It wasn't as if I was not trying my best to look for a job but as the saying goes 'make haste will the sun shines'.

so I could remember. Lying down lifelessly on my bed in my one room apartment. Thinking of how to get up and go on with my daily routine of job hunting, Little did I know that my journey to the word of fantasy begun.

Oh crap!! My room is a mess. FUCK!!! Mom's not around to clean up after me because she apparently is in the hospital. That reminds me I gotta check up on her. Oh my word! this, all this pressure for an 18 yrs old me, when am I gonna take a break from all this.

Take a chill pill Lisa all is gonna be well, at least I tell myself. Living in a one room apartment wasn't easy for me and my mum. At least we didn't have to share it with that bastard that called himself my dad and abandoned his duties right after I was born to go live with a Nigerian woman. Just so you know I envy Nigerian women expecially a tribe called the Igbos damn they got curves that could even drive me as a lady mad. Yet my dad was stolen by one, Or I rather put it ran away with one.

Abandoned by my dad, had a sick mother to take care of , no job. Not far from me lives my friend Kaycee the only guy that I could go and pour my heart out too, guess having a friend wasn't that bad.

Kaycee always cheered me up, he mostly helped me get back on my feet financially, let's just say I live off him during dark times. And that alone had me bothered I just have to look for a job right now. So I grab my phone put on some nice music

One of my favorite artist 'adele' "set fire to the rain". And I begin putting my little room in order , when I'm done I go into the bathroom. Making sure I scrub myself clean because I small like havoc. Stepping out of the bathtub I reach for my phone.

Finally an email popped up it was from a near by restaurant I had applied for a post of a waitress at least I could get some tip that would help for my upkeep. They needed me to start tomorrow. Great now I could stop being a liability to someone's son.

By someone son I mean my friend Kaycee. Who was older than me using good six years.

He's 24, I heard the door open, before I could react kaycee was already in and I only had a towel on. Phewwwww! Thank God I even had a towel on cus that would have been a total disaster

Hey Melissa, I have been knocking for quite sometime now, what's wrong? why didn't you get the door. I was about to speak when he spoke up, umm never mind I heard your mum was taken to the hospital, what happened?.

My mum had a heart attack and was admitted last night, she was short of breath thank goodness I came home on time it would've been a disaster. I loved my mum and didn't know what life would be without her.

I brought out my clothes while Kaycee sat down on the chair beside the bed I turned around to tell him I wanted to change but that look in his eyes gave off a deadly stare. Ummm Kaycee could you please go out I wanna change. Remember that restaurant I told you about down the street?. I asked thinking he may have forgotten.

He just stare at my body without replying , like he was in a trance or something I had a bad feeling something bad was gonna happen if I didn't send him out. so I shout at him this time making sure it wakes him up from whatever spell he was trying to bring out of my body, through the towel I had on.

Kaycee!!!!! He jerked a little then . Sorry Mellisa did you say something, yes I got the job from the restaurant down the street!! Ohhh that's good. umm when do you start? He asked.

They sent me an email stating I should be there by 7:00 am tomorrow morning. Ohhhh that's great Melissa he said, acknowledging the fact that he was happy for me but I felt an energy emitting from him the kind that wouldn't leave a good impression.

He took small strides towards me, I begin to panick because of the lustful look in his eyes. I heard him say 'melissa I had always wanted more than just a friend' between us and I know you wanted that too. I shriek feeling this wasn't gonna end well. The. I replied 'kaycee what wrong why are you saying this now, you know we are only friends and I love you as a brother because you are always there for me.

He tried unwrapping the towel from below my shoulder and I pushed him away. What the fuck Kaycee you know you can only be a friend to me and yet you choose to do this at this time.

My mum's in the hospital my dad left us, the least you can do now is comfort me and yet here you are getting all horny for no good reason.

Melissa if your not gonna give me willingly I might as well take it forcefully he spat out. Before I could figure out what he meant I was already on the bed pinned down by his huge body.
