Chapter 1

Liam Colton, 26 years old. Born being a recessive omega. I'm a college student, currently studying at S University. Maybe you've got confused by my age, that's because I'm a returning student. I stopped studying when I was young. The one who told me to study again was Aunt Sylvia, Kairo's mom. Auntie was my mom's best friend when she was still alive.

That was very kind of her to make me stay at their house just for me to study. She also gave me allowance sometimes and bought me clothes like she did with her son. Aunt Sylvia always works all day, she almost went home late or sometimes she can't even make it home. Causing her to sleep at the company.

Auntie only had Kairo, his son. When his husband left them to be with another woman. She was supposed to have her second baby when she got a miscarriage due to the stress when her husband left them. Then months had passed after that, when she visited my house asking me to live with her son and also to look after him. When I got here, I felt really sorry for her. So moving on, I'm at school today with my classmates and friends, Nicki and Ethan.

"Have you seen the new movie? Named The Vengeance?" Asked by Ethan who's holding his book.

“Oh! I haven't watched it. That's why I brought you guys a ticket! Come with me after your class, let's watch it! We deserve a reward after that nerve wracking mock exams!!". Nicki answered him in a cheerful tone.

"Awwww, really? then when are you free Liam? Let's just watch it when you're not busy. Right Ethan?". Nicki said.

"You can say that again". Ethan replied as he nodded his head.

"Ahh, I can't answer that right away. You see my hands are always full due to my part time job and studying haha". I said.

Nicki scratched her head and said.

“I can't watch it with Ethan alone. Other people already think that we're dating, so if they're going to see just the two of us on the cinema then the rumors will probably continue again!! I hate you Ethan!!." She said while shaking Ethan's shoulder. Ethan just laughed at her and didn't say a word.

"Ahahaha, okay okay I'll try. Let's watch it tonight after my shift?" I said

Nicki tapped my back and said.

"That's it! I'll wait at the gate Liam. If you can't make it. I'll turn you into a frog hahaha!". Nicki burst out laughing and immediately closed her mouth when she realized that she's only laughing by herself.

"Damn you two, so serious". She said as she chewed on her gum. Ethan and I just chuckled and didn't give her a word.

"Okay go back to your proper seats and we'll start". Our professor said as he entered the room.

After my last class, I went outside the building to look for Ethan and Nicki. We're not at the same class during the last subject, I've got separated that's why as soon as I reached the gate, I'm waiting alone for them as I watched a lot of students passed by.

"Hey! guys let's eat I'm already hungry". A girl student loudly said.

"Yeah me too, ah! by the way have you seen Kairo?! damn those looks were no joke". The other girl said as she admired Kairo's appearance.

"Oh yes yes! He's with my class on Ethics!".

"Really?? Does he already have a girlfriend?

"Dunno, why? wanna be his omega haha?". The girl chuckled as she says.

"I'm just curious. Well if I could then why not?". Answered by the other girl. Then both of them laughed.

'Hmm? getting crazy over a psychotic alpha?'. I said inside my mind.

"Liaaaammmmm my darlin'". The moment I heard this familiar voice, I immediately turned my head and saw Nicki and Ethan approaching.

"Hey, your so noisy". Ethan said and I just chuckled.

"Why can't I be noisy? when everyone talking like they're chatting with someone's living on the other side of the earth!? huh? Answer me Mr. Raycarson". Nicki playfully said as she provoked Ethan's ego".

Ethan chuckled and said.

"Okay okay, I'll let you win this time, you're embarrassing us".

Nicki just rolled her eyes at him then looked at me and said.

"Let's go darlin', I wanna see your part time job too". She said and looked back at Ethan and added. "By the way, where's your car, rich kid?"

Ethan who's fixing his hair, looked at us and said. "I didn't bring it with me but, if you want I'll call Mr. Hans so we could take a ride to your work Liam?".

I've got flustered and said. "Huh? n,no no you don't have to, haha ​​my workplace isn't that far anyway".

"Is that so? then let's just walk". Nicki said as she held my arms and started to walk.

While on the way to my workplace. I ran into Kairo together with his friends we just did an eye contact and ignored each other. Kairo don't want to let other people know that we're living together. I guess he feels shy about it, but I don't care either.

"Whoa did he just stare at you Liam?". Nicki said as she noticed what happened.

I looked away and said. "No, maybe he's looking the other way."

Ethan smiled then glanced at me as he said.

"Liam... are you seeing someone right now, by any chance".

Nicki who was drinking her water got ch0ked by Ethan's sudden question and said. "Ugh! wha what was that Ethan? haha you really talk out of the blue sh-t you're creepy. And why are you asking him like that?".

"Ah I'm, I'm just curious!" Ethan exclaimed as he got a little flustered.

I smiled as I looked at him but he avoided my gaze. So I let out a little laugh and said. "It's not like, I have some time to date someone".

Ethan just nodded hearing what I said.

"Is that true? But darlin' you're cute. Does Alpha's taste nowadays isn't that good?". Nicki said as she put her arms around my shoulder.

Ethan chuckled and said. "Talking to yourself?".

Nicki narrowed her eyes and said. “Shut up spoiled brat. I know I'm an alpha but, if Liam was a girl maybe it wouldn't be bad to date him".

My eyes shrink when I heard what she suddenly said and asked.

"You're into the same gender?"

"Yeah, you don't know? haha me neither. I just knew it recently." she said

"How did you know?". Ethan asked out of curiosity.

"I knew it when the first time I saw you Ethan". She said.

Ethan and I got our self confused as we looked at her and said. "What do you mean, me?"

Nicki lit up some of her cigarettes and said. " Uhh it's simple, All girls outta here goes crazy seeing you but I'm not". She said as she raised her right eyebrows and added. " Even I saw our cute Liam here, I didn't get attracted romantically. So in summary I saw a pretty looking girl last week and got myself fallen for her".

"Ohh is that so? I don't know that you've got shaken simply by sight haha". I stated.

"Yes, darling." Haaa.. enough talking about me. It's boring".

"I agree". Ethan said. Nicki got herself irritated with Ethan and smacked his shoulder and yelled.

"You're the one who asked for it at the first place you idiot!". Then both of us laughed as we watched Nicki getting annoyed again.

A minute has passed when we reached the cafe where I was working with. As we entered, I immediately went to the staff room to wear my uniform. While I leave the two of them sitting on a place they choose. I just work 4 hours in this cafe so they decide to wait for me until I'm done. They ordered food and drinks as they chit chat.

A little longer I'm done with my shift and the three of us went to the cinema. As we entered the dark room and found our seats we sat on it right away.

I was sitting between them, because they don't like being next to each other. The movie was popular tho it was a total cliche. It was about a woman who got her revenge after the endless suffering of betrayal. An hour has passed when we finished watching the movie and decided to grab a dinner at the restaurant near our place.

"Since we're all here. Let's get drunk!". Nicki cheerfully said as she raised the bottle of alcohol.

"Do you drink Liam?" Ethan asked in a sweet tone.

I looked at him and said. "A little, I can't get myself drunk since we need to go home haha".

Ethan smiled back at me and nodded, while Nicki settled our food and drinks.

I checked my phone when it suddenly vibrates, and saw Aunt Sylvia's message.

[Son, I won't be going home tonight. Just ordered food that you want and use my card. Also inform Kairo about the upcoming mid-term exams, okay?. Both of you, study hard. Let's eat outside once I managed to get home. Get along with each other okay?. I love you both]

[Yes Aunt, Leave everything to me. Take care of yourself always. ] I replied then put my phone back in my pocket.

"Ethan! here drink this, don't tell me a rich guy like you can't drink something like this?. That's kinda offensive". Nicki says as she put some alcohol on Ethan's glass. Ethan drank it right away and got himself dizzy then his face turns really red.

I've got worried and said "Don't push yourself too much Ethan".

Nicki looked at me and passed the glass of alcohol to me as she said.

"Don't worry darling'. I little drink won't kill him. And besides they're rich he can bring himself to the hospital even abroad right away if he got a seizure due to alcohol "

I just chuckled and didn't say anything.

A little longer after eating and drinking. The two of them got really drunk. I've got a little nervous thinking how should I send them home. I checked Nicki's phone to look at her contacts and found her mom's number there. The moment I saw it, I immediately called her mom to get her here. A little longer her mom arrived.

“Oh! Nicki you brat. How come you got so drunk?". Nicki's mom said as she helped her daughter to stand up. She looked at me and said. "Thank you for looking at my daughter and I'm sorry for her naughty behavior".

"N, no aunt it's okay...". I said then she smiled at me and said. "Well then, we have to go. Take care on your way, what's your name by the way?".

I smiled back and answered.

"It's Liam, Aunt Mary".

"Oh you know my name? hahaha". She said while holding her daughter.

"Ah Yes, Nicki mentioned it a long time ago. I just remembered". I said.

She smiled and stated. "Is that so? haha well take care on your way Liam".

I waved at them as they walked away. Then I suddenly remembered Ethan who's sleeping on the couch near the table. I walked towards him to wake him up.

"Ethan, wake up. I can't carry you, you know?" I said.

Ethan opened his eyes half closed and said. "L- Liam?".

"Yes it's me, stand up and let's go".

I slowly lift him up as he staggered walking. A little longer we got ourselves out of the restaurant and rested in the alley for a while
