This is an atypical novel that combines campus life with the ABO worldview. The protagonist, Bill, is an incredibly handsome Omega. Despite being mute, he becomes the object of desire for the second-generation Alphas of Normandy. Unlike typical Omegas, Bill exhibits extraordinary strength and courage, even able to subdue Alphas who have ill intentions towards him. Another main character is Evan, the young master of Lakeside City in Normandy, known as the strongest of the second generation. He is aloof and powerful, feared by everyone. However, he has a special affection for Bill, the cool and mute Omega. After discovering that Bill is not only attractive but also has a unique personality and abilities, Evan decides to protect him and make him his treasured companion. As the story progresses, the relationship between Evan and Bill deepens. Evan's desire to protect and possess Bill grows stronger, while Bill gradually shows his trust and dependence on Evan under his protection. Their emotional entanglement and mutual protection form the most captivating aspect of this story. The novel also intersperses snippets of campus life, including interactions with classmates, concern from teachers, and various experiences of the two protagonists on campus. These details enrich the story's background, allowing readers to gain a deeper understanding of the characters while providing a stage for the development of the protagonists' relationship. With its unique world setting, vivid character portrayals, and intense emotional conflicts, this novel has attracted a large readership. It is not only a story about love and growth but also a work that showcases individuality and self-worth.

Chapter 1 I heard he’s mute

The early autumn sun still carried a scorching heat. In Class 1 of the second year at Normandy High School, students who had just finished their PE class gathered in small groups.

"Guys! Friends! Latest news! We have a transfer student in our class! I just saw Dennis downstairs leading someone up!" Adrian burst into the classroom, excitedly tapping on a desk to announce the latest gossip.

He was a beta, nicknamed "Little Megaphone," known as the gossip hub of the school. Whether it was about the principal arguing with his wife last night or which class's alpha rejected a little omega's confession, he knew everything.

"No way? Our school has a transfer student? Who's the VIP?"

Located in the capital of Normandy, Normandy High School boasted the best educational resources in the Normandy, with very stringent admission requirements. Students either had to be academically excellent or come from a good family background. Typically, such students would join in their first year, not transfer in the second year.

"Really?! Is it an alpha or a beta?"

"Who cares about an alpha? We want an omega, a sweet omega!"

"Yeah! A sweet omega!"

As one of the best high schools in Normandy, the number of alphas here far exceeded the average, but there were relatively fewer omegas. Especially in Class 1, there were only four omegas in total.

The adolescent alphas had been eagerly waiting.

"I don't know!" Adrian waved his hand. "I just saw from a distance. Plus, I'm a beta, guys. I can't smell pheromones!"

Just then, the bell rang.

"Dennis is here!"

A reminder came from the back of the classroom, and the students hurriedly took their seats.

Dennis stood at the classroom door, holding a thermos, his chubby body peeking in. He waited for the class to quiet down before leisurely walking in.

"Class, before we start, I have two announcements. First, we have a new student joining us. I hope everyone will extend our usual warm welcome and help the new student integrate quickly." He gestured to the boy standing at the door, "Come on in."

His attitude was kind and almost affectionate.

Bill lowered his eyes as he walked forward, standing beside him.

"Oh my god! Where did this angelic brother come from?"

"Oh, oh, oh! That face! That figure! A sweet omega!"

"Is he an omega? Is he an omega? Why can't I smell any pheromones?"

The boy had chestnut-brown hair with a slight natural curl, fair skin, and delicate features, with a bit of baby fat on his face, resembling an angel favored by the divine in old European religious paintings.

But he stood there with lowered eyes, silent, and expressionless, exuding an air of coldness that neutralized his overly sweet features, giving him an impression of noble aloofness.

"Quiet! Quiet!" Dennis tapped the desk and looked around the classroom. After seeing an empty seat by the window, he hesitated a bit before pointing to Adrian, "Adrian, move back a seat and sit next to Evan. Give your seat to... your name is Bill, right?"

The boy nodded, his amber eyes glinting under the light.

"Huh?!" Adrian, stunned for a moment, then began to wail, "Teacher! I don't want to move! Sitting with Evan will stress me out and make me go bald!"

The classroom erupted in laughter.

"If he can't, I can!" the omegas in the class teased.

"Teacher, look at us~~"

Evan, the most alpha alpha in the school, had held the top positions of school bully and school heartthrob since enrollment. He was the most desired alpha among all the omegas, without exception.

Not only was he handsome and well-built, but he was also the young master of the Normandy's Lakeside. Except for his volatile temper and tendency to resort to physical fights, he was nearly perfect.

Recently, Evan had been taken away for treatment due to pheromone fluctuations causing a pheromone frenzy among all the alphas in the school, and he hadn't returned yet.

Unlike the omegas' excitement, the alphas, recalling the overwhelming pheromone pressure from that day, touched their neck glands, their faces pale.

"What are you, a beta, afraid of? Should we have the new student, an omega, sit with Evan? Hurry up!" Dennis urged, patting the boy's shoulder encouragingly, "Don't be nervous. Get along well with the new student."

Adrian fake-cried twice before moving to the back. Bill nodded, expressionless, and walked to the empty seat with his books in hand.

"One more thing, it's been almost a month since school started. The first monthly exam will be next Thursday and will last for two days," Dennis announced after arranging the seats.

"No way! Already an exam?!"

"It hasn't even been a month since school started! Give us a break!"

"This is insane!"

The students wailing in unison, but Dennis ignored them, letting out a cold chuckle.

"There's more than a week left. You still have time to prepare."

The wailing filling the classroom seemed nonexistent to Bill. He sat down at the designated seat and slowly began organizing his books.

"Hey~"

A pen poked his shoulder from the side.

Bill turned to see an omega boy with black-framed glasses, looking at him curiously.

"My name's David. We're desk mates now!" The boy smiled warmly.

Bill looked at him for a moment, then picked up a notebook and wrote a few words-"My name is Bill. Nice to meet you."

On Normandy High School's forum, the two hottest topics over the past week were the upcoming monthly exam and the new omega boy in Class 2-1.

[Someone, help! Look what I found! A treasure! Three seconds! I need to know everything about him!]

Below was a photo, clearly taken secretly, at the basketball court.

In the photo, a boy in a school uniform leaned against a tree, reading a book. Because it was hot, his sleeves were rolled up to his elbows, exposing slender, fair wrists. He held the book in one hand, preparing to turn the page with the other. Sunlight filtered through the leaves, making his already light hair seem almost golden.

"??? Our school has such a omega? Is he an omega?"

"That hair color? So rare! Is he mixed with old European blood?"

"To the above, yes, he's an omega!"

"The person above seems to know a lot! Which class?"

"Stop teasing us!"

"Class 2-1. He's a transfer student! An omega! But I've never smelled his pheromones."

"???? We have transfer students? I don't believe it!"

"What do you mean never smelled his pheromones? Don't you know about blockers? It'd be weird if you could smell them."

" Blockers don't completely, 100% block pheromones. You can still smell a bit."

"You're wrong. If you can smell it, either your pheromone compatibility is high, or his blockers are about to expire."

"Why doubt the transfer student? You can ask any teacher to confirm."

"Class 2-1? Isn't that the class where an alpha caused a pheromone frenzy recently? That's a scary class!"

"Scary +1"

"Scary +2"

"Scary +3, but I still want to shout that Evan is awesome!"

"Am I the only one who wants to know what this omega's pheromones smell like? Reward: 100!"

"I'll pay 200! Anyone know?"

"500! I want to know too!"

"But I heard he's mute~"
