"It could not possibly be a stupid, dirty omega now, could it?" He grinned as he leaned forward to swipe her special lock note from her trembling grip, and Aria could barely swallow her cry of despair.
People were beginning to gather, it was becoming out of control, and what was worse? She was about to lose her best friend token from Renera. It was all in all turning out to be a terrible day.
Her hands trembled, sweat beading on her forehead. Her chest rising and falling rapidly as her eyes darted around, searching for an escape.
When confronted with a beta or an alpha, be quick to submit, Aria. Her mother's voice fluttered through, like the answer she was desperately searching for.
"I'm sorry, perhaps you are right. I do not belong here, I was led to believe I had a fair chance. Give me back my book, and I'll be on my way." Aria looked at him carefully, with pleading eyes.
Do not try to cut a bargain. Her mother had warned, but Aria was past listening. She would get that book back, she had to.
He didn't bother hiding his revulsion as his nose wrinkled, and his upper lip curled. Taking a deliberate step back, his eyes narrowed at the offending sight of Aria sweating profusely, as he tore her notebook apart in front of her and dumped the fragments over her head.
"How can an Omega even dare to think about learning?!" He turned to the boys behind him and said, "Teach her a lesson!"
Before She could even feel sad, she was pushed hard by one of the boys and fell against the wall, scraping her arm. He snatched her pencil, and as she tried to grab it back, another boy kicked her hard in the chest, causing a sharp pain to course through her body.
The pencil was handed to jerry. With barely any effort, he snapped it into two pieces and threw the remains in front of Aria, and from her disadvantaged position curled up on the floor, all she could see was the twisted snarl on his face, too complicated for a young boy to have, but perhaps Jerry was different. He always contained a certain darkness.
Her tears fell on the ground as She picked up the broken pencil and looked at Jerry with red rimmed eyes, the lids lowered in pain and submission.
"All I have ever wanted was to learn. Is that so wrong? Must I be made to die for it?"
For a young child with the belief that they could be anything, being an omega was the worst, because it tells them precisely what they were. Nothing.
Jerry paused for a moment as he seriously contemplated her question. Aria was not surprised though. Most of her peers had no idea why they bullied her, they just did it anyway, and her questions were meant with a punch to the eye, or solar plexus.
"Omegas are not worthy," He finally concluded, looking at her with an assurance of superiority and gritted out,
"Don't let me see you in school again, Aria, otherwise I'll make sure that it won't be just a pencil that's broken next time!"

Aria bolted, her breath coming in ragged gasps. Feet pounding against the pavement, she didn't dare look back. All that mattered was getting away. She came to a stop by a strange river, the cool water calling out to her parched throat. She drank the clear water from the river and sat down on the bank to rest. It was then that She realized she had already run out of the Bloodfang territory.
Tears blurred her vision, but fear kept her feet moving, "I can't stop. I can't break down now. But what if there's no way out?" The thought squeezed her chest tighter than her sobs ever could., and she cried with her head buried in her arms.
Taking a step further, she heard voices which sounded like a whisper.
"Hey girl, you alright?" A strange voice startled her from behind with its slivery hypnotic sound, almost like the hissing of a snake, or the soft sound of the grass as it rattled along.
She looked up at the source of the voice and saw a boy who appeared to be a few years her senior, as was apparent at first glance, but after a second or third look into the slanted cunning of his silver eyes, arched even higher by perfectly sculpted sliver brows framed perfectly by silky silver strands of hair, then he suddenly seemed many years her senior.
Although he was dressed in a simple white shirt and black casual pants, his appearance exuded an elegant Greek temperament. She had never met anyone like him before, which made her stare at him blankly, unsure if he was predator or prey.
"Are you a rogue?" Aria couldn't help but speak what was on her mind, it was a problem.
"Haha..." The smile that he gave her radiated a warmth that seemed to heal her as he walked towards her, but as she watched him approach the only thought she had was that demons were once angels.
"My name is Luke, Are you lost?"
Luke took out a navy blue checkered handkerchief from his pocket and handed it over to her, gesturing for her to wipe away the sweats that had accumulated on her forehead.
"I've been exploring this forest lately and I'm quite familiar with it. If you're lost, I can help you find your way home." He offered with a saccharine smile, and Aria hedged back slightly, the fine hairs on her arms rising to attention.
"Thank you, but I'm not lost." She took the handkerchief and wiped away her sweat. "I can find my way home just fine" She added.
His eyes shone brightly, the startling color baring a vivid resemblance to a sparkling river at dawn. But at the same time emanating a kind of dark aura, like a dilapidated castle hidden beneath a shroud of cold mist. He was danger, but the magnetic kind.
"My name is_" She parted her lips to speak-but then she saw the way his eyes darkened, the warning in his clenched jaw.
'No. Say nothing.' Her throat tightened as she swallowed the words back down.
"If he finds out... No, he can't. He mustn't." Her stomach twisted, her pulse hammering as the thought took hold. "What would he do to me?"
He had no aura to him, nothing to link him to his bloodline, and that made Aria all the more wary.
She kept her expression neutral, carefully choosing her next words."Can I explore with you?"
"Of course! I would love to have a partner in crime." He answered with a bright smile spreading across his face. It was a smile of acceptance to young Aria, it held no malice or discrimination, just an invitation to flirt with danger, and so she accepted the offer.
She laughed in her dream, weightless, happy-until the ground beneath her cracked open. Then she was falling, screaming, until-
Her eyes snapped open. Her heart pounded. The warmth of the dream still clung to her, but so did the icy claws of terror.
It was a dream, one she repeatedly had. But whenever she woke up, the face of the magnetic young man faded away like mist in sunlight.

Life as an omega had never been easy for Aria, she was always bullied everywhere she went. She had no one to rely on but she was grateful she had her parents.
She slipped out of her room, the clucking sound of the hen could be heard as she padded toward the kitchen for a glass of water. But the moment she turned the corner, she froze. Her breath hitched, her fingers tightening around the doorframe as she wished-desperately-that she had stayed in bed.
"What's going on here?"
Aria asked as she saw countless people gathered in her house with dull and sad expressions written all over their faces. It was strange. They were usually avoided, but seeing the pack members suddenly intruding in her space was unnerving.
As she stepped forward, the light revealed the scene before her-two bloody bodies lying motionless at the center of the circle. Her breath caught in her throat. A cold chill rushed down her spine, and the glass slipped from her fingers, shattering against the floor, water pooling at her feet. But she didn't move. She couldn't. Her wide eyes remained locked on the horror before her
Her voice trembled as she stepped forward, her pulse hammering in her ears. "Dad? Mom?" The words barely left her lips, fragile and uncertain. Her feet felt heavy, yet she forced herself closer, disbelief tightening around her chest like a vice. This couldn't be real. This wasn't happening. But the closer she got, the harder it was to deny.
Their clothes were torn and tattered, and there were many whip marks on their bodies. The skin and flesh in many places were turned outwards, and in some places, bones could even be seen directly.
Dried blood covered their clothes and skin, making their faces even paler. They looked terrified, with their eyes unwillingly staring and their mouths wide open. From the terrible state of the bodies, she couldn't imagine what kind of torture they had endured before they died.
A numb haze swallowed her thoughts-everything else ceased to exist. Her mind went blank.
Dropping to her knees, she grasped at them with trembling hands, desperation fueling her strength. "Come on, get up!" she pleaded, her voice cracking as she pulled at their lifeless forms. But they wouldn't move. They wouldn't respond. And that terrified her more than anything.
"Why are you lying here? Get up!"
Their bodies had become cold and stiff, and She, a small and thin child, couldn't lift them up. And then she noticed that all their fingernails had been pulled out! Her whole body trembled uncontrollably, and tears fell from my eyes.
"No!!! Dad! Mom!"
A raw, guttural scream tore from her throat as she collapsed onto their bloodied bodies. She clung to them, her fingers digging into their lifeless forms, as if holding them tighter could bring them back. The agonized cry ripped through the night, echoing through the pack lands, a sound of pure, unfiltered grief that sent shivers down every spine.
