The day was finally subduing, so was the noise and uproar in the city. Reece stared at the city as his car moved along the streets. Sitting next to him in the car was his right hand man, Jack.

Jack worked for Recce, he was more like a personal guard too.

Jack's phone seemed to beep all of a sudden. He grabbed it and stared at a text. “Boss, The Intel we sent just dropped something" He stated. Reece turned to him eagerly.

“He says the old man is trafficking young girls and women. Turning them into sex slaves at his hotels in the city" Jack stated. Reece sighed in disappointment.

He was suspicious of Mr Jacob but he hoped such allegation would turn out to be false.

“Umm boss, what should we do now?” Jack asked.Reece didn't answer, he seemed to be lost in his thoughts.

“We can call the cops to deal with it or something?” Jack suggested.

“We cannot Call the cops. They will do absolutely nothing about it. Jacob has men everywhere, even In the police!" Reece replied.

“Then what are we going to do sir?” Jack asked.

“ I'll have to take care of this myself ” Reece stated.

“Alright, I'll get the men ready anytime you order me to sir” Jack Stated bluntly.

“That won't be necessary..” Reece opposed.

“Sir?” Jack asked in confusion.

“ There's no need preparing anyone, we're paying Jacob a visit now" Reece replied.

Jack paused for a moment thinking of what to say next.

“But sir, we'll be late for Ryan's Birthday. If you miss it this time, it'll make it the fifth time in a row!"Jack said.

“ Ryan's Birthday can wait, I have to do this first” Reece replied.

Jack sighed. He didn't bother trying to persuade.him more, he knows Reece well to be someone that doesn't change his mind easily.

After a long ride, Reece's car finally reached Mr Jacob's mansion. The gate opened and they drove in. He was welcomed by one of Mr Jacob's men and was led in. “Mr Reece, I don't recall the boss asking for your presence today” The guard asked as they walked in.

“He didn't. I just have something quite important to discuss with him today ” Reece replied. “Oh I see” The guard said. They reached the living room and Mr Jacob could be seen holding a bottle of alcohol. He was quite surprised to see Reece and dropped his bottle as soon as he walked in.

“What do I owe the sudden visit Reece” Mr Jacob said and puffed his Cigar. “I need to talk to you Sir” Reece replied. “Take your seat” Me Jacob stated. Reece took his seat and cleared his throat.

“i have been suspecting this for a long time but I finally got an answer today sir. You are trafficking young girls now. Or you've been doing so from the very beginning ” Reece said bluntly.

Mr Jacob pondered on it for a while and sighed. “And what makes you think that is true” He asked. Reece Paused for a while, he truly didn't have any substantial evidence yet that could prove his allegations. “it was from a reliable source sir. I would love you to tell me if that is true or not” Reece replied.

“What you heard was nothing but feeble lies made by my enemies to depreciate my name” Mr Jacob replied. Reece smirked. He could already tell Mr Jacob was lying considering he was been too calm on the issue. Mr Jacob would have normally lost his cool in other situations.

Reece stood up. “ I'm sorry I suspected you sir. I'll make sure to shut all the enemies up. I'll take my leave now” Reece said. He bowed and left the mansion.

Mr Jacob grabbed his bottle and gulped some alcohol. “Do we let him be boss” Neon, Mr Jacob's personal guard asked. “Keep a close eye on him for now. I'll take care of him if he goes wild again ” Mr Jacob replied.

Reece soon arrived back at his house. His wife was in the living room when he arrived looking beat up. “Are you okay. You look pretty weary” She asked. “ I'm fine Mia. Just some troubles at work” Reece replied.

“Troubles?. Is everything okay with Jacob ” Mia asked. “No. Everything is so not fine. But I'll definitely sought things out soon ” Reece sad with a smile. “I know you will. You always have” Mia said and pecked him.

The door opened and Jack walked in. “You wanted my attention sir..” He asked. “Yes. Come up to my room. We need to discuss something ” Reece replied. He stood up and left for his room. Jack followed him.

*In Reece's room*

“ I'm guessing didn't go well at his place sir.." Jack said. ”Yes. We need to prove he's really into human trafficking“ Reece replied.

“How do we go about it sir” Jack asked. “I can't say for sure how we're supposed to prove it. Perhaps we could infiltrate his den and take pictures of his men” Reece suggested.

“Will that be enough ” Jack asked. “That might not be enough truly ” Reece replied. “What about him. What if we wait till he visits there and then we confront him. He surely won't be able to deny it this time around ” Jack proposed.

“Well, that might work but how do we know when he visits there” Reece asked. “Our Intel is still out there sir. He should be able to tell when Our target visits their hideout ” Jack replied.

*The next day*

Reece and Jack were driving to the location sent by their Intel. Mr Jacob's hideout which he supposedly use in holding the girls captive was somewhere in the outskirts of the city.

They soon arrived at the location after a long ride. It was a motel and next to it was a bar which was quite stiffed with people. The two houses were built next to each other.

Reece nodded at Jack and they both approached the motel. Jack suddenly stopped. “Sir, that looks like one of Mr Jacob's cars” He said and pointed at a parked car. “ You're right. He's surely here” Reece replied.

They reached the doorstep and knocked. No reply came and Reece didn't hesitate to push the door open. He was quite shocked to see dozens of men all aiming their guns at the two intruders. And sitting on a chair in the room, was Mr Jacob.

“Took you long enough to finally show up” Mr Jacob said with a devilish smile. “I know you're trafficking young girls sir. I'll advise you give it up or I'll report this to the police ” Reece said bluntly.

“Calm down Reece. You don't have to get so worked up ” Mr Jacob replied. “ I'll give you 24 hours sir. There's going to be a war after that” Reece said angrily. He left the motel instantly with Jack.

Mr Jacob chuckled as he watched Reece leave. “I actually liked him quite a lot ” He said to no one precisely. “What should we do boss” His guard asked. “What should you do?. Kill him of course!” Mr Jacob ordered.
