"You know you could talk to me. Just pour out your mind," he replied.
"And why would I do that?" She asked.
"We're both strangers in a club who will never get to meet each other again after tonight. Why not do something crazy, release the burden you're holding in," he replied.
"I guess I could do that," she said, heaving a sigh.
"But I'll need a drink for this," she added, gulping a shot of tequila.
"Okay.... I'm all ears now," He replied.
"First of all. Are you a therapist? Like what's your job?" She asked.
"I thought we weren't asking each other questions?" he asked, chuckling slightly.
"I am an artist, but I do therapy sessions during the week," he replied.
"Oh!!! No wonder!!" She exclaimed.
"I'm Tara, by the way......" She kept pouring out everything on her mind till there was nothing left to tell.
"Wow.... I expected something close but not all that," he said chuckling slightly.
"You asked for it," she replied.
"Hey.... Not having a boyfriend or not being able to get married before your younger sister shouldn't worry you that much. The right person will surely find its way to you," he said.
"I hope so," she replied.
"You could ask one of your male friends to be your escort to the Thanksgiving party," he added.
"Yeah sure.... Something will come up before that day," she replied.
"The name's Brian by the way," he added before taking a sip of his vodka.

"Wait.... You're the CEO of this company?" Tara asked, shocked.
"Tara!! Erm..." Brian was speechless at the moment.
"Strangers who will likely never meet again. Ugh!!! I wish," she sighed.
"I just want to have this interview and get this over with," she added quickly, taking a seat opposite him.
"Are you really disappointed with my appearance as the CEO," he asked.
"Brian, we fucked.... And I bared my whole soul to you. So, what do you expect?" she paused to take a deep breath.
"I should be happy to see you as my CEO. Hell no!! And you lied to me," she said, shaking her head.
"I didn't know we'd meet again... And certainly not this way," he replied.
"I'll tell my manager to handle your interview. I guess you'll feel comfortable that way," he said, scratching the back of his head while smirking.
"Yeah... That could work," she replied.
Brian placed a call through his intercom and invited his manager into the office.
Soon enough, another sexy human graced the pair with his presence.
"Hey, I'm Kurt. This man's best friend. I'll be handling your interview today," he introduced himself.
Brian excused himself from his office to avoid Tara feeling discomfort.
Fortunately, she got the job because of her qualifications, and she was more qualified for the position than others who came for the interview.
"You'll begin work tomorrow at 6am. But a little tip for you come earlier than 6am. Your cranky boss needs his coffee on his desk by 5:30 on the dot," Kurt told her before she left the company.
"Thanks once again for giving me this job, I really appreciate it," she replied, smiling from ear to ear.
"Your qualifications were good though," he replied.
Kurt later went to Brian's house after work hours.
"Hey man!!" Kurt called, tapping his back.
"Bro!!" He replied.
"Who was that young lady back at the office? And what was the whole tension going on between you too?" He asked.
"Fuck off bro," he replied.
"Something definitely happened," Kurt said as he threw his head back in laughter.
Brian was excited that he could finally meet again with the woman who rocked his world that one night, but at the expense of her discomfort. She was one of a kind that was one thing he knew for sure.
The following day he arrived at his office early. Tara came early too but she had run off to a nearby cafe to get Brian's coffee ready for when he arrived.
"Here's your schedule for the day together with your coffee," Tara told Brian as she placed the two things in front of him.
"Thank you," he replied.
"Send the schedule to my mail from now on," he added sternly.
"Yes boss," she replied.
"Erm... Tara, we have a meeting to attend in two days," he said.
"I'll be prepared," she replied.
"Good. You may leave," he stated.
