Row row row your boat, gently on the stream,............ life is just a stream. Yeah the sound of students laughing and screaming and chatter brought me out of my endless though. "Hmm' scoffs..' I'm back'.

Walking through the hallway with students staring at me and whispering to one another was one thing I truly expected and the endless number of fingers pointed at me, and the bunch of teachers leaving their desk to come out of their office asking me how I've been and why in a wheelchair, oh yeah I forgot to tell you guys I was actually being wheeled in by my nurse, damn, moving up the stairs with this thing was no easy job. I wonder how much my parents must be paying to get a private nurse for me from that expensive hospital. But this was not what I was expecting my best friend, Julie, said this about me.

'when is Amy resuming' Olivia asked, turning around to ask all my friends.

' I heard she's moving out '

' heard she's sick and being admitted in the hospital '

'...... isn't she going to take up her senior exams'

'...... don't know Olivia '

"bang" was what we heard next, giving us a huge fright. ' she's scared of writing her exams cause she knows she is going to fail..errrrr' a short black boy popularly know as shortest said laughing like a maniac.

' mark, have you gone mad; why do you have to hit on the desk like that, is something wrong with you.' Olivia angrily questioned.

' let him be he's just paranoid '

' paranoid how..', ' yeah how..', ' how..' the girls asked in unison looking at Monica

' ahhh, is it me oh you guys are forgetting todays the first day of the exam and he's scared cause he didn't get to sit with Jericho, or Olivia or even amy.' oh it's true. They all started laughing till Olivia stopped. ' so guys Amy is really going to miss her exams, pray she comes.

' wait, Julie you are Amy are friends and you live in the same neighborhood didn't you see her at least to ask if she's gonna come for the exam' they all just turn towards Julie all at once hoping to get an answer.

"Well guys I didn't want to say this but I have to, you see Amy got pregnant for a guy who lives around the neighborhood and her parents said it was a disgrace for them and had to move her over to her aunt's place " Julie answer justly. while most of them shouted, the rest had their mouth shut with their hands.

' really no wonder we haven't heard from her '

' damn, I mean Amy of all people'

' who would have thought she could be like that, pretending to be a nice and innocent girl'

' well, she's gonna be a school dropout now, I wonder how she's gonna cope now, mark said standing up with his hands pointed to all the girls going forth and back ' you guys are going to end up like that one day, just the way am..' he paused with his hands in hair and later asked Julie with his hands still hanging out in the hair ' are you sure of what you are saying Julie.

' what, did you think I will be lying, really why would I be lying against Amy, Julie said with her hands crossed above her chest, ' seriously I asked her brother and he was the one who told me' she continued. But the whole class just went silent, and she was having mixed feelings, thinking that one of them might have caught up with her lies or one of them might have already gone to ask her younger brother the whereabouts of Amy, no, she brushed that thought thinking that they couldn't have since her younger brother haven't been out lately and nobody's at home most of the time for some period of time. Really what might have happened, Amy's house have been so quiet for some time and her parents house have been going in and out for a while now, or could they be moving out, just pray they do so before someone catch up with my lies.

" uhm, Julie, I think I'm seeing our new baby mama in class today." shorty said making Julie turn towards the door and there she was, the one she thought was gone, whom she had lied to everyone about In a wheelchair, with an IV fluid right beside her and a nurse holding an emergency kit beside her.

There laid the two girls, staring eyeball to eyeball, one sitting in awe and the other in surprise with the whole class in a drop dead pin silence. 'who's going to break the silence Amy or Julie ' Olivia thought. ' damn, this bitch came, what I'm i gonna tell the class after, they will all know I'm a liar.'

Amy raised her hands and pointed at Julie direction, Julie seeing Amy pointing at her wanted to retort to deny what she said, but as she stood up hoping to say something, Amy said "that's where I will be seating" Amy's nurse wheeled her to stay right behind Julie. while Julie stood up with an open mouth had to shut it up seeing that she didn't say anything.

The whole class was in silence, no one said a word, for like two minutes no one moved and it was getting weird.someone had to break the ice and definitely Julie won't be the one .

" oh, Amy, you are back, I can't believe it, I mean we were so worried about you, like we thought of going to your house and we...'

" class" a teacher came in cutting Olivia off. " please be quiet and sitted you know today's the first day of your exam so be of good behavior as the invigilator will come in , and please, turns towards the boys at the right, don't act the same way you all act in class, you know it's not going to be teacher Salam or miss Dewin going to be at the hall it's someone else that we know nothing about. In fact a stranger to us and I'm sure will not tolerate nonchalant attitude like we do, so it's up to you guys.Thanks." prepare to leaves until something came up in his mind and turn towards Amy "bienvienida" in which Amy replied with a nod and a half smile. "And class some new student will be joining in so be nice." the teacher populary know as the assistance vice chancellor said walking out of the class.

Immediately the class started in an unusual uproar, noise everywhere, paper flying across class, names being screamed loud, even as to toilet paper flying around. yes this was the class I know, the sound I missed all this while sitting in that hospital like a log of wood waiting for death, arrg, stop saying that, christ.

Julie stood up and a few set of people looked at her thinking maybe she was going to cry her heart out about what happened a while ago but where shocked to see her going over to meet Amy. Yeah a few people had to be quiet to listen to what she got to say. "Ahem, Amy , I'm sorry about what I said earlier, I was hoping you could forgive me, I was just trying to crack a joke a while ago please don't be angry with me. please" she said with her hands up in a pleading manner asking for forgiveness.

" Julie what are you talking about" Amy asked. Julie looking like a ghost try to say something but was cut short by a shatter as a group of student walked into the class and the next thing that was heard was

' beep..beep..beep..beep'

'beep..beep..beep..beep' the sound of her mini monitor was heard and the next thing was Amy loosing consciousness.
