Aurora POV
When I woke up, my brother jumped onto my bed and yelled at me to get ready for school right away.
We just moved here three days ago because my parents wanted to start somewhere new and get us away from the rogues that were congregating around our pack.
Aurora, get up right away because if you wait any longer, you won't have time to finish getting ready, and we all know it takes you a long time to get ready, said my brother.
Oh, brother, please keep quiet.
He urged them to hurry so they could eat breakfast because we all understand how you feel when you don't.
I got up, made my bed, and went to take a shower after throwing a pillow at him as he shut my door while thinking about how drastically my life was about to change.
But how rude of me, My name is Aurora, a distinctive name that I used to hate until my parents convinced me otherwise. We recently moved from New York to California.
Our pack, the silver moon pack, is currently ranked second among the five largest and most powerful packs, behind the blood moon, which is owned by the alpha king.
It would seem that the moon goddess does not want me to find my soul mate just yet because I am 17 years old and should have done so by now. The idea that I have a soul mate and that we were meant to be together has always been dear to me. It only made me wish I could have done so earlier as I saw how happy my parents were.
I am a hybrid with blood from werewolves, vampires, and witches. Simply put, my siblings are werewolves. My mother is the witch queen and half wolf, and my father is the vampire king. I am the only white wolf, and I am not allowed to transform into my wolf because it is all white.
After getting out of the shower, I put on some makeup, dried my hair into its natural curls, and changed into a white skirt, a white cropped tank top, and my white jean jacket.
I placed my book bag on the sofa, took out my phone, and made sure I had everything before going down the stairs. I walked into the kitchen and could hear my family talking.
My father said, "Good morning, Aurora.".
"Good morning, Dad," I said with a smile.
".
He looked at me sternly and said, "Aurora, I need you to behave properly on your first day.".
It was my first day, so what could possibly go wrong, I told him.
".
He nodded, smiling at me.
I was approached by him, who then hugged me and wished me a happy day.
I gave her a hug and said, "Bye, see you after school.
".
Bye Baby, let me know if anything happens, she said with a wink and a smile.
Asher, my brother, pulled me out of the kitchen, put his arm around my shoulder, and we chatted about school and how he was eager to meet new girls.
I glared at my brother and made my way to the front door.
Which cars are we taking?
my brother Nick inquired.
"I'm taking Mine," I said.
".
Mine," my brother John retorted.
I'll take mine too, my brother Ares replied.
".
Along with John, Mark, Elijah, and Ares, my sisters Sapphire and Celeste climbed into my white Jeep Wrangler.
Following that, we sped away.
My sisters and I sang along as we drove to school, but as soon as we got there, I turned the music off and parked next to my brothers, leaving the two of us in the middle.
So, in their own words, "no boys would get close to us or use that as a pretext to get close to me and my sisters.
".
As I exited the vehicle with my sisters to retrieve our belongings from the back, I rolled my eyes. I made the decision to disregard the fact that I could feel eyes on me. Then I went to the main entrance of the school after locking and closing my car door.
Everybody in the school stopped and gawked as we walked in, just like in a movie. I walked into the office with my siblings right behind me.
How can I help you guys, a kind old lady smiled and asked.
"Hello, we're new, and we need our schedules," said Sellete as he made his introduction.
Of course, honey," the lady said while handing each of us our schedules.
I said, "Thank you," grinned, and then I went after my siblings.
After going to our adjacent lockers to compare our schedules, we did so.
I had at least two of them in every class, which made me happy because it meant I wouldn't be alone. Because the school was so big, we all arrived to class late because we had trouble finding our class. Selleste, Sapphire, and Asher and I had English.
Upon opening the door, everyone turned to face us in order to see who it was.
The instructor assumed that you four were the Mikealsons.
Sapphire responded, "Yes, ma'am.
The teacher welcomed them and asked them to take a seat.
She grinned back at me as I moved to a vacant seat. I made the necessary notes before taking a brief break as she began her lecture.
The rest of the day was spent in the same uninteresting classes, with girls staring at me and boys chatting about my sisters and me.
To say I was relieved when lunchtime came around would be an understatement. My brothers were already there and had set a table for us when my sisters and I entered the cafeteria. They better have some good food because I was starving.
I went to get lunch with them, along with my sisters and brothers, and we all sat down. We could hear other people talking and in whispers.
We quickly left for home as the day came to an end. Unexpectedly, nothing happened today, which was a good thing. Hope this continues for the remainder of the year.
