Jacob has been married to his wife for six years only to get killed by his wife and her lover. He gets a second chance to fix things. But what Jacob doesn't know is that there more to just being brought back, he has to change his destiny compeletly.
The mistake I made was falling in love with her, loving her sent me to my early grave. If I get a second Chance I'll live right and happy. You must be wondering what I'm talking about, well I've been married to Lillian for six years now and I just found out she has been cheating on me with some crazy Rich guy, when I traced her to their hide out and confronted her she shot me because her lover asked her to.
Pretty messed up right? I'm just so sad for my kids they have to live with a vile man and betrayer for a mother. I just want a second Chance to take great care of my kids, I always showered my wife and kids with love, attention and gifts, why Lillian would do this is so such a surprise for me.
I married Lillian immediately after we had graduated from university, that's how much I loved her and was eager to spend the rest of my life together with her. I never wanted to be away from her. Luckily for i bagged a great paying job immediately after our wedding so as newly weds we never lacked anything. In less than 3 months I was able to buy a house, and cars for us before she had our first child.
Four years into our marriage she began to change , but i didn't think it was anything serious. She would leave our kids home areplied the hang out with her friends till it was late at night. I would always worry about her safety, little did I know i was being cheated on.
'You have regrets ,right?' I heard a voice whisper to me, "Of course i do my wife just shot me. The woman i loved endlessly" my subconscious replied the voice. 'This time live without any regrets, do the right things fr your kids and live till you're to old to walk and this time die without regrets......' The voice slowlly faded away leaving me astonished, I'm already dead how can i possibly do all those things.
"Jacob......" I groaned annoyed at the voice that I hate now sounding all loving and disturbing my dying process. "Jacob wake up." She called again, I slowly opened my eyes to see her standing beside our bed with our son Mickey in her hands. "Why am i here?" I asked looking around the all too familiar room in disbelieve. I'm pretty sure i died and lillian was the one who shot me, so why am I here with the same murderer and why is she all lovey dovey with me? "What on earth are you talking about Jake, you're where you ought to be, with your family of course." Lillian replied staring at me with a worried look on her face. In shock I jerked up from the bed and observed my environ once more , silk curtains, queen sized bed, marble tiles, this is indeed my room. Is my life flashing at my last moment? Was it all a dream? " Lillian" I called out subtly as I remembered the voice that spoke to me before I saw myself here. " Aren't you going to get ready for work or will you be working from home today?" My so called wife asked , I sighed and walked into the bathroom to freshen up and collect myself because whatever was happening right now I couldn't understand it.
After I was done I came out to see Lillian talking sweetly on the phone to someone. "Wait what year is this? Because I'm getting a sense of dejavu here, it all seems like I seen all this before." I quickly looked around the room to see to spot the alarm clock with date on it. 06-06-2022 . It can't be right? Was i really given the chance to come and live right? Wait a minute, why does Mickey look younger? And Lillian's her is still burnette and if I remeber correctly i died on sixth of June two thousand and twenty four.
Why was i brought back to this day specfically? And who the fuck is Lillian at sweetly on thae phone with? 'It really can't be right? Did Lillian cheat on me already?' I walked towards her and she walked passed heading for the rest room when i held her back. " Who are you on the phone with Lillian?" I asked staring into her eyes. I have always been able to tell when she had somethinh to hide but I always let love blind me but if I have really been given the a second chance I refuse to take it for granted. "Um......I.. um ....." she stutters and puts Mickey on the bed and ends the call immediately. ' I was correct, it did start already. ' "You know what I think i know who he is. " I stated with a smile. "What?" she whispers audibly with shock written all over her face. "Take the kids my mom's this afternoon and meet me at Crystal Palace restaurant" I tell her before grabbing my car keys, phone and then walkng of the house, she runs after me and holds onto my hand "Jake , please it hasn't been that long. I'll stop seeing him" Lillian begs hysterically. I paused and smile sadly at the thought of Mickey only being thirteen months old.
"Just meet me at noon Lily. " I said and pulled away from her hold before getting in my car and driving off. How do I feel right now? Well relieved , sad , angry but mostly glad. Time to re- written my Ill fate.
