Isabella is an example of the word special. In a whole generation of wolves behind her, no one has ever seen, heard or recorded of a wolf becoming the mate of a god. No in the wolf kingdom, no kingdom at all. The thing is that gods don't have mates but Isabella is made for him. He is bonded to her and she to him. This is the story of a princess and a god.

Chapter 1 Prologue

“That’s what she told me. Minerva doesn’t tell lies, she’s a fey too, remember.” The Moon Goddess’s eyes narrows immediately at the other gods in the room but particularly on Fate. “You know that so why deny what I am telling you.”

The person she refers to scoffs at her.

“Because of the exact words she said. That we are in a book and we are like puppets, being controlled by someone? It sounds even more humorous as I say it. Are you sure you aren’t doing this to get back at me for your daughter’s situation?”

The Moon Goddess can’t believe her ears. Her rage rises up immediately and her hands tighten on her chair, breaking a piece of it in the process.

“Are you sure that you should really be called ‘Fate’ at all.”

“Just stop, please guys.” One of the gods groans, not knowing what to say to stop their bickering. “Fate please relieve what you did to Selina’s daughter. If this will bring about some problems then find another way.”

He turns to the Moon Goddess who hasn’t lost her touch in glaring.

“And Selina, I do believe you but it also sounds unreal. I will look into it personally. Now please, can we have our lunch together in peace. I didn’t invite you all here to break down my house.”

The table remains silent as do the rest of the gods… but it’s only for a while. Destiny’s fingers wrap around the body of her glass of wine and she brings it to her lips with her mischievous eyes flicking around.

“I am a bit surprised that a number of you came. Fate, Selina, myself and my honey bunch.”

“It’s just a little get together. We don’t have half of the gods here, Destiny. Please don’t make a big show out of it.”

Destiny shrugs at the god’s -or as she calls him, her honey bunch’s- response.

“At least he accepts his creatures and blah blah blah blah…”

They all turn to the female who appears out of nowhere, seated on one of the free chairs in the room. Her hair packed into an elegant bun with her dark skin glittering as she lays on the chair, her legs dangling out of it.

All the gods become alert, ready to attack if she tries anything. Selina, just sits still and watches the show. They have no idea who she is and how she got here which is odd. They are gods, they know everything in the universe.

“It’s really hard to form a cool hyped sentence in these situations but I always do it somehow.”

“And you are?” Fate asks, “And how did you get in here?”

“That’s exactly what I wanted to ask.” The god that Destiny calls ‘honey bunch’ narrows his eyes at the intruder.

The intruder that rolls her eyes at them and then sits straight.

“You guys have really out done yourselves. This chair is extra comfy.” She exhales with a smile. “I just love my creations, don’t you, Selina?”

The goddess the question is thrown to shrugs like it’s none of her business but in the next second her eyes narrows. “I don’t like one of your creations named Fate.”

Fate laughs out without humor. “Is this the one you’re talking about. The one who somehow created us, humans are creating supernaturals now.”

His sarcasm doesn’t go unnoticed by the writer and she scoffs. “Of course, when I give my creations the freewill they will turn away from me and think that they became gods on their own.”

The gods can only look at her in confusion. Confusion on what she is saying and confusion on why she is still in here.

“What is the human rambling about?” Destiny finally speaks and the answer she gets is a small smile from the writer.

“I am here to prove to you all about who I am and my first act, will be giving one of you a mate.”

Fate laughs out with humor this time. He can’t believe the human that stands before them.

“Gods don’t get mates, human.. We choose our partners.” Destiny responds, her eyes on the god seated close to her.

The writer stands on her feet as she begins to count, ignoring Destiny. “Who am I going to choose… oh ya, you!”

A smile is plastered on the writer’s face.
