Adam's Unforeseen Bargain

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting an ethereal glow upon the city, Adam found himself entwined in the warmth of a passionate embrace with his lover, Elizabeth. The world ceased to exist beyond the confines of the dimly lit room. Muffled whispers filled the air, showcasing their love's raw intensity. It was a moment filled with desire, punctuated by the intoxicating scent of love and blooming roses.

However, fate possessed a wicked sense of timing, which Adam would come to discover in the most unexpected way. As their passion reached its pinnacle, a sudden deafening crash reverberated through the room, shattering the illusion of their intimate sanctuary.

In the blink of an eye, the reality of a tragic accident tore through their world like a tempest. The sound of metal crushing against metal, accompanied by cries of pain and desperation, overwhelmed their senses. Time seemed suspended as Adam's senses slowly returned, his initial shock replaced by a searing pain that gnawed at his core.

Lying there, crumpled amidst the twisted metal and shattered glass, Adam felt the strength drain from his body. Panic gripped him, mingling with the sharp, desperate cries of helplessness echoing around him. Thoughts of imminent death clouded his mind, his vision dimming as his body surrendered to the aftermath of the catastrophe.

Yet, as the final vestiges of consciousness threatened to slip away, a sudden presence whispered in Adam's ear-the voice of the Devil himself. Soft, but commanding, the words pierced through the chaos surrounding him. With a shudder, Adam found himself unable to ignore the temptation and reached for the Devil's offered salvation.

In the haze of pain and confusion, Adam made a devilish pact. He agreed to exchange a favour, unbeknownst to him that the Devil's transactions were rarely simple or free from grotesque consequences. Adam knew only that he wanted to live, desperately clinging to the hope of survival like a drowning man grasping for the last gasp of air.

As the pact was sealed, without hesitation or delay, 'The Daemonic Influence' took hold. A strange, grotesque object was thrust into Adam's palm, its appearance enough to send shivers of revulsion down his spine. It was a curious item possessing a twisted beauty that both entranced and horrified him. Its surface was imprinted with ancient runes and deliberate carvings, leaving no doubt about the otherworldly nature of this object.

With a surge of power running through his veins, Adam felt a transformation overtaking his physical being. Waves of heat and energy coursed through his body, mending his wounds and instilling newfound vitality. In mere moments, he went from being on the brink of death to standing tall, albeit shaken, in the face of the aftermath.

Gazing at the Devil's grotesque object now cradled in his palm, Adam realized the true nature of the favour he must fulfil. He was bound to greater darkness, haunted by consequences yet to be revealed. The Devil had saved him with this mysterious and dreadful object, but at what cost?

Adam's mind spun with countless thoughts, grappling with the ominous pact he had unknowingly agreed to. His gaze shifted between the titanic wreckage surrounding him and the mysterious artefact clutched in his hand. The realization of a life forever altered weighed heavily upon him, hope intertwining with dread in a twisted dance.

Little did Adam know, this unforeseen bargain would plunge him into a reality far beyond his most dreaded nightmares, setting in motion a chain of events that would challenge his very existence. Salvation and damnation, intertwined like a devil's knot, awaited him in his quest to fulfil the bargain struck amidst the chaos of shattered desires.

Standing strong amidst the ruins, his gaze landed on his lover, Elizabeth, her body crooked and rammed, with shattered glasses piercing her once smooth tender skin that was now dark red in wounds.

A metal rod ran straight through her forehead back leaving her eyes wide open, black, staring at the terror of death.

Just a meter away, another body lay, its figure more curious than the first, heavily injured and barely recognisable as human. Adam took a step closer, his body shaking with fear as he recognized the corpse.

'Is that me?'

'Is this a dream?'

Adam sank in confusion, everything was opaque to his conscience. He lifted the corpse, turning it on its back as he studied its nakedness.

"It's me!" His fear jolted him backwards, making him triple over Elizabeth's corpse. At this moment he knew he had messed up, but the deal had been so sweet.

Gaining the courage to understand the situation, Adam finally arose weakly and realized he was naked. Tears flowed down his cheek as he wished to wake up from the dream but instead, the devil revealed himself from the darkness of the Otherworld. The devil's voice was charming and tempting as the floating apparition opened Adam's inner sight.

"I baptize you in the name of Lucifer. Your name now is Sarius."

Adam felt a jolt of awkwardness cruise down his spine as his previous body(now a corpse) began to fade into dust. Vigorous energy generated from the baptism found its way home, down his spine to habituate between his legs. At the same moment, the grotesque object glued on his palm absorbed itself into his blood veins and a substantial weight made his phallus enlarge an inch longer.

"What is happening to me!" Adam cried as the sound of sirens became loud. With a last look at his late lover, Adam savaged for the sheet covered in the wreckage to cover himself up as reporters accompanied paramedics to the rescue.

What he wished to be a dream became real as he witnessed the impact caused by a meteorite crash upon the city. Everything before him that once meant flourish spelt one bold word in his mind, 'APOCALYPSE.'

"Excuse me, sir, can you remember anything before the meteor strike?" A sweet sympathetic voice cut through Adam's trail of misery as he looked up to the beautiful reporter.

"Please leave him alone, he needs rest." A young medic came to his rescue as Adam listened to the nagging reporter's request to know about him.

"I'm Adam... I'm Sarius, I'm Sarius Adam." Adam breathed out as heavy dizziness forced him to fall back losing him to the darkness.

"It's just a nightmare." He finally breathed as the ambulance raced towards the nearest hospital.
