Becoming a surrogate wife for the charming last son of the Walters was never part of the plan... Having a charming knight in shiny armor during the youthful age had always been every girl's wish and Clarissa who always held the tiny hope of meeting her Mr. Right wasn't an exception. However, the dream is crashed into bits and all hopes are shut out when she gets dragged into the tangled strings of rich families with a main role played by her as "The Surrogate Bride" which was set up by her aunt. Exposed to the new world and harsh torments, she adapts and plays her role with perfection until her world crumbles when she finds out she's pregnant from the rape she was a victim of, on her wedding night leaving her with the question WHO WAS HE? Desperate to find out the churning question in her heart and to get revenge on the innocent children she'd lost, she threads a whole new journey to leave the Walters family in distort for only then, would she gain her sanity. What would be her fate over her new journey? How would she cope with the drastic changes in her life? What would her next move be when the real bride comes back for revenge?
"Clarissa. Are you planning to wake up any time soon?" A blonde haired woman yelled as she shook the body on the bed.
"It's not even Three P. M. yet aunt. Let me sleep," the body grunted In response then changed her position before covering her whole body with the duvet.
"Clarissa Annabelle Callahan!"
"We'll be attending Mister Walters' wedding ceremony at the fifth floor of the hotel today and the manager has asked us to go take care of the bride's dressing room before eight. And all you can do is Sleep? Are you nuts?!" The woman yelled again in rage.
This made Clarissa jolt out of bed in frustration with widen eyes as she walked towards the bathroom.
"Okay, okay. I'm on my way." She muttered with sleepy eyes.
"So much for a rich kid's wedding." She yawned.
"You can say that again." Her aunt shot her a glare, staring at her back which was facing her.
"Nah. I'd rather pass."
*************
"Fuck! I'm just twenty five. There's still enough life for me to enjoy instead of tying me down from having fun by marriage. I mean..."
"Your father is always right, Romeo. I have no say over that."
"Oh come on, mom." Romeo tried whining but got a scold in return.
"You'd better go get dressed. I wouldn't wanna get on your Father's bad side if I were you, you know." His mother replied and ushered him up.
"Anyone out there? Bring in the suit please."
"Dress up honey. And remember, act cool. You'll be fine, darling." Mrs. Walters said and left the room after she received a call.
"What do you mean? She ran away? At the last moment?" Mrs. Walters voice held a huge panic as she paced in the hallway.
"How the hell could that happen on your watch? Isn't that why you were hired?" She yelled over the phone, then lowered her tone remembering that she was opposite her son's room.
"Get a substitute. Tell the make-up artist to make her look exactly like the former bride. I can't afford to let anything go wrong."
"And I want a neat job please. No more shits, Mike." she replied arrogantly and walked away from the hallway.
*************
"Hello Miss. Could you please clean up the room for us one more time? We wouldn't want the bride to be in a dirty room. She's obsessed with cleanliness and wouldn't appreciate an unclean environment, you know."
"Huh? What do you mean? I just cleaned the room again."
"There's no harm in cleaning it one more time." the middle aged man smiled sweetly as he cussed underneath.
"But I cleaned it thrice..." Clarissa tried speaking up but was cut short by her aunt.
"Clarissa. Clean. Now!" She ordered.
"Sure thing, aunt." She grumbled, stressing the aunt word before entering the room.
The man also entered the room with her and locked the door.
"Oh fuck. You're just the perfect substitute. Mrs. Walters would be so happy. I can imagine the sweet smile on her face right now when she hears the good news." The man smiled as he stares into nothingness with dreamy eyes.
"Uhmm...What's this about please?" Clarissa looked up in confusion which made the man smile at her, licking his pale lips.
Clarissa pointed the mop at the man in defense as fear took over.
"Oh baby girl. It's almost eight. Act normal and we'll be done quickly." the man smiled wickedly as he walked towards her.
"Hey. Don't come closer. I'm warning you." Clarissa spoke up in fear.
"Oh please cool your biceps. I'm not raping you or anything." The man shuddered.
"I just need your cooperation and you'll be fine. Besides, you're gonna benefit from the marriage. I mean the Walters are the richest, right?" he added.
"Uhmm...marriage? The Walters? Why the hell am I marrying Mister Walters? Isn't Selene Flynn his bride?" Clarissa asked In confusion as the man sighed.
"Ahh you really are dumb. Get ready now. Madam Walters would be here soon. I'll explain on the way." The man opened the door and few ladies entered the room.
After several minutes of dressing and makeover, they were finally done.
Her long dirty-blonde hair was now permed which looked curled, Followed by her lashes which were not really long but charming. Her sapphire eyes were also brought out at the moment.
Her white dress accentuated her figure and brought her shape out perfectly. She looked ethereal that even the man was in a daze for a moment.
"Aside the eyes, you're nothing different from her. We could say you fixed lens."
"May I leave now, Dave?" The makeup artist suddenly asked, her question Dripping of sarcasm.
"Sure sure. This way, Lady Selene." Dave spoke up, like he was addressing a royalty.
"Selene? I'm Clarissa. Clarissa Callahan!" She voiced out.
"Just keep cool and your aunt will be safe, Selene." Dave whispered as he blackmailed poor Clarissa.
She seemed to have got a panic attack from the reply as she staggered backwards.
"W-what did you d-do to my aunt?" She stuttered.
"She's gonna be fine, provided you act normal." He smiled and led the way.
"Ahh she's so hot."
"I wonder where she came from."
"I heard she'd be getting married to the last child of the Walters family, Romeo Walters."
"Lucky her!"
Whispers, envious looks and adorations came from every angle in the narrow path which led to the elevator. The bride was totally surrounded by able and hung soldiers, to protect her from external attacks or such.
Finally getting to the fifth floor, Clarissa's breathing increased as she inhale and exhale heavily due to nervousness.
"Oh dear Selene. You look exceptionally beautiful tonight."
"I can't believe I'm letting you go. When will I see you again?"
"It's okay, Dad. It's not like I'm leaving the country." She spoke after getting rid of her nervousness to avoid being suspected.
"Yeah, you're right." Her Father smiled back, anxiety evident in his tone as his wife held him from breaking down.
Her mother held her hand and walked down the aisle. A dashing man could be seen on the altar. The hall in the hotel was exceptionally designed that one couldn't easily distinguish between it and a real church.
The service went on smoothly. Clarissa, or Selene rather, played her role perfectly as the wife-to-be until they got to the part where she was asked to kiss her groom.
"You may now kiss the bride." The pastor said, which jolted Clarissa back to her world.
She stared weirdly at the guy opposite her as he brought his lips closer to hers. He tilted her head in a way such that her veil fell to the side and covered the view of the audience and slightly whispered.
"You're not her."
"W-what do you mean?" She couldn't help but stutter at the level of intimacy between her and a stranger.
"Don't play dumb. I know you're not Selene." He smirked then gave her a brief kiss on the lips before withdrawing.
She was left in a daze. Probably because she was caught, or because she was given a kiss by the hottest guy she's ever met in her life.
The audience cheered at the sight, not knowing what actually happened underneath. She finally threw the bouquet and the party was over. By that time, it was five O'Clock, post meridian.
Clarissa was ushered into the elevator, still surrounded by bodyguards as usual. Followed by the 'ding' sound made by the elevator, was the door. It finally opened after what took forever.
"Here's your room ma'am."
"Mister Walters would come join you soon, ma'am. Till then, please take Care of yourself." The hotel manager replied, curtly with a slight bow to show respect.
"Okay. Thanks for the time." Clarissa smiled and dismissed the manager before the atmosphere gets awkward. The manager was her boss, or ex-boss since she wasn't working there anymore.
She entered the room only to see rose petals, scattered on the bed and on the floor. The neon light was also dimmed as it produced different colors which illuminated the room beautifully. It was breathtaking.
Clarissa ignored the beautifications of the room by shuddering then muttered, "Forget it. I shouldn't be here anyways."
Just as she started to strip out of the tight wedding dress which was now barely covering her breast, she felt a large palm on her tits, then a jaw which rested on her shoulder.
"Shit. I need some fucking privacy!" She yelled in annoyance due to the slight harassing act that was done towards her. She pushed the man off her and to the bed.
"Oh please. I'm your husband now." The voice came out, laziness present in it. The person stood up again and caressed her cheeks which was now wet.
Within a nanosecond, the man was on Clarissa. The view was hot. Dimmed neon lights, a closed room, rose petals and two opposite genders atop one another.
Moans and groans followed one another at every second. Sobs could also be heard but was soon displaced. Although her hymen was being broken, she still felt the immense pleasure from the man's slow strokes inside her.
She dug her nails into the figure's back in ecstasy and wrapped her legs around his waist for a deeper penetration as another moan escaped her mouth.
After several minutes of love making, the guy collapsed and the night was calm again.
