De Elixir is a book passed down from all the previous rulers to their successors. It contained many secrets of both Zaine land and the outer world.
Apart from the king, she was the only other person who had access to the book so when it got missing she was the first suspect.
It had only being a suspicion until earlier that day when an usong was found in her possession. An usong is diamond card used for passage to and from the outer world.
Firstly, a royal is not meant to be in possession of an usong and then the usong in her possession showed that it had already been used.
That meant that she had somehow snuck out of Zaine land to the outer world. This confirmed the suspicion that De Elixir was no longer in Zaine land but now in the outer world, the human world.
...
"Perpetrator Kiera, do you have anything to say in your defense" The minister of Justice enquired
"What's the point? You wouldn't believe me, would you?" Princess Kiera replied
Despite being casted as a betrayer and having to face the entire royal court for justice, her eyes didn't flicker in fear, her feet didn't grow wobbly, not even once.
She still had that calm and poise look that everyone was way too familiar with.
"Since you have nothing to say. According to the laws of Zaine land. You are banished to the outer world" he declared as the magus walked over and began chanting spells.
She stared in contempt at the minister that constituted the royal court. The knew too well that she was extremely efficient in both medicine and true religion so they had a magus wipe out her memory and banish her to evade any chances of her making a comeback.
She turned to the Royal queen, her step mother. Her step mother and step sisters were grinning from ear to ear. They couldn't even mask their happiness behind their hypocritical sighs.
She stared one last time at the entire courtroom. This castle she had grown up in. This place that used to be home and strangely felt unfamiliar after her mom ran off to the human world.
She glanced at her fiance, Lord Rohan and then at her father, the king. They looked downcast and helpless. They were the only people she had in this large kingdom.
Though she masked it quite well, being banished indeed had a toil on her. It gave a soar taste in her mouth but so what!
She might just end up finally getting reunited with her mother in the outer world. That wouldn't be so bad either.
Her vision was getting blurry as she began to loose consciousness.
That spells chanted by the Magus was beginning to take effect. She felt herself gradually fading away. Her eyes were heavy and her head felt like it was spinning.
"I'll be back" she muttered softly before finally loosing consciousness.

It was late in the day. The streets of Los Angeles shone brightly with people littered in every corner. Even till the late hours of the day, the road was still as busy as ever.
In a black Maybach, driving at a crazy speed, Daimon held out his left hand to the steering wheel as he occasionally drank from the mug beside him.
It was a common habit of his to sip warm tea after an operation.
His phone vibrated twice before he picked it up on the third ring. He answered the call with his left hand still on the steering wheel.
"We got it" Lance who was on the other end of the line exclaimed
Daimon lips curled up lightly. The finally got it. De Elixir was now in their possession.
