Chapter 1 The Unknown

The hallways were very dark, with lots of doll babies hanging all around. It was such a strange sight to behold because everything I had come across was stained with blood Only one of the dolls was not stained.

As I made my way deeper into the mansion the sound of dripping water could also be heard from afar, as I followed our gang leader whose name is Scorpion. A splash was heard as we all paused at the same time. Darkness loomed around us as we walked past the hallways of the abandoned castle. It was rumored that anyone who enters there doesn't come out alive from there.

I knew going on this mission was a bad idea, as I bent my head down to recite the lord's prayer. One of the gang members said he knows who the mystery man is apart from the fact that they are not from the same colony. I told them going into this house was not a good idea. Whoever had lived here had lots of enemies, and that was what brought about their destruction.

Why should we go and clean up their mess? I whispered, clearly and frustrated.

"So what of the innocent neighbors who want to find out what is going on? They killed their children, for crying out so loud!" Another member of the gang whispered reprimanding.

It was their fault for not minding their business Tops replied angrily who goes into a house that is being haunted by God's knows what. At least one of the children had a phone and would it have hurt if they had called the police when they realize that they were in danger.

The other members of the gang remained silent knowing that what Tops said was the truth.

"Shhh!" Scorpion reprimanded eyeing angrily. We immediately got a hold of our guns ready to fight anything that comes out knowing full well that today might be our last day here on earth. As we all patrolled slowly into the castle we saw more dolls that were clothed with blood. Whoever did this/has an affinity for mirrors. There was a lot of destruction but the mirrors that were present were left intact. All of a sudden, the house shooked as we all stilled and poised for attack. But we didn't see anything whatever attacked us was not human we started shooting randomly hoping to hit whatever it was that have come to attack us. I tried looking around the room as I examine what the monster was all of a sudden.......
