Jessie Jefferson Pov:
I hurriedly walked out of the doctor's office as I felt hurt and hatred for him, he's the reason why my life seemed miserable, and regret filled my thoughts, I sat slowly on a bench in the corridor, a nurse hurriedly walked past me and glance slightly at me, she quickly entered the emergency ward as it seems like urgency in her movement, I quickly avoided a gazed and wiped my eyes with the edge of my sky-blue printed skirt, my black heels seems sweaty, I took off the shoes in my right leg and caressed my toes
My eyes gazed at the brown envelope Dr. Maxwell gave me and the thought of gazing at my test results once again scared me, I quietly sobbed and didn't care about the eyes of people who stared at me, because of that man, I was in a lot of mess that would last me a lifetime, he's the reason for my pain, and I don't think I'll ever forgive him, but I can't ever hate who I love, would it ever be possible, I thought to myself, memories of my past floats in my head.
Suddenly, I felt a cold breeze on my face, my black short hair blew up, covering part of my face, jerking me off my thoughts, and I unconsciously gasped for breath, I arranged back my hair and took off a string of hair which swing in my face, and arrange the collar of my black chiffon blouse, I slide my legs back in my heel, and hang my black bag on my shoulder, and took the brown envelope on the bench, I stood up quickly, and brace up like my feelings weren't trampled on, I put on my black sunglasses and I hurriedly walked out of the hospital and headed toward my car, I sat in front of my car, and place my head on my steering wheel, I had a light tap on my car window, and I slowly raised my head to see who dared cut me off my thought
I weakly raised my head, and the sight of a tall handsome young man caught my, he was a security guard in the hospital I came out from
"Excuse me, ma'am" he called out to me with his charming baritone voice
"Can I help you?" I weakly asked him and gazed at him with my eyes partly closed
"The man over there wants to have a word with you," he smiled and told me and pointed in the direction of a navy blue sports car
"Who the hell is that?" I wondered and asked him, gazed at the car
"Tell him, if he wants to speak to me, he should rather get down from...," I paused with the sudden sound of a loud outcry behind me, and I quickly turned to see what it could have been
The sight of a young skinny lady heavily pregnant in labor caught my eye, she screamed out
I felt hurt even more and I wish it was a reverse

I parked my car in the parking lot at Saint Louis Hospital and sighted her car, I didn't need to be told whose car it was, her head bent on her steering wheel, and the conversation she had with the security didn't seem like it went on, and dialed her cellphone phones number it rings from the other end but there wasn't any response, I slowly alight from my car, and placed my hands in a black tailored trouser pocket, and my white long sleeve shirts sparkle in the noon Sun, and I slowly walk to toward her with a smile on my face and stood beside the security man, I lightly tap his shoulder to get his attention, he quickly turns and a bit frightened, he seems scared, perhaps he didn't think I would stand beside him
"Thanks, man," I told him, he smiled slightly at me with a nod of his head and walked away with me
"What are you doing here?" I asked her with a concerned stare
"I should ask that of you" she calmly replied to me, but it sounded slightly rude in her tone
She gazed at me with her sunglasses on, and quickly took them off, and her eyes looked dull, she smiled weakly at me, wondering if to tell me or not
"Jessie, what's wrong with you?" I asked her once again, she took a brown envelope beside her sit and shoved it towards me
"Here, you can look at it yourself, see you at home," she told me rolling up her car window screen switching on her car engine, and hurriedly driving out of the parking lot, she seemed angry about something, I gazed at the envelope she handed over to me and slowly walked towards the hospital, I turned once again to glance as she drives away from the hospital
Third-Person POV
She sat on the bed in their bedroom and gazed at the twilight, the bold full moon brightening the atmosphere and she could see her way around the room, slowly, she stood up from the bed walked toward the window, and stood there, and croak sound filled the air
Suddenly, she felt a soft touch on her shoulder, she jerked off from her thought, turning to face Raphael Jefferson, he pulled her towards him, hugged her warmly, and placed kisses on her cheeks
"It isn't the end of the world, that isn't the reason I got married to you" he whispered slowly in her ears and kissed her earlobe seductively as he tried to console her
"Doctor has confirmed my womb infertile, I wouldn't be able to become a mother, it's all because of you, the last abortion I had made me barren, I did five abortions, it's all just for you," she told him, and sob in her husband, Raphael Jefferson arms, she hugged and squeezed his shoulder with her red painted fingernails, the thought of being barren didn't sound right in her head.
Suddenly, she closed the window and walked away from him, he slowly followed behind her, and she turned to face her husband, and a thought came through her head, she quickly wiped off tears from her eyes, and smiled sheepishly at him, he could only see her from the dim table lamp placed beside their bed on a wooden stool, Raphael seemed amazed at her sudden change in attitude, he stared at her and caressed her cheeks with his hands, the cold twilight blows in the air through tiny holes in the closed window in their bedroom
"What is it you want ?" Raphael Jefferson whispered in her ears and hugged her tightly to herself, Jessie kept mute and gazed at him, she smiled once again and pulled herself away from him
"We can adopt a baby girl," Raphael Jefferson told her
"No, I want to have a child with you" she angrily replied to him and wiped off tears from her eyes
"But the doctor said it's impossible?" He whispered in her ears
"Make it possible Raphael, I don't care to know what you do, just do something, and make it possible, or I'll have it my way" she yelled at him
A trampling sound was heard in the corridor of their bedroom, they both gazed at each other, wondering what it was or who it was, it sounded like a heavily packed bag, Raphael stood up and slowly walked barefoot toward the door, he slowly opened it and peek at the dark corridor, but didn't see anyone, he jammed the door harshly and turned his back to the room, he walked away from the door and sat on the bed
"Who's that??" Jessie asked, with a concerned look, she didn't want anyone to know about her medical report
"How can I make up for my past mistakes?" He asked her,
She moved closer to him and whispered in her ears, and his eyes widened in shock, he didn't think she'd ask that of him
"That's the only way out, and if you don't do what I want, I won't see you again," she told him
"What do you mean by that?" He asked her, wondering what she meant by her statement
"I'll file for a divorce, and get half of what you have" she threatened him
"Least you forget, you have all this wealth because of me," she said and told him.
She gazed at him with a daring look, she took an alcoholic wine from a white table fridge in their bedroom and poured two glasses of wine, she sipped from it and sat down close to him, he couldn't stop wondering why she wanted him to keep up with such an incredible task, she handed him the other glass of wine she held in her hand and fake a smile at him
"Do you think she'll agree to help us?" He asked her, he seemed more confused and she seemed to be in control of the situation
"I'll try to convince her, and pay her off later" she replied to him
"Ho...w, how would you convince her into such an act, she's a poor girl from a decent home" he stuttered and told her, he suddenly felt sweaty on his forehead, he didn't think it was the right thing to do
"How can you get it done?" He asked her once again trying not to get her pissed off with the same question
"Follow my lead, and let me handle things my way" she whispered in his ear
"Whatever I want, I get," she said and stared at the right corner side of the room
