Under the stormy rain. I kept on running down the main road, drenched with water all over, scared, terrified, with no option but to keep on running. if I stopped, I'd surely die, for i forbid the devil, catching up to me on a night like this. why me?, why I'm i the one to fall victim. Along the road i saw a bright light, could it perhaps be that of an oncoming vehicle?. Filled with hope of a means to escape, i ran towards the light hoping for a ride far away from this cursed place. The hope I instantly held on to a moment ago was quickly shattered.
It wasn't a vehicle, but a well lit streetlight. On slowing down due to disappointment, i slipped on the wet tad road dislocating my foot, causing an intense pain. Instantly I screamed. Engulfed in frustration and fear, I knew only a miracle could save me, from the demon that chased me by this hour. Tears, gushed out from my eyes. "Some one help", I screamed in agony. But it was of no use, I was too far down the road, no buildings nearby, all that were present were this heavy storm, the darkness that accompanied night time and echo's of my call for help echoing back at me. Suddenly, i heard footsteps from behind. I turned, and behold, it was evil's-reincarnate, ready to place on me the same fate, which had befell upon my 3 friends, Carly, Steven and Martins.
"stay the fuck away from me", I yelled with all ounce of strength left in me. Running away was no longer an option for me due to my dislocated foot, Crawling was pointless, but anything to get away. It walked closer to me then "wham", an axe went through my stomach. i screamed in pain and terror.
"Please stop!!", "Who are you!!?", I yelled in tears. No amount of words could describe the amount of fear I found myself. It pulled its axe out of my stomach then spoke. "Sandra, don't cry". "you're too pretty to cry", "this is the day the lord has made, rejoice for you shall witness the beauty beneath it". "i warned you, didn't i?", "an eye for an eye, as the ancient would say". Then it rose its huge axe into the air once more. "please don't kill me, I'll do anything", i said as I could no longer bear the pain and terror which had befell on me. "is this how it ends", I thought within myself scared, terrified like never before. "i don't want to die", immediately, my whole life flashed before my eyes as I saw this unknown person's axe come straight for my head.
Wham!!, the axe gave a sound as it tore through my head and landed on my skull, blood splashed every where, leaving an unbearable pain as I died. The unknown figure took off its mask and behold it was a man. The only thing I could recognize, was its green dyed hair, then I blacked out.
I screamed as i opened my eyes, my heart pounding like I ran through fire, my lungs contracted as I gasped for breath intensely. I was in my living room, on top the couch. "What tha fuck just happened", I said to myself in confusion . Was it a dream?.
No, couldn't be, it felt so real I pondered deeply. At least, I'm glad its over, suddenly my attention drew to a clock on the wall. Oh shit, its 10:50 I'm going to be late. Swiftly i stood up, took my bag and went out. 10 minutes later, I arrived at the college of pure and revised art. Being a final year student at the age Of 26, it was a common character of every lady, to show-case what ever they were blessed with. Ass, boobs, figure or a pretty face even, and luckily for me I had it all. Everyday was always the same, I kept on getting asked out on dates by every guy who came across me, and that same every time, I kept my record of turning them down. I'm a model speck for fuck sake, a lady blessed with a magnificent figure and an endorsing appearance, a woman wanted by all, I can't handle the shakels of a one man bound, by being in a relationship, no. My class had a lot of mischievous students, some were rich, most broke, few popular, a lot of weirdos and the rest cyber bullied. But in all, 3 were my best friends, Carly, she's pretty with a figure and big bosoms, Martins, the school's most skilled, leading football player, then Steven, a tech genios. Today, was the end of the first semester, which we decided to celebrate with a party along with the rest of the class.
We headed out early in Martins's car, because the location was at the outskirts of town.
"Hey Sandra"," any plans during the party?", Steven asked. "Yeah Sandra, any plans?, because you are aware, most boys are going to try, and sleep with you tonight?", Carly added.
"Well Carly, I'm very much aware, what happens at night parties", "and yes Steven, I do have plans". "I'm just going to drink, and have some fun, that's it".
"Wow", "you make it sound so easy Sandra", Martins added as he continued driving. "What ever!", "you guys be talking like i haven't been at a party once?", you're so annoying i replied, with a blush on my face. "How about we cruise the mood with some jam, ma favorite "I'm home by Aurora"", Steven said as he slotted in a CD into the car's CD player.
we arrived at the outskirts of town, then began heading towards where the party would take place, when I noticed some thing strange. It was a streetlight and for some reason it looked familiar. Wow, that's a well lit street light, Martins said looking through the driver-seat window. Indeed the streetlight was well lit and bright by this evening time. Where have I seen it before?, I pundered.
"What's wrong?", Steven asked as he noticed the confused expression on my face. "Oh it's nothing" I replied. "Its a beautiful day the lord has made Sandra, it won't kill to smile a little" Carly added. Those words sent chills down my spine for some odd reason, so I took a little nap to stop my stressed out mind. I opened my eyes, it appeared that we were already at the apartment, and, it seemed the party had already started a long time ago. "Hey Sandra, you're awake, have you had drinks yet?, this party is awesome", Martins said holding a bottle of alcohol and cups in his hand. Thanks, I replied as i took a cup from his hand. "Hey, what's on your hand?", I asked him as I noticed, his hands were green. "Oh its dye, this crazy chick brought a bunch load of green glow dye, and everyone has it on em". "Come on Sandra you should get some", Martins said as he poured some alcohol from the bottle into my cup. "no thanks, I'm good", I replied hastily. For some reason, I couldn't lay my eyes off the green dye on his hands. I had a strange unsure feeling about the dye meaning something, but, I couldn't figure out what made me have a sudden interest towards it. So I asked Martins, where Steven and Carly was, then, he said they were both outside, so I took the cup of alcohol, and decided to go meet them. I came outside but they weren't there.
Maybe, they went somewhere to make-out or something, I thought within myself, but based on the series of uncertainties I've been experiencing, i wasn't comfortable, so I decided to go look for them.
15 minutes had passed, and I still couldn't find them, and it started to rain, which made me more worried, so I began to yell out their names, but still no answer. As I decided to turn back to the apartment, I heard a sound. It was coming from a bush nearby, so, I decided to check it out, and, the next thing I saw, scared the living daylight out of me. Behind this noisy bush was Steven. He was barely alive, butchered into pieces. His hands, dissected out of his body and is legs chopped in pieces, but not separated from the rest of his body. His head was so broken he was almost unrecognizable. His chest was divided open. What ever had done this was not human. Immediately i screamed, fell to the ground in terror, then stood up to run for help. As I ran towards the apartment, I heard my name from behind, and behold it was Carly, covered in blood.
Sandra, you have to save me, its after me, she yelled as she cried like a terrified child. Carly, what happened?, why are you covered in blood?, who's coming?. Then she held me and said, I don't know, it grabbed Steven and started pounding on him with an axe. What?, Carly calm down, who's doing this?, suddenly I heard a sound, like the snapping of a metal thread, and at an instant, Carly's head, exploded, leaving all of her remaining brain matter and blood on my face, hair and dress.
What just happened?, my eyes wide open as I could not fully comprehend what just happened in front of me.
My heart started to pound fast, my lungs tighting as i slowly gasped for air and my pupils dilated, instantly I screamed at the top of my voice. In that instant i was total engulfed and taken over by fear.
I've never, felt so terrified in my life...
