ELLA MARTYR POV:
I was seated there at the club lounge, gulping drinks like my life depended on them. The party was
blur with dimmed lights, the music blasting my ears but it all felt good, if not better than home.
The laughter, the dance, the alcohol, I was having fun.
Soon the music became boring, I felt the urge to go home, my head was aching. I turned around
to search for Maya but she was nowhere to be found.
I decided to head home without her. "She is an adult she can find her way back." I murmured.
I dragged my drunk self through the crowded room.
"Leave my way" I cursed at everyone who stood in my way.
I found the door, I checked my pulse for phone, took it out. I saw several missed calls from Romeo.
"Son of bitch I cursed". I was wreaked of Alcohol.
I staggered through the road, dragging myself home. I was hoping to get a taxi soon.
The night was cold and breezy. The road was lonely for a young drunk spinster like me.
I walked carefully as fear engulfed me, I suddenly wished I had stayed back and waited for Maya.
I clanged to sweater for warmth as it was the only thing that could comfort me.
I was few miles away from the club when suddenly I felt a hand gripped me. I panicked and tried to
Break free the grip but it was strong. They hushed me and tried to make their way through me.
I called them the night monsters. I've heard Stories about them and what they do to their victims.
I tried put up a fight with them. Obviously, I couldn't out beat them.
I screamed for help!
Suddenly a mysterious figure emerged from the shadows. "Leave her alone!"
His voice was deep and soft.
They stooped as they stared into the dark alley trying to figure out who the dark figure was, in that
suspense my face whittled in fear, confusion but it ignited a glimpse of hope.
They scoffed at this figure, as they headed towards him. Soon they were all wincing in pain on the
ground.
"Get out!" He ordered.
They scampered away for their lives. Whoever this was; He was skilled.
He fought with ease. His movements were swift and precise.
"My hero" I murmured still drunk.
"Are you okay?" He asked, helping me up.
I nodded still dazed. "Will you marry me"?
He looked at me with a smile on his face. "You are drunk fella".
"Let me take you home". He offered, his voice was gentle and soothing.
It sounded like that of a girl.
I hesitated, of course I won't let a stranger take me in his arms but then I thought to myself.
"He just saved your ass bitch". I gave in.
He scooped me up and headed towards his vehicle. I fell as sleep in his arms, it was warm and soft.
I woke up on his couch. I felt a slight headache as I stood up trying to figure out where I was and
how I got there, then the memories of what happened 1hour ago came flooding back. I was in my
hero's apartment.
The lights were turned on. "You are awake." Are you usually this drunk and careless?
He asked with zero expression on his face as he went in to his room. There was something off
about him.
I was just sitting there stunned; his apartment was beautiful. I admired the sleek, modern space
filled with art work.
My eyes widened as I took in the painting on his wall. Beautiful, naked women, their curves and
breasts masterfully captured. A portrait captured my attention.
I moved towards it then his voice distracted me.
"What are you doing?"
"Your paintings are pretty." I complimented.
"Thank you." He muttered.
He made me sit on the couch, gave me a pill for the hangover and started tending to my wounds
with a gentle touch. His fingers brushed against mine, sending shivers down my spine and my
breath in suspense.
I stared at him as he nursed me back to health. He looked up at me.
"Are you okay?"
I nodded positively and he continued.
His eyes were pretty. They sparkled like diamonds. He looked up at me again to make sure he
wasn't causing much pain. Our eyes locked, I could hear my heart beat fast.
"Who are you?" I suddenly summoned courage breaking the awkward silence between us.
He smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
"That's weird." I thought to myself.
"I'm Estella." He responded, his voice low and husky.
I gasped, my eyes widening in shock.
"Estella?"
"Yes Estella; is there a problem?"
"Nah." I said faking a smile on my face.
He could sense the confusion on my face. He took off his black hoodie. I was astonished.
The mysterious hero I thought was a man it's a Lady!
My jaw dropped.
Lots of questions came running to my mind. How was it possible that she took out four men with
ease?
She is one hell of a hero. I wanted to ask her to teach me her skills but I kept the silly thoughts to
myself.
She let her messy blonde hair drop on her shoulders. She swung her hair which gave me a clearer
view of her face.
Damn!
She is pretty!
Her chocolate skin glowed in the light. Her eyes were magical, she looked like a siren. She is a
perfect description of a Goddess.
I drooled.
She saw how astonished I was and smiled.
"Are you okay?"
Ye..ah, I am. My voice trembled.
She took my breath away. I stared closely at her as she took care of my legs.
Our eyes met again and I felt a spark of attraction.
Her eyes glimmered as she leaned in for a kiss, her lips brushing against mine releasing an
overwhelming sensation through my body. It was a soft, gentle kiss.
I felt my world melt away.
"You haven't told me your name."
Her voice drew me back to reality. I was dreaming or probably the alcohol was still effective.
"I am fucking straight." I screamed in my mind.
"Hey are you there?"
"Huh! Yeah". My voice trembling again.
I could swear she have noticed the influence she had on me. I flushed.
My pants were already soaked and the juices were dripping beneath my thighs.
"What's your name?" She asked again staring into my soul.
Gosh those eyes were intimidating. I couldn't even keep a contact for a minute.
"I'm Ella Martyr." I managed to say.
"Ella Martyr? Sounds familiar. You have a nice name". She said smiling.
I smiled.
I have never felt this way for a woman before, but there was something about Estella that drew me
In. Maybe it was her strength or bravery.
"Her boyfriend must be lucky." I said that out.
"I'm sorry".
"it's fine dear. I don't have a boyfriend."
"What? Why? You are so pretty how come you are single? I asked curious.
She smiled. "I guess you will have to figure that out yourself." She said as she wiped my face with a
towel.
Whatever this was, I felt a burning desire whenever she came close to me.
She looked at me with a concerned look on her face. "You are sweating."
She wiped my face with her palm. Our faces were close. I could feel her warm breathe on my face.
My heart skipped again.
I secretly wished that her heart shaped lips will meet with mine.
"You should get some rest". She said pulling away from the intense gaze.
I nodded.
She laid me down on the sofa, covering me up in a blanket. Her hands slightly brushed against my
breast sending a sensual sensation through my body.
I moaned softly.
She stared at me and scoffed. "Silly one, Go to sleep now". she said as she patted my head.
"Goodnight".
My heartbeat paused at a moment, I wondered if she felt the spark between us. I couldn't tell
exactly what she felt through her eyes but I knew there was lots of hidden emotions beneath them.
I stared at her as she walked gracefully into her room.
I heard the door close. I couldn't take my mind off her I tried thinking about Romeo the only love
of my life but she just had a way of getting into my mind again. it just didn't feel right. I kept on
pondering on my little encounter with her and soon I drifted to sleep.
