Taming Her Popular Husband

It's dawn already and Kristen was still fast asleep when she felt a pair of eyes watching her. She flipped her eyes opened has they held gaze with that of her mother's.

"Mom, why are you here? Were you seriously watching me while I sleep?" Kristen asked with raised brows.

"My little girl, mom just felt like watching you for a while. I just can't believe my baby is actually getting married today." Mrs Zhou grinned as she stroke her hair softly.

Realization drawned on kristen that today was her supposed wedding with someone she knows nothing about except, what the internet tells you. Isn't it annoying? Her Mom, Mrs Zhuo and the Xander Family company are going into a cooperation and thus, needs their kids to get married so as to seal the deal.

"All thanks to you Mom. So why are you acting up?" Kristen asked with a roll of her eyes as she sat up on her bed.

"Kristen, You should be happy I made the right decision for you. You're getting married to a popular and rich singer in California. Every girl wish they're in your position right now. so, value what you have while you still can." Mrs Zhou gritted out as she stood up from her daughter's bed.

"I can't value what can't be valued Mom! How do you expect me to cope with someone i have no feelings for?" Kristen yells as tears well up in her eyes.

"You would learn to love him dear. Just clean those tears of yours and act like a bride that you are. Shedding these tears ain't gonna do nothing. Go freshen up, the makeup artists would be here soon." Mrs Zhou said with a frown on her face as she exit her daughter's room.

Kristen cried for some seconds before dragging her foots to her girlish bathroom.

One hour time, Kristen stood staring at herself in her big mirror screwed to the wall of her room.

The makeup artist were all wowed at her beauty. kristen look extremely beautiful in her wedding gown. The wedding gown fitted her body down to her hip area before flowing all the way down. The makeup on her face added extra beauty to her which made her look so outstanding.

Mrs Zhou who was ready, walked into her daughter's room to get her. The moment she stepped into Kristen's room, her mouth was left hanging as she ran her eyes all over her daughter's body.

"My little girl, you are looking just like a princess." Mrs Zhou pulled her into a hug with smiles on her face. Kristen who was getting married has no smile on her face. All the things happening is already making her feel extremely suffocated.

She was led out of her room to the car parked in front of her house. She hopped in and the driver sped off to the resemption venue. Their marriage has been registered already. This big party is being held so the world would know Harry Brown Xander is now a married man.

They got to the venue with her Mom car behind hers. The driver pulled the door open as she stepped out dazzling everyone with her beauty. With the way the wedding dress hugged her tightly, it felt as though it was designed just for her. It brought out all of her curvy shape. No one could take their eyes off her as she stepped into the huge and filled up resemption hall. All the family present were either celebrities or wealthy business men.

Kristen walked straight up to her mother in law as she pulled her into her arms and engulf her in a tight hug.

"I'm so glad to have you as my daughter in law. You look so breathtaking princess" Her mother in law couldn't stop raining praises on her.

After greeting Mr Xander and few other important persons, she was excorted by her mother in law to sit beside her husband.

Kristen felt a cold shiver rushed down her vains as she sat close to the cold handsome guy beside her. His face was void of emotions as he typed away on his phone. This is the first time she has actually been this close to him. She has been to his concert with her best friend Natalie severely but hasn't been able to get close to this popular singer but now, it's a misery that she actually got married to him.

"Harry, won't you say hello to your wife? I guess this is the first time the both of you are seeing each other, you should both get along well since you're both married now." Harry's Mom beamed while staring at her son.

"Hello? Why should I say something like that to this bi*ch?" Harry suddenly asked his Mom with a smirked on his face. Luckily the music playing didn't let other ears pick the words he has just uttered.

"Are you out of your mind, Harry? She's not a bi*ch! She's your wife! Why must you use that word on her?" Harry's Mom yelled as she felt deeply angered by her Son's inappropriate words.

Kristen fiddled with her fingers as she felt extremely hurt by his words As she tries hard to conceal her pain but, Her mother in law saw through her.

"Did I acknowledged her as my Wife? I'm sitted here doesn't mean I'm acknowledging her as my wife. I'm only here today because of the reputation of our family Else, i wouldn't had shown my face in this disgusting wedding." Harry growl out in total disgust.

"That's enough, shut your mouth!" Harry's mom yelled at him before taking her gaze to Kristen who was almost at the peak of tears.

"I'm apologizing to you on his behalf dear. Please don't take whatever he says to heart. I guess he's just not in a good mood today" Harry scoffs on hearing his mother's words as he immediately stood up to go greet his celebrity friends including his girlfriend Natasha. She's been sitted among the other celebrities as her eyes were fixed on the couples. She had saw how irritated Harry looked at kristen and felt so happy.

Harry got to where Natasha is sitted as he uttered " Let's go!" Natasha was shocked but, she reluctantly stood up and walked out of the hall with him.
