Chapter 1 The Beginning of a Play.

Nathan, born in the bustling city of Texas to a Nigerian father and Nigerian mother, has lived all his life in America. His father, Kelvin, a 63-year old man has worked so hard to give him and his only sister the best of everything in life. He is now the CEO of a very successful oil and gas company that is worth millions of dollars. To put it succinctly, Nath has done so well for himself too. He is known for his charisma and his ability to win people over effortlessly. He however has a flair for dating vulnerable women who are struggling with their identity.

Nath creeps into their lives, makes them feel and home with him, exploit them in every way possible and then he is gone.

Amelia, a talented young artist, poured her heart into creating mesmerizing paintings that adorned the walls of local galleries Texas and other parts of the world. Her life was a canvas of passion and creativity.

Their paths crossed one rainy evening at an art exhibition where Amelia's captivating artwork caught Nathan's eye. Enchanted by her talent and beauty, he approached her, sparking a whirlwind romance.

Their love blossomed against the backdrop of Texas picturesque streets, but hidden beneath Nathan's charm lurked a darker side. He had a reputation for using his influence to manipulate and discard those who no longer served his interests.

As their relationship deepened, Nathan's true colors began to surface. He started to belittle Amelia's passion for art, trying to mold her into someone more suitable for his high-society world. Unbeknownst to him, Amelia has seen through him for whom he was and she was silently plotting her revenge.

She pretended to succumb to his wishes, all the while secretly planning her masterpiece-a series of paintings that depicted Nathan's deceitful nature and the pain he had caused her.

On the night of Nathan's grand society gala, where Amelia's art was to be showcased, she unveiled her collection. The paintings revealed Nathan's true self, stunning the audience into silence. Humiliated and exposed, Nathan's facade crumbled as the truth spilled onto the canvases.

Infuriated by the betrayal, Nathan attempted to destroy the paintings, but it was too late. Amelia stood tall, reclaiming her power and refusing to be silenced.

In a fit of rage and embarrassment, Nathan lashed out, but before he could cause harm, Rhys, a kind-hearted bystander who had witnessed Nathan's manipulation in the past, intervened, restraining him.
