A young orphan at a teenage age who lost her parents lived with a maniac who later thought her to be a psychopath who lost her empathy for humans.
"Hey babe, why are you so quiet? I said I'm sorry for ignoring you at the bar. Is it hard to forgive? Grace! c'mon, cheer up! I wasn't checking out that waitress. It's our day okay? It's going to be fun just you and I tonight away from work and everyone", josh said to his girl friend Grace. Grace replied "I'm not still talking to you. You embarrassed me so bad this afternoon in public". "Oh now, don't take it so serious. And why aren't you talking to me? I'm going to go out of breath soon. Josh smiles then took a quick look at Grace then back at the road.
You know I don't like the silent treatment" said Josh.
Two hours passed by and they both drove in silence to his late grandfather's cabin in the woods. Finally that same day, they arrived by past 6pm. Josh carries their luggage and some drinks off the car into the cabin.
It's now late, almost clocking the twenty two hundred hour. The wind whistles while the trees dance. It is a wonderful night.
The music playing from the cabin was the only noise that could be heard. Josh came jogging downstairs to Grace, as he gets near her he grabs her to himself. Grace frowns and crosses her arms on her chest. Josh noticed the sarcasm but didn't care. He releases the hug and sits on the couch pouring a wine into a glass, took a sip then said to Grace " it's our day, why are you in this mood? We are here, it's our Third Anniversary. I know you love me & I love you too, so go get a glass from the kitchen let's toast and drink until we can't anymore". Grace looked at him then stands up and walks into the kitchen. She gets to the kitchen cabinet slowly while considering if she should forgive Josh for what he did. She opens the cabinet door and takes a glass. Suddenly, Grace hears a noise and immediately she looks around to see who it is but, finds no one. As she closes the cabinet's door, she sees a girl standing behind her through the mirror on the cabinet's door. She screams and fearfully looked back to check who she saw, but there is nobody. Grace gets scared and calls for Josh's help.
"Josh! Josh!" Grace screams out loud. Josh, who is tipsy from the few glasses of wine he had drunk, runs to the kitchen to rescue his Girlfriend from whatever problem she could be in. When he gets into the kitchen, Grace Runs to him holding him close while pointing at the spot she saw the girl stood. "I saw a girl standing over there, she looked cold," Grace said feeling so sure. Josh quickly searches around for anyone or clues but finds nothing. He tries the door and it is locked firmly. Josh starts laughing and told Grace "you're seeing things. Maybe it's the stress". He takes Grace's hand and gently they both moved to the sitting room to drink and enjoy the rest of the night.
15 minutes passed and Grace wasn't still sure about what she saw so; she stood up from beside Josh. "Babe, Give me a sec". She then walks into the kitchen to cross-check, just to be sure if what she saw was actually true. As she gets into the kitchen, she sees a knife stabbed on the kitchen counter. Grace is surprised to see the knife in such position. "Someone must be playing games with me" she says in her thoughts. As she moves towards the knife, she hears a voice calling her to return and stay by him. It was Josh's, she turns her head away from the knife and faces the kitchen door " I will be there, give me a sec..." she shouts and as she turns her head to look at the knife, it was no longer there. She becomes frighten and wonders if it was actually her mind playing tricks on her. "Grace! I'm waiting for you "Josh keeps on calling. Grace immediately exit the kitchen and went back to sit by Josh. Grace thought there's no need to be afraid anymore, it could be her mind playing tricks.
Almost mid night, Josh and Grace are drunk and having fun. They become romantic and start kissing and fell on the couch. "Ha ha Josh", Grace laughed out; "You are a wild animal. Let's go to the bedroom first" she said. Josh was horny and quickly carried Grace lifting her off the floor and upstairs they go.
Josh gets into the bedroom, drops the file on the bed and started from where they left off. Two minutes later, Grace sees a shadow pass by in the room, she stops and tells Josh what she saw and he takes it jokingly and continues with what he is doing. She stops him and tells him to go check it out. Josh reluctantly stands up and looks around the room. After searching, he stands at a spot and says to Grace "there's no one in here". Grace replies "but it's true, I saw someone". She points at the closet "Check in the closet, it might be there" Grace says in a Soft fearful tone. Josh opens the closet and looks inside and sees nothing. He looks at Grace and says "Nothing, just clothes". Grace looks around and sees the bathroom door opened so; she points at the bathroom "please honey, check there too". Josh Sluggishly moves into the bathroom to check. After 10 seconds, he walks out saying " nothing in there too". As he moves towards climbing the bed, he sees a human like image under the bed that had just moved. Josh had to move close to the bed and bends down to check what that was.
A minute passed, two minutes passed, three minutes passed, Grace is getting real scared. Suddenly, Josh stands up screaming and Grace with the tension screams in fright. Immediately, Josh boosts into laughter. "Stop that joke Josh" Grace shouts while feeling embarrassed. Josh smiles and bends down again to actually check under the bed for what he saw move.
"Oh My God! Grace, Arhh! My eye!" Josh cries aloud but Grace didn't take it serious, but says "Josh, stop that joke and come to bed". Josh stood up still screaming, walking towards Grace. As she looks clearly at him and sees that his left eye was swinging out its socket. Immediately, she starts screaming and runs downstairs to the telephone. She tries calling the police but it didn't go through, she pulls the side stool aside to check if the phone was connected and finds the wire cut in two. Then she hears footsteps coming downstairs and Josh's voice calling her name shouting for help. She is terrified and runs to the front door to exit the cabin but the door was locked. She runs to the windows and they were locked firmly too. The footsteps gets closer and she couldn't find of any escape but to hide behind the Curtin of the window she is trying to escape from. At that moment, all she wants was not to die.
Still hiding back of the Curtin, she hears Josh's voice close enough, calling her name and crying for help. She runs out from the Curtin to Josh and tries helping him while asking him "who did this to you!" Josh didn't even know what did that or who so, he tries to speak in pains saying, "I don't know, I just wanted to check what was under the bed".
Josh keeps losing a lot of blood and getting weaker by the second. Grace is panicking, with her hand under his neck to support his head. She didn't know what to do to help her boyfriend. Her clothes and hands all stained with his blood.
Suddenly, the door up the stairs slams, Grace Looks up towards the stairs then, says to Josh "someone is coming. I'm really sorry". Just After she said that, she removes her hand slowly from under Josh's neck, making her way back to hide herself at the curtain, leaving Josh bleeding to death on the couch. After 2minutes, she sees a little girl walking down the stairs with a knife in her hand. The little girl comes down slowly, humming a song. Getting off the stairs, the little girl surveys the sitting room, sees Josh bleeding on the couch, she smiles and moves towards Josh. Josh is hallucinating and keeps whispering words. The little girl gets to him and pats his hair. Then she looks at the exact Curtin that Grace hides behind and smiles. It is as if she is smiling at Grace. She looks back at Josh and slowly uses the knife to cut Josh's chest off. Grace was about screaming but holds her mouth shut with her hands while she watches her boyfriend torn open. Then the little girl use same knife in stabbing his heart over and over again then, stops, whips the splashed blood of her face with the back of the hand holding the knife and then she sits down, looking at Grace's direction saying, "you can come out now, it's your turn". Grace pretends for a while that it wasn't her who the little girl was referring to.
The little girl repeats same sentence again and again. The more she repeats the sentence and Grace makes no move, the angrier the little girl becomes. The little girl frowns in a bit then, lightens up her face and says "You think I don't know where you are. Well, I do and I don't like playing hide and seek with strangers", the little girl says while standing up from where she sits and walks to the music player, turning it on.
Grace peeps, and sees the little girl dancing, backing the window. Grace slowly comes out of the curtain and moves into the kitchen that is not too far from the curtain. The little Girl knew Grace had left the curtain and into the kitchen but pretends not to be concerned but continues with her dance while playing with the bloody knife.
Grace moves straight for a weapon, searching the kitchen for a knife or a rod. She opens the kitchen drawers finding no knife or rod but plates and cups. She is so scared and didn't have any clue on how to escape from all these mystery. Suddenly, the music stops. Grace, tip toes to the kitchen door to spy on the little girl but couldn't find her in the sitting room. Grace pulls her head back into the kitchen, "where could she be?" Grace asks herself. After waiting and watching for the girl, Grace decides to go for another escape attempt. As Grace tries exiting the kitchen, she sees the little girl standing in front of the kitchen door. Grace becomes shocked and moves backward. "Who are you?" Grace asks the little girl. The little girl replies with a nice smile and voice, "I am Tracy. Are you looking for these knives?" while showing Grace the two knives in her hands. "Why are you scared? Is the game so scary? Tracy asks Grace. Grace Replies," I don't want to play; this is real life, not a game. I don't want to die, Tracy". The little girl's face changes to a sad face then the little girl says "but I want to play, your boyfriend likes my game". Grace shakes her head left to right, "he didn't like your game and it's insane. You are a crazy little girl with a crazy game", Grace spoke aloud. The little girl gets angry then warns Grace saying "my games aren't crazy, don't ever say that ever again", the little girl warns Grace carefully and then smiles and says "No worries, you'd be dead in 3 minutes.
Grace shifts back to the counter, picks up a plate and throws it towards the little girl. It hit the little girl, falls to the floor and broke. Tracy falls down also, collapsing.
Grace stands for few seconds and then later walks slowly to check if the girl is dead. Getting close to the little girl, she sees one of the knives on the floor. She picks it up and holds it just in case the little girl is alive and still insane. As Grace gets to the girl, squats down and turns the girl over to face upward. Grace sees the girl's eyes closed but she was still breathing, it is like the little girl was unconscious. "What's that?" Grace asks herself thought wise as she spots a scar on the girl's neck. Grace looks closer when suddenly the little girl's eyes opens, she sees Grace Close looking at her neck, and she immediately use the other knife that was in her hand in stabbing through Grace's throat and the smiles saying "I told you, you will die in 3 minutes. Thanks for playing my game". Grace tries voicing out but all that could come out was blood. Grace falls on the ground holding her neck and slowly dies while the little girl watches. But before Grace died, the little girl walks to her, bends down and whispers into Grace's ear "tell the devil that I would like him to play my game too". Tracy chuckles, stands upright and starts humming same song as before.
Tracy moves to the door and opens it with the key and walks out, setting the whole cabin on fire. At the Cabin's play ground, Tracy swings on the swing in the woods watching the house burn down. Then after, she changes her cloth and set off on the road to where ever.
