
Dandy chuckled. "You're pretty smart. Your face isn't that old Al, everyone wouldn't believe you're almost three."
"But it still feels strange to have to go back to the faculty. I haven't been back there for two years, because I chose the case in Ireland. And you want to take me back there, Dad. This is absolutely crazy." Aldrich protested. Dandy couldn't understand why he had to go back to the faculty. He could have put Aldrich in the main office he had for more world domination. But this time...
"The main office is also his responsibility. My men will prepare everything. You don't need to go to the faculty every day, it's just a formality, the rest of the time you'll be busy in the office and offsite hours."
Aldrich snorted. It was a waste of time, Aldrich's body was only one where could he possibly be divided into three parts in the same time?
"Cause!!!" Aldrich hissed, and made Dandy laugh in satisfaction.

"You're mine, little puppy," Kylan growled against my neck. A soft gasp escaped my lips as his lips brushed my skin. My mind screamed at me to push him away-the Lycan Prince who had humiliated me again and again, but my body betrayed me, leaning into him before I could stop myself. He pressed his lips against mine, and his kiss grew more aggressive, more possessive as I felt my legs weaken. What was I doing? In a split-second, I pulled away and slapped him hard across the face. Kylan's eyes darkened, but the smirk on his lips exposed his amusement. "You and I both know we can't fight this, Violet," he said, gripping my wrist. "You're my mate." "And yet you don't want me," I replied. "You told me you were ashamed of me, that l'd never be your queen, that you'd never love me. So please, accept my rejection and let me go." "Never," he whispered, his grip tightening as he pulled me closer. "Soon enough, you'll be begging for me. and when you do-I'll use you as I see fit and then I'll reject you."
"You're pathetic!" Brenden sneered, each word cutting deep into Corinna's heart. Years of emotional wounds had drained every ounce of love she once held. "I've wasted enough time on you. From that moment on, Brenden was haunted by her absence—unable to sleep, longing for the warmth he took for granted.
