He steps into the club and the aura shifts. The music dies down and everyone turns to look,no one dared meet his eyes. He is dressed in a black shirt, the sleeves folded to his elbow and the shirt hugs his muscle tightly. He perfectly mimick a body builder
. He as handsome as he always was. With his sharp cheekbones, grey eyes that seem to change to an icy blue when he's angry and those lips that seem to attract. His guards are with him,not that he needs any. He walks to the VIP suite at that was specially kept for him. The business associate were already waiting,no one dared come when he was already there. They stood up as he came. He took his seat and permitted them to sit.
*Ralph, get the gentleman said to his right hand man. The voice that sent shivers down your spine. Ralph nodded and existed the room.
*Now, let's begin the report, shall we?* Everyone shifted uncomfortably in their sits. Reporting to Mickel was one of the things they dreaded the most. if he didn't get the results he wanted, someone's head was going to be at the center of the table.
*Mr. Louie, why don't you go first* He turned to the man in his left. Louie cleared his throat and began.
*We've gotten more sales recently in the lower region in Chicago. The sales are running faster than we thought and demands are higher now. But we've been running into the authorities lately and it's been making sales slow.*
*How much percentage as we talking?* Mickel asked.
*About 67%
There was silence, the tension around was palpable. Louie clenched his fist to stop from shaking.
*67%* Mickel said slowly as if it was a new word and he was trying to taste it. *You mean to say that the sales on the drugs has diminished by 67%?* His voice was calm, terribly calm and nothing scared them more than that.
*What's being done about it?* He asked suddenly. Louie looked up at him,he was expecting to be pointed a gun or something.
*Well, we're settling with the cops and by the end of the month, we'd been back soon.*
Mickel nodded slowly.
The door to VIP room opened and Ralph returned with a waitress. she carried a tray filled with drinks. She began to serve them but something she had started at the rear and served Mickel last. He looked at her but said nothing.
*Anything else I can get for you gentlemen?* she asked, her voice calm and composed.
Mickel stared at her, and for the first time in all his years,he thought
"She's beautiful"
*There's nothing else, you may go.* He said.
She turned and walked away. The meeting continued and after an hour, every one dispersed. Mickel made his way to the bar area and finding a secluded booth,he sat down. He watched the dancers on stage, their body movements and agility but he seemed immune. And he saw her again, the way she walked and carried herself. The confidence in her movements was undeniable.Who was she?.
*Ralph, tell that waitress to get me a drink?* He said. Ralph followed his eyes and went to meet her. They spoke indistinctly and a nod of the head towards Mickel's direction. She approached him.
*Do you mind telling me what you want?* she asked, warm smile on her face.A smile fir every customer at the club. He smirked
*I want you* he said simply. She didn't show any reaction at his words.
*Would you prefer a cock tail?* she suggested.
*Those are for pussies* He answered. *if course* she agreed.it was her job.
*How about vodka?* She said. *I'm not in pain sweetie.* He said, the smirk still in his face.
she wasn't happy about this but she wasn't showing it. 'All these darn bastard trying to make my job harder ' she said to herself.
*A martini then or you prefer wine* she asked out loud, trying to maintain the smile. *No* He said again. she took a deep breath.
*Please tell me exactly what you want* Her voice had tightened and that didn't escape him.
He grinned, clearly having fun.
*I want you,it's as simple as that*
*I'm sorry but that's impossible* she told him.
*I can make it possible, how much?*
She raised and eye brow clearly frustrated. *I'm not for sale* she said.
*Everything is for sale, sweetheart. So tell me how much it's cost me to have you serve me at home.* He licked his lower lip making his intentions clear. She scoffed.
*you can send for me when you're ready to order, but excuse me for now, I have others to attend to.* she turned to leave but he grabbed her wrist and pulled her forward..she ended o his laps, his face merely inches away from her.
*You smell good* he whispered, his breath hit against her face. Her face flushed but she pushed him and stood up..Before anyone knew what was happening, a loud sound echoed across the room. *You bastard!!* she screamed. she had slapped him, hard enough to draw out blood. Mickel's fingers trailed to his lips as he touched the trail of blood,he smirked. His guard tried to hold her but he signaled them not to. He stood up ,his 6,7 height towering over.
His eyes darkened but they weren't the icy blue of anger, they were more like sapphire blue. *That's quite bold of honey. For that sort of thing you'd be dead already*.
*Fuck off* she spat. The whole club was silent. Everyone's thoughts were simply she was dead and if Mickel left her alive, she had a far worser faith. But he intrigued.
*You do know who I am, don't you?*
*Yeah and so what? You don't scare me. Mickel Vandolf, the most heartless man to ever exist. You're not a god.* she said .
He wasn't smirking now, he was smiling and then a laugh. A very genuine laugh. No one had seen him do that, no one. And she had called him by his name to his face. That amazed him, no one dared call his name and he likes how it sounded with her voice
*I like you, and when I like something I want it. So I'm going to have you. whether you like it or not.*
She stood on her tip toe, inching herself to reach his height but still couldn't.
*I'd like to see you try* And she walked off, swaying her hips in defiance. He chuckled.
*What a woman, what a challenge* And with that he left the club his guards following behind and everyone left with the thoughts of what just happened and what the fate of the waitress who just stood up to Mickel Vandolf would be.
Sitting at the back of his Mercedes, he said to Ralph who was driving.
*I want to know everything about her, from her time of birth to her present age, her like and dislikes, the men she's dated, everything.*
*Yes boss* Ralph answered.
The smile on his face refused to disappear.
*She has pretty eyes* he whispered to himself.
