My name is Rachel and I am the daughter of Alpha Michael Warren and Luna Lisa Warren. I have a twin brother name Patrick. He is older than me by five minutes. Anyway, they started treating me like a runt because they blamed me of my mom’s death. It all happened, when my mom and I went to the field to have a picnic. We’re just having a great time, until three rogues showed up to the field and I couldn’t fight with my mom, since I didn’t have my wolf that time. She ended up fighting and I mind link everyone to help. By the time my mom got hurt, my dad shows up with everyone else.

My mom’s head was on my lap and I couldn’t stop crying. I see my dad’s eyes and I got scared. “What the hell happened?” “Rogues showed up and mom fought three of them. She told me to run.” “We don’t believe you sis. I can’t believe you let mom die.” “I didn’t. I didn’t do anything.” “Take her to the attic.” I couldn’t stop having my tears sliding down my face. I live in the attic with a mattress and a couple of clothes in the drawer.

Good thing I have my own bathroom, but it wasn’t as nice as the one I had in my room downstairs. I just wish that my mom didn’t die. I miss her so much. Anyway, I can hear my brother screaming my name to start cooking dinner. I walked out of my room and walk downstairs to the kitchen. The head cook Charlotte started giving me instructions on what to make. I started cooking garlic butter mash potato and I made sure it’s the correct way. The way my mom taught me how. I served the food on the table before anyone shows up.

Once, the Alpha sits down, I have to put my head down, since he commanded me to put my head down whenever I see him. I can’t call him father any longer. I walked away from the table, since I am not allowed to have dinner with them. I’m in the kitchen cleaning it and good thing I made more than I’m supposed to. While waiting for them to finish, I’m cleaning the kitchen and I’m thankful that I never got hit by anyone. Except for Trevor, whom is my brother’s best friend and about to be Beta. Claire my only friend in the pack noticed and she ran to me. “Rach, what happened?” “Trevor pushed me against the cabinet and I felt dizzy.” “Let’s put ice on your head and go back to your room.” “Thanks Claire.” “You welcome and see you tomorrow.” I’m in my room laying down with the ice pack on my head. I see my left wrist that has a bruise. I felt so alone.

The next morning, I end up waking up at 5 am to start cooking breakfast for everyone. As usual, I don’t get to eat until everyone finishes. I’m done cooking and all of the food is on the table. Everyone starts eating and I’m in the kitchen started cleaning up. I heard the pack slut calling for me. “Hey bitch, I want orange juice.” I just looked at her with a smirk and ignored her. I guess my brother saw it and he walks, up to me. “Rachel, you better give Hailey her drink.” “She can get it herself.” After I said that, I felt a hard slap on my left cheek. I put my hand on it. I looked at my brother and he never hurt me. I looked at him straight in the eyes with my tears going down. I can see that he regrets what he did, but hid it right away. I grabbed the juice from the fridge and brought it out to Hailey. “Once I’m Luna, you will be out of this pack, you fat ass w****.” I just look at my brother to see if he would say anything to Hailey. I guess I was wrong.

Finally, I started cleaning everyone’s mess from the table and there wasn’t anything left. I guess I will be starved. I felt that someone is trying to mind link me. I’m cleaning everyone’s rooms, since it’s part of my duties. I’m getting tired and I hear Trevor talking to Hailey. They are planning some stuff that I don’t want to know about. I walked away from that floor. “Babe, there are rogues on the south side.” “Okay, we can’t do anything.” “None of the warriors or patrols about it. I showered after cleaning my room and I have my towel around my body. By the way, I haven’t eaten for a week and my body is getting slow.

Alpha announced to everyone that he will be passing Alpha to Patrick this Friday night. Everyone cheered about the announcement. “Great on my birthday.” I heard my father calling me. “Rachel, you will be cleaning the ballroom, since there is where the celebration will be at and you will be cooking for the event. I want the place to have decorations and make sure everything is clean. Oh yeah, all the Alpha’s with their Lunas will be coming. Make sure their rooms are clean. Don’t forget to put refreshments in their rooms.” “Yes, Alpha.”

I started cleaning the fourth floor for the visitors and there are about six rooms for me to clean. I’ve been busy the whole day cooking and decorating the ballroom. I have help of course with the Omegas. I’m in my room reading my book that my mom left for me. I can hear what things are going on. I walk to the window and I see the other pack members showing up.
