Scars of yesterday

In the year 2032, the home 🏡 coming of Ashley high finally came...

The atmosphere was filled with joy 🤩 upon arrival, an everlasting joy mixed with a bit of indescribable feeling.

The school's entrance was well decorated far beyond beauty.

Current facilitators watched as student made way into the premises, whiles the older facilitators were filled with tears.

Watching their younger generation grow into responsible citizens made their heart proud.

Teachers play magnificent roles which can never be measured..

Year groups began meeting each others. Juniors who were once toys used by their seniors embraced each other without fear.

How interesting !

Somewhere in the afternoon, the whole premises was choked with cars and human beings🤣.

Lily who happened to come back to her alma mater lost her mind once they got to the school.

Whiles her fiancé expressed his 🤩 joy, the poor soul was far lost in thoughts.

"Babe!!! " her fiancé called out to her.

"Is everything okay 👍?? U are..... " and he swallowed the rest in. "I'm good, babe" she replied falsely.

Meanwhile in her head, her thoughts couldn't give her a resting place.

How was she going to explain to her mates? She is engaged to her junior, a well known junior for that matter.

A student she was two years ahead of and even from the same Ashley high.

Even though Lily's love story with her junior was so interesting, she feared.

And the multimillion dollar question 🙋‍♂️

"How did her high school love with her mate disappear into a love story with a junior.?" She continued contemplating.

Her fiancé opened the door of their Mercedes Benz, asking his gorgeous queen to get down .

She hesitated for a while but then one ☝️ glance at her sweetheart she was okay.

She smiled. Though eyes followed her, it didn't affect her anyway.

"Lily!!, Lily!!," it was her high school bestie.

Asana couldn't hide the joy when she saw her Lily from afar.

She run through the crowd in her outfit like years back.. Just as expected, Lily returned the same energy.

This made Asana awesome.

In reality most people tend to put some people behind as if they were never 👎 a part of us.

The thing Is those people were once the soul we always yearn for.

Asana finally recognize the sweet looking gentleman whom she tried remembering for a while now. "Lil Why" his nickname flashed into her mind.

"Damn!!! This omg 😱' her mind spoke to herself.

This was that fresher whom her year girls were dying for .

Even at a point in time she once had a crush. Asana looked at her bestie who was filled with a seraphic smile.

Each part of the program went amazingly well. Yeah...

Even though she has fallen deeply for her junior , her heart seems to be locked up in the worlds of Ashley high.

For a heart breaking moment it felt like something was left behind.

The atmosphere began blowing some hidden pains.

Memories were uprooted and she felt a sharp pain in her chest.She held tight unto her dress.

" Is this the place we used to live??.

The same place we first met. Wait.... This same place were it all began??

The only place we all know?

Oh how sweet and simple it was.. " the emotional part of her wept out.

In the process of healing, sometimes we feel completely okay but other times we feel broken" 💔🤧

Now, all her attention was lost. Her mind traveling back to the year, 2019 where it all started from.
