Lavendra, a woman married to a CEO named Daza, feels devastated knowing that she is only one of the requirements for Daza's grandfather's inheritance. Her heart hurt even more when she found out that Daza still had a girlfriend named Lora. However, since it had already happened and dhe wanted the marriage to have the happy ending she had dreamed of, Lavendra finally decided to fight to win Daza's heart. She tries to make Daza fall in love with him, even though it is very difficult because Lora keeps bothering her. Lavendra sacrificed a lot of time and energy to win her husband's heart until, without realizing it, Lavendra felt tired of what she had been through. She felt stupid and hopeless. "Turns out I was too naive to dream of a sweet wedding."

Chapter 1 Theatrical Wedding

"Remember, we are only married until I receive my grandfather's inheritance! After that, we will end this marriage and you must never appear before me!" said Daza, Lavendra's husband, who had just been inaugurated less than 2 hours ago.

This sharp look made Lavendra very unhappy. Even though she knew that this marriage was Daza's grandfather's last wish so that the inheritance could be handed over to Daza. She feels very sad. The dream of a happy marriage is just wishful thinking at this point.

She didn't answer, and that made Daza angry. He immediately grabbed Lavendra's chin and made her look into Daza's very frightening eyes.

"Answer me! And I assure you, don't ever touch me! Because I won't!" he stressed.

He immediately punched Lavendra in the face. She was thoughtful when she realized that this was all just an act. In fact, Daza's family was quite fond of her, and even let her believe that Daza might be able to accept her in the future.

"I think your answer should be yes," Daza said.

The man got up and walked towards the entrance. Lavendra heard the sound of the doorbell being pressed from outside. He looked in that direction. Who came, even if it was supposed to be their first night as a bride and groom?

As soon as the door was opened, a woman appeared who was quite sexy and also very beautiful. Judging by looks alone, Lavedra lost by a long shot. The woman came in with a big smile, immediately hugged Daza and kissed him on the cheek.

"How are you, darling?" She greeted.

What? Darling? Did Lavendra hear that right? She immediately lifted her head and looked at the woman. The two humans looked at her as well. The woman even looked happy that Lavendra saw her. She kissed the face of the man who was now her husband again.

Lavendra's hands trembled as she saw them. She didn't know that Daza already had a girlfriend. Even Daza's family said that Daza had been single for a long time, that's why Lavendra was ready to accept him! How is that..., she was really shaking.

The woman approached Lavendra. She looked at herself very arrogantly while smiling victoriously.

"Listen, don't think of yourself as a wife! You were only married because of Daza's grandfather. Don't you dare touch him, let him sleep alone. I can kill you if you dare," the woman warned.

For some reason, the words made her shudder. Lavendra realized that they must really be after that large inheritance for this woman to be willing to let Daza marry her. Lavendra's self-esteem was shattered.

"Oh, one more thing, I'm Lora. I will replace you after the inheritance falls into Daza's hands," she continued.

The woman named Lora immediately turned around and approached Daza. They came out and disappeared behind the door. It was as if the dream of being the only woman worth having had vanished in the blink of an eye.

Lavendra's common sense couldn't accept it. It still feels like a dream that wasn't supposed to come true today. This reality hit her common sense. It collapsed.

Lavendra knelt and couldn't hold her legs. She sobbed, her chest felt tight, and her vision felt blurred. Even in Daza's house, Lavendra screamed as loud as she could. She was completely devastated.

"Why!! Why do I have to get all this! I have never done anything wrong, my God! What kind of trials are you giving me, who has obeyed you all this time!" cried Lavendra.

Has she been bad all this time? Does she not share enough? Is she less filial? Then why does God seem to turn a blind eye and give her a marriage that is far from happy? It feels like Lavendra is like a mistress.

That night was heartbreaking. Lavendra could only cry on the sofa as she repeatedly regretted her decision to accept Daza. The man who came to her parents in all sincerity has now become a double-edged sword for her. He is not a protector, but a destroyer.

What if my father and mother find out that their daughter is just being played, even though they were very happy when they let me marry,' Lavendra thought.

Before she noticed, she had fallen asleep on the sofa, her eyes puffy and wearing clothes she hadn't changed. She was too hurt to move her body to the room, or even to take a shower. The world is not the same.

The next day, with her face still swollen, Lavendra heard the doorbell ring. She immediately got up and went to the door. The bell rang repeatedly, causing Lavendra to rush and accidentally open the door.

How surprised she was when she saw Daza's father and grandfather! Her face, still dirty from not having had time to go to the bathroom, was seen by her in-laws who had come to visit.

"Lavendra... where is Daza?" Papa asked.

"So-and-so, so-and-so, that's it, Dad..." Lavendra was nervous and confused. She didn't know how to answer her father-in-law's question.

The grandfather's sigh still sounded very light. He entered, then invited Lavendra in while holding Lavendra's shoulder. Of course, she was confused. They walked into the living room. It felt as if Lavendra couldn't even prepare a small drink right now.

"Daza went out with a woman again?" Grandpa asked.

She was surprised to hear what Grandpa said. Her eyeballs were shaking. Her thoughts were already confused. Could it be... did they know this too? But even if they knew, why did they still marry Daza to her?

Even though Lavendra could actually lie to preserve her husband's dignity, Lavendra felt no need to do so. After all, they already knew that Daza had another woman. So Lavendra nodded her head.

The disappointment of the two middle-aged men was clearly visible on her face. The grandfather, however, was filled with very strong anger. Now, she really seemed to be an unusual person.

"That boy... how could he agree to get married and still have a relationship with that cheap woman! If I knew that, I would definitely not let Daza marry you!" the grandfather said firmly.

Lavendra's heart, which had felt sore and broken, suddenly felt very light. There was someone who seemed to be on her side for now. This regret is too great to return. The atmosphere became quiet again.

Grandfather looked at Lavendra, his reassuring look trying to tell her something. Lavendra, who was shocked to hear those words, didn't really know what was going through Grandpa's mind to be able to tell him that.

"Lavendra, come to the company tomorrow.Work there.I want to see how persistent he is in wanting this inheritance.
