Putting my last box into the car I looked back at the house that holds lots of memories for me both good and bad and I couldn't help but sign sadly, if someone had told me six months ago that I'll be moving to an entirely different country soon I would have laughed at their stupidity even though I have always wanted to explore other places but I didn't want to leave my parents alone as I'm their only child but life has a way of rearranging your plan for you even without your permission, life is a bitch I can tell you that for sure.

I lost both my parents 4months ago in a car accident, I still can't believe they're gone now they were the best parent any child could ask for and I wish I appreciated them more when they were here. I got into the car and the driver started heading to the airport.

You may be wondering why I'm moving just after my parents death well my fiancee or should I say ex boyfriend now contributed to seventy percent of my decision to move, staying here isn't going to be healthy for me as I have nothing else holding me back here.

I can still see the image of Sam and my now ex best friend Diane in my head like it's just happening, After my parent burial two weeks after the accident I decided that I couldn't stay alone in the house because I missed them too much so I decided to go spend some days with my boyfriend, I didn't bother calling him since I thought he would be at work and it'll just be a surprise when he gets back from work and he meets me in his apartment not knowing I will be getting the surprise of my life, I got there only to see him and my childhood best friend going at it in the living room, the image is still engraved in my brain and I'm not sure I'll be forgetting it anytime soon. Imagine my shock when I found out they've been together for a year and some months when my relationship with Sam had only been two years, well he did try to get me back but if there's one thing I can't get over it's cheating and it's not even once or twice, they've been going behind my back months after we got together so I decided that I can't stay here anymore, thankfully I can do my job from anywhere as I am an editor so moving wasn't really a hard decision for me.

Sam keeps visiting my house and it was downright getting annoying for me because he was disturbing my peace and Diane keeps throwing me dirty looks whenever she sees me like girl I should be the one doing all that you knew he was with me and you still went ahead to start fucking him behind my back, I don't even have any hard feelings towards them I just want to be left alone for heaven's sake.

Anyway back to the present, the car stops at the airport and I got down with my luggages I checked in and I was on my way to a new beginning in an entirely new environment

~VIKTOR~

I kept looking at the man talking like I was interested in whatever bullshit he's on about but deep down I wish I was in my room enjoying my solitude but my company will not run itself. Let me start by introducing myself properly, I am Viktor Arnandez, the CEO of Black global media entertainment, I run a company that manages idols.

Merely looking at me people often mention that I look like a playboy which I'm not because I'm all for committing yourself to a single person, yes I'm a sappy person and I don't dispute that fact whenever my best friend Jules mentions that whenever we visit the clubs to have fun and I refuse to just get into bed with anyone. I strongly believe in love and no amount of heartbreak will change my mind about that, it's just that I tend to get aggressive when I want something so badly like now that I just want to crawl into my bed and sleep. Back to the moment, Mr James kept rambling about the artists he wants for his events and whatnot

"I think I can get your point Mr James but I feel it'll be better for you to draft up an agreement and send it to my emails and I'll look through it and get back to you, It's getting late" I said in a professional tone to cut the meeting short

"Oh I'm so sorry, I didn't know we've been here for 3hours already, I'll do just that and send it to you by Friday" he replied with an apologetic smile. Then we shook hands and I went straight to my car driving to my house, running a company that has to do with entertainment is not easy but I try to make it work since I've always loved what I do and nothing will change that. I got home and went straight to the shower to have a relaxing moment under the cold water, while I was drying off I heard my phone ringing from the room and went to get it while getting under the bed cover then I realized that it's Jules

"What do you want man?" I went straight to the point as I just want to sleep

"Well I'm fine thank you for asking like a good friend should, you don't even know my value" he replied back like his ever dramatic self

Rolling my eyes "okay I'm too sleepy for this , say what you want before I decide to sleep back asshole, you're disturbing my sleep time" I answered back jokingly because I know he can never get mad at me for any reason, he loves me too much to do that

"I don't care if the president is with you, can't I just decide to check on my handsome best friend without you questioning my motive? Anyway we're going to the club on Saturday and you can't get out of it. Okay bye" the idiot ended the call before I could even reply him. Well that's my demanding best friend for you now I must keep the clubbing in mind else he'll go batshit crazy on me. I switched off the light and passed out immediately my head hits the pillow.

Waking up the next morning I did my normal everyday routine before getting ready for work and then I'm off

Today was supposed to be like every other day until I entered the company's building and what I saw took my breath away, looking around was a very beautiful lady with beautiful eyes looking around the lobby, she looks lost and being the gentleman I am I decided to help the damsel in distress (wink)

"Hi, can I be of help to you? You look lost somehow" I said immediately I approached her with a smile, she looked up and oh my god she looks even more breathtaking up close and my step falters

"Ohh thank you, I'm looking for the board room, I was supposed to meet with my manager there" she said softly and I wish she would continue talking because I think I'm completely whipped and it's not even been up to 10minutes

"I'm heading that way, I can take you" I said

"I'll appreciate that" she smiled at me and let me tell you she's a very beautiful lady

I led the beautiful lady into my private elevator and took her to the board room where one of my company's idol is sitted alongside his manager and some other members including a woman who looked to be in her middle 30's,

"Lia, we've been waiting for you for some minutes " the woman stated clearly delighted on seeing her

Hmm Lia, what a beautiful name for a beautiful lady

"Good morning sir" My employees greeted me and greeted them back while telling them to sit.

This meeting isn't really my cup of tea as everyone here is a professional and can handle any situations by themselves but I decided to just join in just to have Lia in my presence. I didn't listen to any word spoken at the meeting but I knew what it was about since I've been briefed about it last week. The meeting ended and Lia left with her manager without even glancing at me and I felt sad about that

I remember that I was told last week about a writer's book (now that I know is Lia) that is about to be made into a movie and the public is anticipating it, one of my actors will star in the movie as the female lead brother and the other as the male lead. I didn't have interest in the movie before but now I do

I can't wait to meet Lia again which I know will be soon
