IN LOVE WITH MY MAFIA EX
IN LOVE WITH MY MAFIA EX

"Ten thousand dollars!" The speaker yelled, raising his cane high in flair, and addressing the crowd of rowdy bidders.
An old man with white bushy brows and snake-like eyes raised his placard.
"Is that all? Come on, people. Look at her," the speaker said, as he gripped my chin, pulling it up roughly and making me face the crowd. "Look at this skin, so smooth and lightly tanned like caramel, those lips. You can bet they give great blowjobs," he joked loudly. Causing me to grimace as the bidders snickered.
His hand moved away from my chin, lower until it rested directly on top of my cleavage.
His hand felt cold and slimy, like I was being rubbed against a dead, rotting fish. I wanted to vomit from the unwanted touch, I wanted to slap him and use the cane he was holding to hit his head until his skull split open, but Madam Dubois's voice rang deep in my head.
My brother. My sweet Rowan. He'd been my only salvation since the day I'd been forced into prostitution. My only ray of light on days when I'm chained in by clouds.
He's my only source of strength and ๐ฌ๐๐๐ ๐ฃ๐๐จ๐จ.
Weakness Dubois knew how to exploit to make me 'behave', to make me beg, and to make me sleep with every disgusting man she'd forced my way.
"And look at these tits," the speaker continued his rambling, his slimy hand still on my cleavage. "A D cup at most. Think about how much fun you can have with her, let me hear your bids!" His voice boomed loudly as the crowd of men started yelling over each other.
They all eyed me like I was a piece of meat. A prize they were trying to snatch and devour. That was exactly what I was. A lamb up for slaughter. If I don't get sold tonight, Rowan would suffer. I would rather kill myself than let that happen.
"Twenty thousand dollars!" A bidder yelled, getting the speaker's attention long enough for him to take his sickening hand off me. I exhaled a breath I didn't even know I was holding.
"We have a twenty! Can someone give me a thirty?!" He questioned expectantly.
"Thirty-five thousand dollars," another bidder yelled.
"Oh, this is getting interesting! We have a thirty-five! Can someone give me a forty?!"
"Forty thousand dollars!" An overexcited middle aged man yelled, pumping his placard up and down like a sugar high child.
"And we have a forty!! Can I get a forty-five?" He asked, then scanned the crowd. No one had their placards out except for the man-child. "Forty going once, forty going twice," no one raised a placard.
I sighed, looking at the man that would most likely be my new owner as I awaited the speaker to say the last words and seal the deal.
"Forty going thrice-"
"Fifty thousand dollars," a new bidder raised up his placard and announced calmly to the shocked crowd.
He was an old man (like most of the men here), his balding head sported liver spots and he wore simple rimmed glasses that covered icy blue eyes, with a black formal suit and tie to give off the impression of elegance. He looked more like a pastor or some holy man than someone who participated in brothel biddings.
Though I suppose that was his method of luring girls in before he took them to a red room filled with dildos and fuzzy handcuffs or something.
"Okay, fifty going once, fifty going twice, fifty going thrice, gone!" The speaker announced excitedly, grabbing my arm and facing me toward the bidder.
"This whore is sold for fifty thousand dollars!" He hollered, then threw me at the direction of the bidder-my new owner, and spoke. "Enjoy your price, sir."
The crowd went wild as I landed on all fours in front of the man. He grabbed my chin and examined me, his new product. "Ah yes, you will make an excellent new toy." He whispered, his voice as cold as his eyes, and his breath as putrid as raw sewage.
I gulped. Trying my best not to react. The only thing keeping me from crying at my situation was the thought that Rowan would be free now that I'd been sold.
Dubois had promised, ๐๐ I was sold at an acceptable price.
I'd always wondered what I'd be worth one day if Dubois decided to sell me, this night I'd found out that I was worth fifty thousand dollars. Though that seemed too much for a used bitch like me.
My owner let go of my chin as his hand reached for my chest. He squeezed my breast, and it took everything in me not to recoil in disgust.
๐ต๐๐๐๐กโ๐, ๐ ๐๐๐๐ก๐. ๐ต๐๐๐ ๐๐ก. ๐น๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ค๐๐'๐ ๐ ๐๐๐.
I couldn't afford to jeopardise this.
"I can't wait to see you without any of this on-"
Before he could finish his sentence, a bullet sliced through the air and went into his head. I gasped and paled in horror as I watched blood ooze freely from the spot as his body slumped to the floor. ๐ฟ๐๐๐.
More bullets followed as gunshots boomed around the hall like firecrackers. The bidders were dying, getting pelted by bullets as they tried to run. I saw men in black suits from the corner of my eye, shooting the bullets back and forth.
I scrambled up to my feet and averted the hail of bullets as I manoeuvred past them. No one paid notice to me now as they scrambled for their lives.
๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ก๐๐๐๐ , ๐ ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐กโ๐๐ ๐๐๐โ๐ก.
I rushed past the stage, running backstage as fast as I could. I needed to get Rowan away from here.
Dubois would be too panicked like everyone else to notice. I needed to act now.
I found my little brother, cowering beside a truck in what looked like a garage with Dubois as she navigated her men, who dragged little boys with them, throwing them like rag dolls into the truck.
I ran toward my brother and watched him fall into my arms. I hugged him tight and ran a calming hand through his silky brown hair.
He was shaking, his body wrought with fear.
Dubois's green eyes met mine as they glowered at me with contempt.
"What do you think you're doing? Let go of my merchandise." She hissed as she pulled Rowan away from me with great brutality.
I looked at her with disbelief. "What do you mean? He's not your property anymore!" I spit back. Raising my voice at Dubois for the first time. Her lips twitched in anger and I felt great satisfaction.
"The deal was for you to get sold before he's freed," she said, her voice cold as ice.
"I did! The winning bidder was shot and killed." A gunshot rang out, as if verifying my point.
"Yes. He got killed before he paid, therefore you're still not sold," she paused, letting her words wash over me. "And he's still ๐ข๐๐ฃ๐." She added smugly.
"What? No! You can't," Rowan started, earning a slap from Dubois for speaking up.
"Don't hit him, you witch!" I yelled,
Lunging forward to return the slap on her overly powdered face.
I was yanked back by a hand and slapped instead. It was one of her goons. He quickly injected something into me with a needle and tossed me to the floor like trash.
Rowan crouched by my side, but she pulled him up before he got a chance to touch me.
"Take him to the truck, Raul. There's no time to waste." She told the goon, who immediately manhandled Rowan and tossed him into the truck as he screamed and kicked for release.
I tried to get up, tried to grab my little brother, tried to draw him close before I lost sight of him. But it was too late.
My legs gave out when I stood, and my breaths became laboured puffs.
"R-Rowan," I stammered weakly as the truck's door started to close.
"Rena!" He yelled after me, tears streaming down his cheeks. "RENA!!" He yelled again, this time louder as the door fully closed.
๐๐จ.
Another gunshot rang out, this time closer.
"Quickly to the truck, Raul. We have to get to Italy before..." Dubois's voice trailed off in my head as black spots started to eat away at my thoughts and vision.
I heard the truck start and speed out of the garage. With my little brother and so many other boys in it.
๐๐. ๐ผ โ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ก๐...
The remainder of my thoughts were brought to a halt after I heard another gunshot, it was so close it sounded right behind me. If it was, I hoped it would kill me. I hoped whoever it was ended my existence before the drug in my system did. I would rather die by gunshot than by anything forced into me by Dubois.
I felt a light tap on my shoulder before the world started spinning, and everything went black.
