This marriage will save the predatory species from extinction
My heart contended as I walked down the hall, leading to my fathers office, my steps were heavy and loud to let him know I was coming his way.
I placed my hand on the door clump and turned it sluggishly, reluctant to walk in. But I did so anyway.
I stood confidently infront of my father determined not to let him see my fear." Yes father?" I questioned explosively, standing infront of his rustic office that filled half of the room. It had papers that were wet from him preliminarily discovering his beer bottle, that was now empty on his office along with the others. The room was dim and his curtains were closed, not letting the sun light through.
The intimidation was percolating out of him, yet his reverse was to me as he spoke.
" You're my youthful child, and only son" he declared with a careless but demanding tone." You're going to get wedded to Ragnar Luke" My father put out his cigarette as he turned his president around to see my response. My heart beat set from just hearing the name.
Ragnar Luke as in the Ragnar Luke." They enjoy one of the biggest Mafia's father" I responded with fear in my voice. I did not want to marry someone because of their power, wanted to marry someone who I loved and trusted. Someone who'll admire me and watch for me.
" Exactly, you'll meet him in a week, you'll make a good print or differently there will be consequences, do you understand?" my father spoke demandingly, grinding his teeth in wrathfulness.
The reek of alcohol filled the room. He was drunk as usual, should not be surprised as he has always been this way." Yes father" I stated, trying to hide my wrathfulness and frustration." Get out of my office" He lumbered turning his president down from me. A gash rolled down my impertinence as I shut the door still.
strutted down the hallway, feeling stupefied about what he'd just blazoned to me.
headed straight for my room, shutting the door behind me. Hay on my bed, feeling overwhelmed by forlornness and shock. I had mixed feelings; I did not know this man.
Ragnar could be vituperative, aggressive, violent, loud and indeed worse, a drunk like my own father. Not to mention Ragnar doesn't have the stylish character in the Mafia. I could be stuck with a man who is exactly like my father and I wouldn't be suitable to do anything about it.
Lost in my studies, heard a light knock on my door.
" Sofia?" my mama uttered vocally before entering my room.
" Mamá" I responded sorely as I lowered , eventually letting the sadness consume me. My mama wrapped her arms around me, trying to console me the stylish she could.
I was worried but I could not change the situation so l'll just have to accept it
She rubbed my reverse soothingly, trying to comfort me.
" Your father told me moment what he planning, I wouldn't have let him, if I'd of known sooner" she tried to hold back the emotion in her voice." I know" I soughed, hugging my mama tighter than ahead." Your sisters aren't going to be happy about this, especially Raul" My mama shook her head disappointedly, not suitable to make eye contact with me.
Raul was my oldest family and unexpectedly I get along with him the stylish. I've 4 other sisters so 5 in total.
Raul, Stefano,
Marco, Javi and the youthful boy Diego. We are each only a time piecemeal.
We're all Spanish but my father had interdicted us from learning indeed a word of the language because he uses it to talk to his musketeers and Mafia alliances so that we can not hear to the discussion and know his idea's unless he wanted us to.
" Anyways, come down and eat with your family, regale is ready" My mama spoke calmly as she stroked a beachfront of my loose hair behind my observance. She stood up and walked out; I followed my mama downward shortly after.
" Heyyyy Sof" Raul cheered, hugging me before noticing that I sounded worried." What is wrong?" Raul asked worriedly, making all my other sisters gawk at me.
" Nothing, just a long day" I smiled reassuringly, sitting down at the table. I watched my father walk in with not a care in the world.
We all ate and everyone was talking about their day." So Sofia, how was your day?" Diego questioned me. My father goggled at me brutally while he cut his steak, his harsh look advising me not to tell them." Boring" I replied with a small smile before cutting into my own steak awkwardly. They all blinked at me a couple times, but I signed it off before going back to talking.
" I've an advertisement" my fathers deep voice boomed from the top of the table, grabbing our attention incontinently. All my sisters incontinently stopped talking incontinently since it was one of my fathers numerous rules.
still, stop what you're doing incontinently and hear, If I talk.
" Your family is getting wedded soon" He declared, standing his ground. I saw Raul's face drop and suddenly come swamped with rage." Surely you can not be allowing this?!" Raul jumped up angrily." Sit down boy, I have not finished speaking" My father wrangle at Raul causing him to sluggishly sit back down in fear.
Do not defy my rules or question them.
" It was my decision" My fathers voice echoed through the room." She's only 18!" Marco slammed his fist on the table in wrathfulness." How can you allow this?" Diego yelled shocked at Mamá." She's the youthful of us all, you can not do this!" Raul refocused furiously at me while my mama tried to calm him down. I sat at the table still, unfit to eat my food.
The table was chaotic with the noise of my sisters as I stayed silent, not wanting to add to the commotion.
" STOP" my father roared, spooking us all." I've a head pang and I do not have time for this arguing, it's passing whether you boys agree with it or not" My father wrangle through his gritted teeth, before walking out of the kitchen My father noway called my sisters men, I suppose he does it to belittle them.
Raul left the table and stormed out of the room; He was more worried about this than I was.
" You be careful" Stefano advised me, pointing his cutter at me." Yes, I'll be" I jounced reassuringly, trying to eventually put this argument to rest. I knew no bone could change my father's mind, he has always preferred the boys anyway.
" We've to go train Sof, we'll be back soon" Javi got up from the table and gentled my head as he walked by, making me smile slightly. Diego, Marco and Stefano following near behind Javi. My hair was a mess by the time they had all finished stroking my head.
I smiled and shook my head while fixing my hair. They still treat me like a child.
" Your sisters adore you" My mamá spoke up, gaping at the food on her plate with remorse." Raul could not indeed look at me, he was so shocked" my mama grunted as a gash ran down her impertinence." Mamá, it's okay, it's not your fault" I comforted her as washed my plate at the Gomorrah.
" He told me just before he told you, was so angry but it was out my power; I just hope you understand" My mama rambled over to me.
She brushed my hair out of my face with her hand." I love you, my baby" She seized my face gently, planting a kiss on my impertinence." I love you too Mamá" I responded with a soft tone." You'll be okay, do you understand?" My mama raised her eyebrows at me questionably. I jounced slightly before she pulled me into her arms formerly again.
" I do not want to go" I eventually admitted as she held me close.
" You can not be stuck in this house ever" My mamá murmured to me.
" What about academy?"| shocked as I goggled worriedly at her." You'll still go to academy, well, that is if Ragnarallows you" my mama set thinking of him
Ragnar had a cruel and merciless character that has not been broken to this day. Although I have not heard anything in particular about him. It's like everyone in the Mafia knows who he's but he is still mysterious in a sense.
