Chapter 1
Third Person.POV
Luna's whole house almost shook because of the strength of her guitar playing on the electric guitar, add to the strength of her beating on the drum.
He closed his eyes and put on a headset to hear what he was playing properly, because of the noise he couldn't hear the noise and the entrance of his stepmother.
Angelica looked closely at Luna because of her extreme annoyance, she pulled the plug so the whole house was silent.
"That's why it's so noisy in here and the whole house almost shakes because you're here" his stepmother said angrily but she didn't get an answer from the girl and went straight to the mini refrigerator in her room to get water.
"You're really rude, I'm still talking to you!" Luna put down the bottle she was drinking and faced her stepmother.
"Can you just face me and come out because I'm going to take a bath" the girl said coldly, Angelica never likes Luna especially the way she looks at her.
"Anytime you're really rude I'll report you to your daddy!" Angelica said angrily and pointed more.
"What's going on here, angelica who are you talking to" from the door Luna's father Ramon peeked into her room.
"Hi dad" he saw the surprise in his father's eyes so the girl laughed softly.
"Luna what are you doing here" her father asked her.
"I'm not allowed to come home to my house, dad?" pretended to ask the girl, but she saw the anger on the stepmother's face.
"Ramon, it's good that you came, your son is very rude, and come home to the Philippines, right? You're studying in America, don't say you wasted money," the stepmother asked him, making him laugh out loud.
"What's the meaning of this luna, didn't you finish your first sem, what are you doing here" daddy asked me.
"Dad, can we talk about this downstairs, I'm about to take a shower, I don't want to be late for my first class," I answered her, seeing the surprise in her eyes.
"What class? What do you mean" daddy asked me confused.
"I'm staying for good" Angelica's face showed resistance to Luna's answer to her.
"Ramon" asked the stepmother to her husband.
"Can we talk about that with you guys, I'll be late" I shooed her away.
"Don't be rude, Luna, I'm not done talking to you yet," daddy said angrily, so I saw Angelica's teasing smile.
"Why dad?" I answered this irritated while frowning.
"I will send you to America that's my decision, I have already paid for your university for the whole year, you can't just leave" I just laughed and he did it.
"Did he do it, didn't he?" I answered indifferently. I can see the anger on daddy's face. I used to tremble with fear when I saw that expression on his face, but now I can no longer meet his sharp gaze.
"Don't wait for me to get angry with you, Luna, be a good girl and follow me" daddy asked me.
"Dad, what do you think of me, kid? I've thought about it and my decision to study here is complete. If you're thinking about the money you spent on me, don't worry, it was mommy's money that was spent and not yours," I really emphasized what was said. I used it to make them see that it wasn't their money that I used so that if they spoke it would seem like it was theirs.
I could see that the couple's noses almost started to smoke because of my answer, Angelica looked at daddy in disbelief.
"Look Ramon, your son's horn is getting longer, that's what he's going to bring here, get him out of the house Ramon" Angelica asked Ramon.
"And one more thing this is my mother's house, this house is bequeathed to me, even if you don't want to believe it, ask my brothers, so I can evict the people I don't want to be with in this house" I ignored this answer so they looked at me annoyed this.
"Why are we planning to send Ramon out, look at your son's answers" he reported to daddy.
"Don't worry, I'm not going to send you out here, my daddy's wife's wife" I replied, but I was stunned.
"Leave it alone, Angelica. Luna doesn't seem like she's going to make trouble. I think she won't do something like that because her older brothers are here," daddy said, making me smile sweetly.
"But Ramon, Angelica is right, Luna is here first, she stays here for good" daddy interrupted Angelica's words.
"Of course I learned a lot of things while im in America" I said with a smile but to the couple it seems that what was said meant something else.
I'm Louisiana Natasha Montenegro I'm 19 years old from a well-known family here in Cavite because of the famous and talented business of my brothers.
I just came back from America where I lived almost five years but now I'm back to pay back the people who owe me and him.
When I went down the stairs, I saw the big eyes of my step sister, Jamaica, and she turned to her stepmother.
"Mom, why is that here, shouldn't it be in America" Jamaica asked her mother, Angelica didn't answer her daughter and just looked at me sharply.
"I'm staying here for good" I answered the resistance on Jamaica's face like her Mother's reaction.
"Mom why did you agree for sure it will only cause trouble here" Jamaica complained.
From getting the bread, he faced Jamaica laughingly "why do you all not want me to be here"
"I don't want you here, I'll talk to daddy to send you back to America. You have nothing good to do here" Jamaica seemed like a child complaining here.
"There's nothing you can do, daddy agreed, adding that if my brothers find out that I'm here, it will be really hard for you to get rid of me" I answered laughing.
Jamaica Villanueva is his father's favorite daughter even though she is not his real son so her head grew bigger.
The mother and daughter gave me a bad look, if the look could kill, I would have been blindsided.
"Why do you all not want me here?" I asked her.
"Because nobody wants you here, remember" he answered me with difficulty.
"I'm sorry, my brothers are still here who want me to be here, remember" I imitated him.
"I'll make sure I get you out of here," Angelica asked.
"Ok, let's see, sis, I hope we are in the same class, can you also introduce me to your friends" I said angrily.
I made it to the top, but I still heard Jamaica's screams downstairs. I couldn't help but laugh.
Looks like I'm going to enjoy it here.
Kalix parked the car just as Cathy was about to get out of the car, she suddenly screamed because of the speeding motorcycle that almost hit her, fortunately, Kalix pulled her right away.
"Ahh!!" Cathy shouted loudly so Kalix immediately approached her. The side mirror of Kalix's car did not survive because it collided with the motorcycle driver's arm.
"Are you okay Cath?" Kalix asked the girl worriedly so Cathy nodded, Kalix went out to confront the owner of the motorcycle.
"Hey, you know how to be careful, don't you? You're going to have an accident doing that," the young man asked Kalix to the motorcycle driver.
The motorcycle driver removed his helmet and Luna's face appeared.
When I took off my helmet, I saw a mixture of fear and shock on the face of the woman who was in the car that I almost hit.
ashiana?" I was shocked at the mention of the name I hadn't heard in a long time, his face was full of fear so I secretly grinned, my behavior turned towards this man with a fullness of confusion.
"Do you know him Cathy" his partner asked in surprise so Cathy just shook her head.
"Ehem No, Miss, do you know that you almost caused us an accident" Cathy asked, so she just smiled at him.
"So" she replied cathy's eyes widened.
"What do you mean by so miss, won't you apologize to us, especially to my partner" asked the young man with a cold look.
"Why did you run over her? Did I hit her?" I asked her.
"No, but you should apologize to me because you almost bumped into me," answered Cathy, knowing that she wanted to scold me, but she just couldn't do it.
"That's right, I didn't even hit you, so there's no need to apologize to you who almost did," I ignored this reply to make his eyes widen even more.
"You don't know us miss" Cathy's companion asked me.
"No, do I need to know you?" I asked to make him look at me colder.
"Kalix, maybe she's just a transfer, it's obvious because she just looks new here, let her come in," Cathy said softly to her companion, so I just rolled my eyes at the girl's cuteness.
to be continued.........
"Son, do you really have to go far to study? You can study here in the province." My Mother said. "Mom, we talked about this last night. I'm sure Lissana will be with me there. And she'll also help me find a job so I can have more expenses for my daily life there. It's a shame if she's not there This is an opportunity. You know that I passed as a scholar at a university there." My explanation is long.
After spending a night with a strange man on the day before her wedding, Arianna left the country to start her life afresh. The 22-year-old Arianna Jason lived her life pleasing those she loved the most, without knowing that she was simply a prey being nurtured for the day of her ruin. Her life has tasted the butter pill of betrayal. She wants to give back to the world what she's got but how can she change her good, innocent personality to fit into a cruel society and world? Can her sweet nature be contaminated, or will she make it through, paddling on the right path?
"After seven blind years with Joshua, Daniela caught him pampering his new flame just weeks before the vows. Disgust sharpened her resolve. On their wedding morning she strode down the aisle, tore off her ring, and called it quits. The arrogant Clark family rushed to sneer-until three formidable Stewart brothers stepped in. The eldest's voice was ice. ""Your empire is about to implode."" The second vowed ruin for anyone who dared bruise his sister. The youngest flashed a sly grin. ""Watch and learn what true power looks like."" The Clarks were left regretting their actions, while Daniela melted into her arch nemesis's arms. ""Take me home, hon."
Abandoned as a child and orphaned by murder, Kathryn swore she'd reclaim every shred of her stolen birthright. When she returned, society called her an unpolished love-child, scoffing that Evan had lost his mind to marry her. Only Evan knew the truth: the quiet woman he cradled like porcelain hid secrets enough to set the city trembling. She doubled as a legendary healer, an elusive hacker, and the royal court's favorite perfumer. At meetings, the directors groaned at the lovey-dovey couple, "Does she really have to be here?" Evan shrugged. "Happy wife, happy life." Soon her masks fell, and those who sneered bowed in awe.

My world revolved around Jax Harding, my older brother's captivating rockstar friend. From sixteen, I adored him; at eighteen, I clung to his casual promise: "When you're 22, maybe I'll settle down." That offhand comment became my life's beacon, guiding every choice, meticulously planning my twenty-second birthday as our destiny. But on that pivotal day in a Lower East Side bar, clutching my gift, my dream exploded. I overheard Jax' s cold voice: "Can't believe Savvy's showing up. She' s still hung up on that stupid thing I said." Then the crushing plot: "We' re gonna tell Savvy I' m engaged to Chloe, maybe even hint she' s pregnant. That should scare her off." My gift, my future, slipped from my numb fingers. I fled into the cold New York rain, devastated by betrayal. Later, Jax introduced Chloe as his "fiancée" while his bandmates mocked my "adorable crush"-he did nothing. As an art installation fell, he saved Chloe, abandoning me to severe injury. In the hospital, he came for "damage control," then shockingly shoved me into a fountain, leaving me to bleed, calling me a "jealous psycho." How could the man I loved, who once saved me, become this cruel and publicly humiliate me? Why was my devotion seen as an annoyance to be brutally extinguished with lies and assault? Was I just a problem, my loyalty met with hatred? I would not be his victim. Injured and betrayed, I made an unshakeable vow: I was done. I blocked his number and everyone connected to him, severing ties. This was not an escape; this was my rebirth. Florence awaited, a new life on my terms, unburdened by broken promises.
