"ahhhhhhhh who the Fuckin-" I stopped as I saw my mother dousing me with water.

"It's 8 Talie. Wake up before I beat your butt," my mom, Katherine, ordered sternly before leaving my room.

Well, I'm Natalie aka Nat, Natty, Talie, and so on... Yep, that's my 42-year-old mom who's still in great shape and ready to discipline me but spoils her older son and my twin brother, Nathaniel. We're twins, so he gets it too, right?

I tiptoed to the room next to mine and used my hairpin to unlock the door. There lay the big guy sound asleep. Time to wake up, Biggy bro!

*SPLASH*

I poured the jug of water on his face. He jolted awake, searching around to find the culprit. When he spotted me, I quickly dashed back to my room and shut the door in his face; I think I heard a bone-cracking noise, maybe Nate's nose.

"OPEN THE DOOR YOU, SHORTY," he demanded. I was about to open it, but then I changed my mind.

"Since you called me SHORTY... see ya at college Biggy bro," I teased, and he growled in response.

After munching her breakfast, Natalie strolled to her college since it was a 10-minute walk, while Nathaniel hopped into his Black BMW and was set to scoop up his buddies before cruising to college.

Their pals still had zero clue that they were twins since they never mentioned their last names, refrained from mingling at college, and, moreover, Nate was in his 3rd year while Nat hopped on the college train a tad later.

Regarding their resemblance, it was a tough nut to crack since they were both geared up not to raise any suspicion. Just like today, Natalie sported ripped blue loose jeans paired with a loose white tee, black and white canvas shoes, headphones on, and a tote bag. Her hair was styled in a half bun, with a gold lock charm necklace around her neck and a hint of gold rings on both her thumb and middle finger.

Arriving at college, she found herself pulled into a group hug by her besties Eva (Evy), Hailey (Hails), Ashley (Ash), and Delilah (Lila).

"Oh god, I can't breathe... let me GO!" Natalie struggled to catch her breath under their tight embrace.

"Oops, sorry-"

"Stop everything and listen up. The 4th year and 2nd year are chosen to perform the drama play for Valentine's Day... which means Chris will be there, and on top of that, he's the leader of the 4th-year drama play!" Ashley exaggerated excitedly, cutting off Delilah.

"You're one lucky girl, aren't you?" Eva wiggled her brows and smirked, knowing Natalie is the leader of the 2nd-year drama play.

"But there's no way he'll notice me," Natalie sighed. Before they could say more, the sound of the bell interrupted them, signaling the start of their class.

"Let's catch up during the break," Natalie added, and they all grabbed their stuff from the locker, heading to their first subject, Business Studies.

The girls were deep into discussing how to make Chris notice Nat and maybe even fall for her when their English Professor, Rebecca, finally found them.

"Here you are! I've been finding you for hours now, Nat," Rebecca said, looking exhausted.

"We had other classes, plus we had to clear some doubts. Yeah, what is it?" Nat questioned curiously.

Rebecca praised Nat's English skills and grades, suggesting she play the female lead in the drama play.

"Come again?" Nat couldn't believe her ears. "Me as the female lead? No way! I'll look horrible, and the whole uni will think I'm a laughing stock. It's been ages since I wore frocks or attended prom," she whispered loudly to her buddies and the professor.

"Please, Natalie... just once," Rebecca pleaded, giving her puppy eyes. Nat couldn't resist and reluctantly agreed.

"Fine," Nat said, and Rebecca jumped in happiness, instructing them to meet at the auditorium room after college.

"What if Christian is the male lead?" Evy gasped, and Ash added, "You get to act with your crush."

Before they could continue, Hailey approached their table drenched from head to toe, with their fellow mates holding her.

"Oh, what happened to you?" Ash asked the wet girl.

"I came from the swimming pool," Hailey sarcastically replied as she sat next to them. Their banter began, and Nat raised her eyebrows at their buddies who approached with Hailey.

"Hailey was speaking, and her outfit matched Grace, the bully of the college," Amelia paused and continued, "Also, she referred to Hails as a country bumpkin and accused her of copying her style."

"She deserves a good piece of mind," Nat smirked, eyeing Hailey.

As they reached the football court, they were greeted with the 3rd year VS 4th year practicing, with the rest of the seniors and juniors cheering for them. They easily found Grace, who was excitedly watching Christian play, triggering Natalie even more.

When we got to the football court, we were met with Grace cheering. She really wants to get in Christian's pants. Rip my cousin! Let me share a secret with you that no one knows, not even my friends... Christian Welsh is my Cousin bro.

People don't question us as we don't have the same name... Because Christian aka Chris is my mom's elder brother's son, basically my uncle's son. We rarely talk. Oh, Nat's heading towards Grace!

From the corner of my eye, I saw that one boy who always made butterflies flutter in my stomach, but he loves my friend. He hasn't confessed, but the way he looks at Natalie! Yes, it's Nat.

I feel a bit envious of Nat, but not too much since she loves Chris, not...
