"This ring is the true token of my love for you. I want, before those present and our children, for you to accept me as your husband. I want you to be my Mrs. Hamilton, my Roma-to see this ring when I wake up and know I have made the best decision of my life. To make you my wife. You are my world, Roma Parker. You are everything that is right in my life."
She hugged him tightly. It was incredible that this moment had finally arrived out of love. Everyone applauded and she stepped back slightly, extending her hand for her beloved to place the wedding ring on her finger. "You make me so happy, Esteban," she told him, and he stood up to give her a powerful hug.
"Long live the bride and groom!" Taylor exclaimed happily, and Miguel popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate.
Everything turned into even greater happiness. A Christmas that would remain etched in each of their lives. With the arrival of the twins and now the marriage, it would be a memory to treasure.
Esteban and Roma danced together to the rhythm of the music, while Roma's parents also danced, very much in love. Roma's mother was with her grandchildren, watching over them attentively. Taylor chatted animatedly with his boyfriend, occasionally turning to speak with Mrs. Parker. Meanwhile, Miguel was sweating like never before.
"Is something wrong?" asked Carla, who could no longer contain her curiosity.
"Carla... I was wondering-" He swallowed hard and went silent.
"What is it, Miguel? You're pale," she said, taking his hand.
"I, I was wondering if you... well, if you... want to be my girlfriend?" he asked with some trepidation. Carla smiled and then took a deep breath.
"You took your time, Miguel! Of course I want to be your girlfriend."
"Forgive the delay. I swear to you, Carla, that everything will be different. I'll have more time for you, I'll take care of you, and I'll make you happy."
"I know you will, my favorite grouch," she said, giving him a kiss full of love.
Roma and Esteban continued dancing together, lost in each other's gaze, more in love than two lovebirds. "You know," Esteban whispered, "I want to make love to you," he confessed, and she blushed. "I want it too, and that's what our trip is for, since we can't yet because the forty days of recovery haven't passed." "But you look perfect to me, please... I'm dying to make you mine!" He pulled her closer by the waist, and the body heat rose in Roma, who desired him just as much. "We still have three more children to make," he said, and her eyes went wide. "Three?" "Yes, darling. Imagine having three children, and of course, having my princess so her brothers can protect her. That way, with as many assets as we have, it won't be a burden for the twins." "I didn't think you wanted more children," she said, almost stuttering. "Don't you?" he asked, spinning her around before returning to the same position. "Of course I do! But let's take it slow, alright? For now, let's enjoy the babies, travel, and spend quality time just you and me." "I promise, but I'm warning you-on that cruise, I won't let you up for air," he said flirtatiously, and Roma gave a mischievous smile. They were two of a kind.
As time passed, they decided to marry. A simple wedding with the most important people in their lives. Esteban and Roma were the center of media attention because of the wedding and the twins, whom everyone said would carry on the legacy. Roma wore the dress of her dreams. A wedding by the sea just as she wished, while Esteban took care of absolutely everything.
Elite is managed by Roma. Her mother made the decision to work at Elite as well, opening the door to a new version of herself. Naturally, Esteban is always attentive to Elite, helping his wife. And Alpha continues to grow, and every day Esteban imagines his sons taking his place.
The trip Roma planned was perfect-a good time for the two of them, where Roma clearly became pregnant, unplanned and without either of them knowing it yet. They are at the very front of the ship, enjoying the fresh air and the smell of the sea. The warm sun resting on them and, finally, a peace that renewed them both.
"Never let go of my hand, Roma. Even if you see me as strong, or arrogant, or however else you know I am, don't let go. I need you; you are my pillar," Esteban said, hugging her from behind as they both looked out at the sea that seemed to have no end. "I will never let go, my love. You are the man who holds this family together and makes sure we want for nothing. I love you and I will never stop loving you." She felt it when Esteban gave her a little kiss on the neck, and her skin tingled. "You know... this peace made me want us to go to our suite and get some massages." "Esteban!" she blushed.
"We're going to keep enjoying our time alone, because I'm sure there is much more story to tell. The Hamilton-Parker legacy is coming; we'll see what life brings us with our children." Roma agreed and walked away like a teenager beside her husband, who swept her up in his arms to carry her to their love nest.
