Standing beside the window which brought the whole city of New York to view. Luciano's hard eyes watched the movement of the cars on the road, he moved the cigarette from his lips as he puffed the smoke out of his mouth.
"Boss, the plane is ready for take off" A blonde haired man said.
"Get the bags and let's leave" Luciano said placing the cigarette on the ash tray.
He picked up his phone and walked out of the room, Luciano was wearing a white shirt and black pair of trousers. His black thick hair was combed back neatly giving him a professional look.
In a few minutes he was sitting in his private plane which had a total of twenty people in it including himself and the pilot.
"Mr Donovan, would you like a glass of wine?"
A slim tall flight hostess said with a wide smile on her face.
"No" He said plainly, one could not see his eyes because it was covered with a pair of thick black shades.
"Mr Donovan, this is one of our specialty it is the..." Luciano dropped the pen which he was holding and turned to look at the hostess. "Didn't you hear me say no? Are you deaf or are you trying to fucking annoy me?" His deep voice sent chills down the woman's spine.
"I..I am sorry Mr Donovan" She stuttered and walked away from him hurriedly.
"Luciano my friend, I could hear your voice from outside I wonder who annoyed you this time" Rome who was wearing a white shirt and blue trousers said with a wide smile across his face.
"What are you doing here?" Luciano asked Rome. "I am going with you to Canada, why else will I be here?" Rome answered.
"When is the plane taking off?" Luciano asked turning his attention back to the tablet which was in his hand.
"Very soon" Rome sat down opposite Luciano looking at him intensely, Luciano who could feel his burning gaze on him raised his head to look at him.
"Stop fucking staring at me" He frowned,
"Do you really have to do this Luc? You should move on, it has been ten years already" Rome said with full seriousness in his voice.
"Move on?" Luciano chuckled darkly, "Would you move on if someone who killed your parents lied to you and made you work for him, would you move on if you grew up in the streets without any one to feed or cater for you?"
Rome just stared away from him, "Answer me Rome would you?" Luciano almost shouted, when Rome shook his head lightly gesturing a no, "That is what I thought, I would not rest until Paul Salvador's skull in beneath my feet and I will do anything and everything in my power to make sure that happens, I will avenge my family" Luciano spelled out every single word.
It was no use saying anything else because it seemed Luciano had made up his mind at this point no one could convince him otherwise.
Luciano and Rome has been friends for five years, they met each other in a fast food restaurant where they used to work and after that they had become very good friends even though Luciano refused to admit that Rome was his best friend.
It was a six hours flight to Canada, Rome pulled his eyes mask up yawning loudly as his eyes caught Luciano still busy on his tablet. "What are you busy doing man? Have some rest, you have been on that thing all day" His voice hoarse as he was just waking up.
"I am not jobless like you Rome I have a company to run, sometimes I think letting you run my company would be a bad idea" Luciano murmured the last part to himself
"I heard that man, just because I am not working now doesn't mean I am jobless besides it's a new year we are supposed to be in one of your five star clubs partying till day break but here we are on our way to Canada" Rome complained pulling the eye mask completely from his head.
"I don't remember asking you to join me on the plane, you had the option to stay at home and party but you decided to join me here." Luciano stated
" I just wanted to make sure you are safe that's why I am here, you don't have to lie I know you enjoy my company" Rome said leaning more in the chair.
Luciano just ignored Rome and continued with his work, not so long after the pilot announced the landing of the plane, asking them to tighten their seat belts.
When the plane landed, Luciano and Rome walked out of the plane towards a black Range Rover sports car which was waiting for them.
"Boss, I have everything you asked me to get right here" Martin said hanging Luciano a black small briefcase.
"Good, the keys?" Luciano asked after collecting the bag from Martin.
Martin handed the key to Luciano who walked over to the front seat of the car to sit down, Rome did the same moving to sit down at the other side of the car.
Before starting the engine he unlocked the briefcase and pulled it open, there were a number of files and papers in the bag but a particular small card caught Luciano's attention. A small smile appeared on his lips as he picked up the card and looked at it.
'Lucian Rogers' the name on the card was boldly written, this was his ticket to getting his revenge. His new identity had been released. "I am coming for you Paul Salvador, just wait and see" His words were filled with venom and anger.
