JESSICA'S DAIRY

Josh was panting, he was confused he didn't know where you to find Jessica again

" what have I done to myself now?"

I did it so that we can be forever,why can't you wait for me. Josh murmured

He sat on her bed and noticed something is beneath the bed

He looked through and saw a bag, he pulled it out, it contained of Jessica's document,she searched the bag and found another pouch containing a dairy

He carried the dairy and flinched it, the first page, he saw JESSICA'S DIARY written in BOLD LETTER'S

She didn't use dairy, how come,he stared at it and continued flipping the diary.

He saw the page where the she wrote how my life journey started and ends.

Josh fidget immediately he sighted that word,what make Jessica to write this frightened word

Hope she has not done anything bad

"Jessica my love, am back,am sorry.come back home, he kept yelling emotionally, with no response

She flipped the diary and start reading the diary with tears settling down on his eyelids

The journey of my life started on the bridge of river thames, As My first foster parents narrated to me that there was heavy rain downfall that day on oct 1st 1994.

There is erosion everywhere and the cloud looked very dark which caused the atmosphere to be quiet

It happened to be around sundown, every houses are closed but my foster mum said something is drawing her to the river,

That is the river she disposed her refugees, she might have preferred disposing in the street because of the quiet atmosphere and the erosion

No one will know she disposed, she made up of mind to used the river

The bridge could have thrown me inside the Rivers because the rainwater outrank the bridge that fateful day.she was about to fling the refugees into the river, she stand on the bridge and she heard a fainted voice of a baby which is me.

She moves closer to me and check me out, had cried that I don't have strength to cry anymore

she touched me and realized I could give up soon, my foster mother is an auxiliary nurse before she was sacked, she know recognize a day old baby which happens am a day baby

She was surprised,that there still a wicked mother that will leave a day old baby on a bridge for rain to flushed her into river

.

She couldn't over the wickedness and she cursed my biological mother that dumped me just as she told me

She rushed me to the hospital treatment,I was admitted for a week which she stayed with me during this period, she was thankful my foster father travelled, she might not been able to stay with. Me throughout

she spent her last kobo to saved my life and I was discharged after a week and she took me home And become a good mother to me.

I was five years old when I realized my foster father never approved my foster mother of taking me in even though they didn't have any child of their own.

They argued often as a result of this

He constantly pestered and beat me of any faulty he disclosed

My Mummy is always there for me and cares for my wounds infected on me

One fateful day, my foster father beat me to the expanse, I passed out

It was my neighbor God used to saved me that day because my foster mother was not around.

When my mother came back and saw me with brushes, furthermore my neighbor explained my foster father deed to her

the neighbor yelled at my mum

" return the baby to her family , if your husband didn't like her staying with you"

I cried that day, because everyone hated me, no one approves my existence including my biological parents.

Mother couldn't take the trouble anymore, she stormed my foster father room angrily and confronted him

She told him, it was as a result of his wickedness that make God not bless us with a child.

In God's infinite mercy she gave me a child that is not your seed, rather of you pampering the child you still stretched your wickedness to her.

This word hit my foster father, she beat my foster mother that fateful day and dislocated the joint of my foster mother's hand.

My mother could have packed out of his house but have to stay for the betterment of my future.

She couldn't afford to send me to school but my father can

She stayed back in h house with consecutive abused on us since the first time he started hitting my foster mother he never stop it

Occasionally he comes home drunk, hit me, hit my foster mum

Forced himself on her though he never forced himself on me

He can rains scourge or beat me but he never abuse me with sex. he only forced my foster mother on that.

I blamed myself for my foster mother misfortune

They were a lovely couple before my arrived in their home

It was my arrival that bring misfortune into their home.

I wished I could run away by I don't have anyone to run to

I called my foster mother one day,

"Mum let packed out of this house, I don't like the way daddy is beating you" I don't want you to die"I lamented

Who will foot your school fees? because I don't have money to do that" Mummy said

"I will discontinue schooling," I told mummy

She didn't accept, she said I want you to become an important person in the future

Without schooling, it will be hard for you to become. she hugged me and whispered to my ears

" let continuing praying for change of heart for your daddy"

That's how the struggle and beating continue

Sometimes we will think daddy has changed, it was then he will bring another style of beating home

"I wished Mummy will let us leave him"
