Jack is a shy teenager that finds love when he moves to a small town but months later the love of his life loss her life to a cureless illness now he's on a mission to let go of his griefs and move on but things aren't working out for him.

Chapter 1 A new town, a new beginning

It was a beautiful day in the small town of Maple Grove. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and everything seemed perfect. Jack had just moved to town with his family, and he was excited to start a new life. He was a shy, introverted boy who had never really had many friends before. But he was determined to make a fresh start and make some new friends.

As he was walking through town, he saw a girl sitting on a bench reading a book. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Her name was Lily. Jack couldn't take his eyes off her. He was too shy to talk to her, so he just walked by and pretended not to notice her.

Jack was mesmerized by Lily and couldn't help but feel drawn to her. He knew he should keep walking, but he couldn't make himself do it. He changed his course and headed for the bench where Lily was sitting. He was nervous, but he was determined to make a good impression.

As he got closer, he noticed that Lily had long brown hair and blue eyes that sparkled in the sunlight. She looked up from her book and smiled at him. Jack was so taken aback he couldn't believe it. He had never had a girl smile at him before.

He nervously stepped up to the bench and introduced himself. Lily smiled and said her name was Lily. She asked him what he was doing in town and he told her he had just moved there with his family. She asked him if he had made any friends yet and he told her he hadn't yet. She asked him if he would like to hang out with her and he eagerly agreed.

They talked and laughed for hours. Lily told Jack about the town and all of the fun things he could do. She was so friendly and welcoming. Jack felt like he had known her for years.

By the time they had to say goodbye, Jack and Lily had become fast friends. They made plans to hang out again the next day. Jack couldn't believe his luck. He had moved to a new town and already found a friend.

Jack thanked Lily for being so kind and waved goodbye. He felt a warmth inside that he had never felt before. He knew that life in Maple Grove was going to be better than he had ever imagined.
