Bruised Love

I couldn't wait to get to Ethan's house;today was his birthday and I was so excited to give him the gift I had bought for him,it was a Rolex wristwatch we had seen at the mall on one of our outings,Ethan had looked at it with a longing that was evidently written all over him.

"It's beautiful"I said observing the wristwatch and smiling up at him.

"I wish it was mine"I could hear the longing in his voice.

"If you like it so much then why don't you buy it?

"I would have but it's too expensive"He said and quickly added"Forget it,it's not that fancy anyways"He dragged me away before I could say anything.

He didn't talk about the watch again but I would see him looking it up on shopping sites and one day he had subconsciously told me"I wish I had money,that wristwatch would have been mine ages ago"I was going to say something but he quickly brushed it off.

I made up my mind to get him the wristwatch because I wanted to make him happy.I bought the wristwatch a month later but I decided to keep it for his birthday which was three months away;it was a very special gift and I wanted to give it to him on a very special day.

Ethan and I had met in a night club,he approached me on the dance floor,I danced with him for a while only because I was too drunk to know what I was doing,one thing led to another and we found ourselves outside having sex in the club's parking lot and we hooked up from there but we got involved in a serious relationship a month after that.

Ethan was different from the two other guys I had dated,he wasn't much of a talker and his sole aim seemed to be to do only what pleased me.If I told him I wanted to eat pizza,he would stop at nothing until he gets me the pizza even though it would cost him his last dime.

He made me feel important and loved in a way that was somewhat frightening but charming at the same time.

He wasn't all that rich,he was a small time lawyer in some law firm but he was always showering me with gifts,not sparing any to spend on himself and he didn't let me spend on him either.

"I'm your boyfriend,I'm supposed to spend on you not the other way round besides if you spent your money on me I wouldn't feel so comfortable around you"He always said whenever I protested on his not letting me get him things.

"I think you finally found the one"Sammy said when she met him for the first time,I agreed with her because I believed that finally I had found the true love I do desired and deserved.

Should I call him to let him know I'm here or should I just go in?What if he wasn't around?He had told me he would be taking the day off so he should be around but I haven't paid him a surprise visit before well there's always a first time for everything.I thought as I climbed the stairs to Ethan's apartment.

I got to Ethan's door and was going to ring the bell but I saw the door was slightly open so I pushed it and went in.I could hear a low music playing from his bedroom,there were wine glasses and bottles on the table and scattered pieces of clothes around the living room,I took off my heels and dropped my purse on the table picked two wine glasses and a wine bottle.

"Looks like you started celebrating without me,well I'm here now,don't worry baby, I'm going to spice up the celebration"I chuckled as I made my way to his bedroom.

I got to the bedroom door but I didn't know whether to call out his name or kick the door open.I decided on the former,I opened my mouth to call his name but I stopped when I heard a very loud moan followed by a scream.

"Fuck me harder baby"

Did I come into the wrong apartment in my excitement to see Ethan and give him his gift?I looked around,no,this was Ethan's apartment but what is this I'm hearing?The moans and screams were louder now and I was hearing words anyone in the middle of hot steamy sex would say.I shook my head as tears started falling from my eyes.

"NOT AGAIN" I said as I forcefully kicked the door open.

I was beyond shocked.The sight before me was not what I was expecting and I nearly fainted.It was Ethan alright;Ethan and three other guys were on the bed having what looked like the best sex of their lives.

ETHAN WAS HOMOSEXUAL!

How?How could this be?I thought he was straight,so I've been dating a guy who's probably fucked every guy that pulled down his pants in front of him.

"NO!"

I didn't know if I screamed it out or it got stuck in my throat but I woke up in a hospital bed two hours later.
