Kendra sighed tiredly as she continued walking under the heavy sun, for sure she's was gonna get sun burn .
She increased her pace till she finally reached Ruzi bar and foods where she works . Kendra rushed into the restaurant lucky for her madam Ruzi isn't around ,some workers were already serving the customers so the place was very busy with lots of activities.
She walked to the back of the where all the workers change and put on her apron and working hat. She walked to the counter where's she stays, Ethan her friend who also works there walked to her with a frown on his face
"Hey Ethan" Kendra greeted counting the cash
"Hey endra" he replied still frowning
"What's up with the frowny face ?" she asked looking up from what she was doing
"Your late again for the 5th Time this week" Ethan said leaning on the counter
"Yeah I has a lot of work at the mall and I had to walk all the way here" she smiled sadly
"Oh endra, I told you to quite some of your jobs the load is too much for you, do you wanna break down" Ethan muttered staring at her with concern
"Am fine, I just have to save up money for Lisa's college and other expenses" she said making Ethan scoff
"Take a look at yourself, you're now thin, you don't have much clothes , your house rent ..." Ethan mumbled
"Shuu, it okay I promise to quite one of my job" she smiled
"Okay, I gotta go to, table 4 needs to be attended to" he Pecked her cheek before walking off
"I need to look for more jobs to save up for lisa" she thought inwardly
Her thinking was cut short as her phone ringed ,she looked at the caller ID and it was Lisa . Kendra swiped the green button
"Hey Lisa how's school" Kendra said cheerfully
"Um not that good" Lisa replied
"Why"
"We have lots of practicals which costs lot of money" Lisa said
"Oh how much ?" Kendra asked
"$100" lisa muttered making Kendra gasped
"Okay I'll find a way and send it" she said ending the call
Kendra stared at her account balance sadly, this was the money she's been saving up for her rent , she sighed as she transferred it into Lisa's account

He dropped her on her bed before covering her with her thick blanket .
Scott kissed her forehead , he turned off the lights before exiting the room
"I need to get her a nanny" he mumbled to himself .
